    I love this place! Rachel is the best! Haircuts and beard trims are always on point. I’ve been going to her for all of my hair/beard needs for almost 4 years now, even when she worked at other shops. But needless to say I’m glad she’s ended up at this one, much better experience than the others. Very friendly staff, they always have some great conversations going on! Great atmosphere and always some good music playing too! 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone!

    Always a great haircut! Ive always been terrified about trying new places because I either have a horrible haircut, or the people that are good leave. But Ive been going to see Megan for almost 2 years now and she is 100% the very very best ever. I honestly dont go there enough, but she is happy Im there every time and she always gives me a GREAT haircut! I feel like they obviously treat their employees well because I always see the same people, and the Thunderbolts by their name means that they have been around for a while. Everybody is always in a good mood, joking around with each other, and you can tell that there is rarely tension. I dont know personally if its a great place to work, but I can definitely tell that the people that work there are happy to work there. I really cant recommend these people enough!

    Come here every 1-2 months for a Navy standard haircut! Use the Chop or Squire app to make my appointments with Jodi M. Shes great and quick. Upon scheduling, she is always available, does not go overtime, so you are being helped on time according to your schedule.Very Kind of them to offer drinks for free.Otherwise, I am very happy with my haircut here, and the easy access to make an appointment.

    First time every visiting a barbershop/salon with nothing but ladies, I must say I was impressed! The ladies show hospitality from the time you walk in to the time you leave. I was offered complimentary drinks periodically throughout the entire visit. Stylist Jordan was who I had an I must say she delivered what I wanted.     I love Chop. My husband and I have been going here for since October 2020 and we wouldnt think of going any place else. We have seen a handful for people, who we all love. I usually see Megan who always hooks it up with my fashion mullet and has my bangs down to an art form (i have a massive cowlick up front) When I was rocking a pixie I would see Jodie!My husband usually goes to Shae for hair cut and beard trims.Chop has become like family to us, my husband came here before our wedding with his Dad for beard clean up and hair style. They eagerly waited for our weddings photos.This shop is full of the most talented and kind people. Its so welcoming and fun. 10/10

    Can not recommend this place enough! My first time sold me on a forever customer, as long as Im around. Heather was my stylist, and she was incredible nice, sweet, and overall a good vibe. She even tackled my hard to handle cowlick on the side of my fade, something competiitors always fail to do. The place feels extremly relaxed, and homey. Think of a cross between a calm bar, and a tattoo shop. Good energy, good people, and great stylist all around!

    Chop Barbershop is a great place to get your haircut or beard trim. I go to Savannah each visit and she is fantastic, but the other barbers are skilled as well. They also offer a wide variety of hair and beard products along with a complementary beer during your cut. I highly recommend the Chop!

    This was the BEST experience I’ve ever had getting my hair cut. Shae made sure to quell left over fears from a bad cut I had from another place, and walked me through her whole process. She’s an absolute artist with those hands and you’d do yourself a favor trusting your hair in her hands. I cannot wait to go back and see what else she’ll be able to do!

    YAAALLLLLLLL, this place is the best. All the barbers and stylists are so friendly, but let me tell you about Bree! She has no fear when it comes to trying new stuff. I told her I wanted a faded Mohawk mullet combo and she said “I got you” and it’s my favorite haircut ever. Plus when you sit in Bree’s chair it’s always a fun time, but don’t laugh too hard at her jokes cause she is cutting your hair lol 😂

    Ive been going here for about a year now and Bree has been my go-to every time! I have always walked out with a smile on my face and she does a fantastic job. I went for a mullet at one point and she did a killer job! Im one of those guys who are always disappointed with my haircut, Ill tell them what I want, theyll agree then do whatever they want, Ill thank them/ tip them and never return.     This is my 3rd visit here and had a new person each time as I come in as a walk in. Each time the girl cutting my hair has done excellent and I left very pleased with the work they do.     Love it here! Prices are reasonable. Shae is a true treasure. She is skilled, sweet and very patient with my son. We’ve never been cut by the other girls, but they still greet us by name!     Shae is one of the best hairdressers and Ive been looking for her for awhile after she left her old location.Finally got back in touch with her and I was so happy.     I just want to say that I am ecstatic that there is finally a great Barber in the Riverside Avenue area. I moved here in February from Clearwater and have struggled to find a quality haircut after having gone to the same few barbers for years. I went to Chop today and got a great cut by Marquis, who I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a fresh fade and excellent service. Chop seems to have the barbershop atmosphere down to a science and the fact that they are open 7 days a week is icing on the cake. Booking online is better than easy and prices are slightly less than other shops in the downtown area.

Stylist then rushed my girlfriends and my cuts to make sure she could get a regular into her schedule. Did a very poor job of duplicating a previous haircut which I had the length for and several reference photos. Failed to cut with consideration to cow licks and bald spots on my head. Honestly completely fricked my head up.I would like to rate this stylist 2-3 stars. But the overall atmosphere there was great and I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt

    I went to CHOP and saw Marquis. I gave very little input on what I wanted other than keeping it long. He and two other stylists took the time to talk through what I already had going on and came up with a style that worked. As a bonus, had my hair tossled by 3 people to get the style set. Grade A tossling. Go by and see them and see what they can do for you!

    Got me in, got me out. Gave me the exact cut that I wanted. Surprisingly enough, it is a hard task to find a good barber. It took me quite a while to find one, but I definitely found one. I will definitely be back.
