I cannot say enough positive things about Rachel. She is absolutely exceptional and has great knowledge and care. I was nervous with the extensions going in, but have grown to love them. I had my first appointment with Rachel a little over a month ago and she made me feel so comfortable and will continue to go to her for as long as I have extensions. She’s amazing.

She is so knowledgeable about hair health and makes decisions to not only give you the look you want to achieve but also keep your hair healthy, which is so important! The salon was GORGEOUS and the vibe was exactly what I was looking for - comfortable and private. Rachel is a gem. I absolutely LOVE my hair!!! I came to Rachel needing new extensions after having a different method of extensions for 2+ years. She talked to me about the IBE method that she specializes in and gave me all the info so I was comfortable and knowledgeable about the process. During this busy, holiday season, she was able to make time for me on her schedule just 2 weeks after our consultation (mind you my appointment was LONGGG) so her being able to fit me in was such a blessing!!! Any questions I had she was glad to answer and took me through every step of the process on what she was doing with my hair. It’s hard to find a stylist who does great work and who you’re able to connect with but once I found Rachel it was game over!!! She is the BEST!!!

Rachel is the best in hair hands down. I have been going to Bold City Hair for a couple years after a bad experience with another stylist that overstated her experience in hair extensions. Rachel is a professional in every manner, is always there to answer any questions I may have. If I could give 100 stars… I WOULD! I’ve been coming to Rachel for years and all I can say is, I’ll never go anywhere else. We’re all human, when she’s sick and can’t do my appointment I understand and the communication is always fantastic and pleasant. She ensures that we are rescheduled and sends reminders with services listed so things are transparent. I’ve never left her salon unsatisfied. She makes sure the consult before each appointment is thorough and that she understands my goals while being realistic about what she is able to do with what I have. We’ve done extensions multiple times and I LOVED them so much!! Each time we’ve done them she’s made sure the install is perfect, I’ve had so many compliments on my hair and how they can NEVER tell it’s not my own. I’ve been so extremely impressed by her work. Color is always on point and each cut is done exactly how I asked. She’s is so friendly and is straight to the point.

Rachel did such a fantastic job on my hair! I have had long hair my entire life, and after covid and damaging color, came to her with breaking, thin hair that was not growing. She colored my hair to match my natural tones, and installed extensions based on a couple of photos I showed her. I could not be more pleased! My extensions look natural and are giving my hair a much needed break as well as a huge confidence boost!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Rachel for a couple of years now and she’s absolutely wonderful! She’s so friendly and easy to talk to, and the salon atmosphere is great. Rachel has always done such a beautiful job with my hair. Just recently, I’ve begun the transition to blonde (from very dark brown hair) and Rachel’s done such a great job and I am so happy! She’s also done extensions for me before and they looked seamless and lovely as well. I would definitely recommend her to anyone! She’s easy to get ahold of and gives great suggestions. I don’t think I’ll ever go to anyone else for my hair while I live in Jacksonville!

Rachel is an amazing hair artist. I have always wanted long hair and I could never grow it to the length I wanted. I came to her after having tape in hair extensions that I was not happy with. She explained all the different extension methods and I decided to go with the sew-in method and I am in love! Such a big difference!! She listened to what I wanted as far as the color (and I was not sure how to explain what I wanted) and she nailed it!! I am in love with my new hair and color!! She uses top quality hair that is silky soft, I now have the beautiful long hair I have always dreamed of!!

I’ve been longing for long hair for years now and after using products, trimming, you name it I feel as if my coloring had my hair not growing. I wanted hair to my hips but also the blonde look since my hair is naturally light brown. Rachel provided me with an identical look to the photograph I showed! Her color correction was spot on and the length and thickness I received was incredible. I could cry at how happy I was after her service. She will make your hair dreams come true! Rachel is a HAIR GOD! Move over el chapo, she’s coming to steal the throne. Dude, I had no idea what fusions would actually be like, I did my research but you never know until it’s on YOUR HEAD, I scheduled a consultation with Rachel, she went over like 5-6 different options, but I was dead set and wanted fusions. She gave me a price and that was exactly what I paid, I would have paid double or triple!! She is so cool, we laughed the whole time, she explained as we went exactly what she was doing and was about to do. She thoroughly walked me through aftercare and how to wash properly. The set lasted almost 5 months with regular care. When I went in for a second set, I was nervous because I could feel some matting still, but she removed the old fusion extensions within like 30 mins, and scrubbed, conditioned and combed out my natural hair, and had the new set in and absolutely perfect within a few hours! I have paraded the masses to come to her, she will literally turn you into miss America from a scrub! GO TO RACHEL!!
