    I took my daughter here to get three braids. It didn’t take very long. The lady did an amazing job she was really nice and gentle with my daughter. My daughter loved the braids. She already wants to come back for her next hairstyle.

    I received a knotless braid service. She provided the hair which was awesome. I even have several different colors in my hair which I could not inform her that I had prior to coming. However, she made a miracle happen. It turned out beautifully. The braids were painless and neat. She did them long and was very accurate with timing. I will be coming back and referring others. Lucia was awesome!!!

    Great place to get your hair braided. I walked in without an appointment to get braids that wouldnt take long and they accommodated me. Service was great, braids were on point, I loved them and have received many compliments.

    Got my hair done by Shan and she did an amazing job. I went just to get my real hair braided straight back but she asked to spice it up a little bit and it came out great! She was quick which was surprising to me because I have a lot of hair usually spend a long time in the salon getting simply Hairstyles done. But I will definitely be back and highly recommend giving her or any of the women there a try. Loving my hair!! Thank you!!

    These ladies are the most talented, funny, patient women I have ever met. Even away in college I still come STRICTLY to them religiously. They have relaxed my hair. Box braided it. Bleached and dyed it. Dreaded and styled it. Gosh soooo many looks. I love these ladies. (Been going since 2013!!)

    Today was my first time visiting and it was amazing! Camille did half and half braids on me and I love it! She made me feel so comfortable because Ive dealt with hairloss from having a baby and my hair is not super thick naturally on top of that so I was VERY self conscious about it but she was so professional and made me less anxious! I will be back! Thank you so much Camille!

    These ladies know how to braid!!! I got my hair braided by Alexis, she was super gentle and delicate with my hair. I have short hair and she was able to grip it without a issue. These women have skills. They are not one of those stylists who play in your head. They are raw!! It was my first time here and my experience was amazing, I will not be booking with any other braiding salon after booking with Braids by Design.10/10 Professionalism10/10 Cleanliness10/10 Talent20/10 AFFORDABILITY!!!

    I have been going here over 9 years. I don’t get my hair braided a lot but when I do I always go to them. They ladies are so helpful, nice and just a good vibe to be around. They are very very good at what they do. I highly recommend them. They offer more than braids as well. I recently had my hair done by Shan and omg the compliments I got on my hair. She did my hair perfectly!! Definitely can’t wait to my next appt

    Good job on the braid style and done in a timely manner. My suggestion/critique is that the stylists add a chair or stand where the hair can be placed so customers dont have to hold the hair for the stylist. Additionally, when the stylist arent on time for the appointment dont give adequate notice, the service needs to be discounted appropriately.

    If you want your hair done right, come here!! These girls are the truth!!! They are into hair care and how to maintain your style. Shan did mine and she has growing hands!! My hair grew 3 inches in 2 months. I will not go elsewhere for my protective styles.

    Chestina is clearly one of the best hair stylists in Jacksonville whether it is weave, color, or braids she has the best and funniest attitude of any stylist I know. And her skills are flawless and her prices are reasonable.

    Absolutely Amazing Braiders...All of Them.. Thank you to Mrs Jada and Ms Chess...Just an awesome team and Family...I was a disaster when i came in the salon, feeling down about a prior stylist and certain style that i wanted....They were very busy but made the time and worked me in(after they saw the mess i was left in)..There is nothing i can say Bad about BRAIDS by DESIGN...A+A+A+ and yes i will be back...Thank you again
