    I had an excellent experience at Cultivate Salon! Alexus was my stylist and she did an absolutely amazing job. She worked with me on choosing a hair cut and style that I not only love the look of, but also fit within my lifestyle and abilities to style at home. I had a significant amount of bleach damage and she also worked with me on repairing the damage and now it’s barely noticeable. She gave me great recommendations for how to take better care of my hair at home and which products would work best with my hair. I had never really had a hairstylist do that with me before and now I’m significantly more confident in my ability to style my hair at home. Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely be going back to Alexus at Cultivate for all my hair needs!

    Love, love, love Jamie and the Cultivate team!I love coming to the Cultivate Salon.Jamie Long, salon owner and Aveda expert, has reinvented the salon experience from one that can be somewhat stressful and daunting to one that is indulgent and nurturing not only for your hair. She has created an oasis of the mind and spirit as well. From the moment you walk in, aside from taking in the beauty of the salon itself which reminds one of a tropical resort with its lush beautiful plants and soothing atmosphere, you are warmly greeted as if all were waiting just for you to arrive. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The vibe is casual and relaxed.Jamie Long, has been “my girl” for almost two decades. She sets the bar extremely high with her extensive knowledge and extraordinary skills. I truly appreciate her passion and love for her profession as it is evident in all she does. Jamie has kept my hair healthy through the ups and downs and different seasons of life and I am forever grateful.

    The most awesome haircut I’ve ever received. I’ve never had this experience with a haircut before. Head and hand massage during my shampoo. Stylist asked my preference and took time to explain what she was doing during my whole experience. I’ve never felt more pampered!!! Would highly recommend Ja for a relaxing, enjoyable hair experience. A wonderful gift for yourself or a loved one!

    Got my hair done by Alexus. We did some highlights & a cut. I’m so happy with the results & this was the most relaxing hair experience I’ve had. She’s very knowledgeable & made me feel comfortable. The salon is super cute & has its own parking lot. Highly recommend booking with Alexus. Will be back soon!

    It was my first time there, thank God they were able to have me the same day I called to make the appointment. They were very flexible on finding a time for me to go. Ja took care of me for a hair cut and styling, she was very kind and mindful of what I was looking for in a hair cut and how I would like my hair to be styled. She also offered a scalp and hand massage which was very relaxing. She was very professional and I loved the final result. Will be coming back soon!

    My first experience here was great! I saw Ja, and she was amazing. Ja took the time to listen to my ideas, gave me valuable feedback & was very professional! Top tier customer service.     Ive been seeing Melissa for ages, through many changes in life, and even more changes with my hair. Her expertise is unmatched, hands down. Shes rocked fashion colors and wild styles, to more conservative cuts and a happy medium of them all. There is ALWAYS an above and beyond element to the care you get not only from Melissa, but from the salon staff as a whole.Todays appointment was unique, as I am having surgery soon, and they went further than above and beyond today with extra attention during the scalp and neck massages, extra washings of my hair to get me ready, hand massages, and even some slight alterations to my usual cut to make it easier for me post-op. Add to that, Melissa put me in contact with a massage therapist who would come to my place before the surgery.If there were more than five stars, they would have earned every single one during todays visit alone... nevermind the years of impeccable service, kindness and laughter that proceeded it. ❤️❤️❤️

    I went to this salon for the first time today and will definitely be back.You can tell the stylists truly enjoy working together and it adds to the relaxing atmosphere.     Lindsey S. is the best! She only does weekends but she will take me at 5pm on a Friday when my hair takes 3 hours! I get compliments on my color but also my haircut ALL THE TIME! Love the cute little salon, and they have parking for customers so you don’t have to find San Marco street parking! They also have water and snacks!

    Got my hair done by alexus, and she did a great job! came in late to accommodate my schedule and took her time. i got a balayage and it turned out amazing! i have curly hair, and she recommended a treatment to not damage the curls, and it worked so well. she’s the best, definitely book with her!!!!

    Jamie is a true hair artist! I’ve been searching for my new person since moving into the area. I have thick, curly hair. Many people either don’t understand my hair or are overwhelmed by it. Jamie was neither. She listened and worked hard. For the first time (in a long time), I walked away feeling happy and ‘pretty’.

    Today was my third visit and Im quite happy with my hair style. On my first visit, I had an awful cut from another salon but they worked with it and made it better. The salon is very comfortable and peaceful. Im planning on having hair coloring there as well. Melissa is very easy to work with and definitely knows that shes doing. Im all theirs.

    I almost never have left the salon happy with my hair. Lennon at Cultivate was so awesome. I arrived late due to a GPS error and they were so nice about it. They were gentle with my hair so much so I almost passed out while getting my hair washed. This is the first time in a year Ive explained what I wanted to a stylist and actually got exactly what I wanted. To say Im happy is an understatement:)

    Where do I begin? I love Cultivate Salon. The staff is welcoming and kind. I havent felt this way about an establishment in a VERY long time. My stylist is Lennon, not only does she hear what you say but she sees what you say and as a stylist, it is very refreshing that she always has helpful reccomendations when it comes to style and hair care. She is my Hairapist if you will. 10/10 would reccomend.

    I love Lindsey so much - she really understands my curly hair and texture , she is great at listening and taking her time at doing a thorough job and is a wonderful person in general. I always have a great experience with her and leave feeling that my hair has life again. Creating exceptional styles that are above and beyond.After a devastating cancer diagnosis last March, Lindsey’s compassion and thoughtful suggestions helped me cope with the significant thinning of my previously abundant hair.Recently requesting a new look to celebrate regrowth and healing, I’m still wearing the smile reflected in the salon’s mirror…an edgy asymmetrical cut. I’m falling in love again with my hair and life.P.S. My 85 year old mother is now a delighted client, too.     Lennon worked magic on my hair! I had received a bad haircut at another salon 2 months prior and she was able to transform my hair into the CUTEST FREAKING LAYERED BOB.     Amazing salon! Clean, cute, and warm atmosphere. I love the online system and new app they use to book appointments. Their system is easy to use, detailed, and allows for the client to leave a note for their upcoming appointment. I go to Lennon and she is amazing! The second I arrived she was friendly and professional. Lennon walked me through the process and her style since it was my first time at the salon. Lennon had studied my notes for my appointment and was so prepared for what I wanted for my hair. Lennon was thorough with listening to me and discussing what I wanted. I am so lucky to be a client with this team! I chose this salon because my boss goes here and said it’s the only place she goes and recommends! I’m new to the area and like using a salon nearby.     I think its about time I write a review. Some people say I go above and beyond and sometimes out of the way to find services I need but hey its the truth. Finding a hair salon thats right for your needs can be hard especially if youre new to an area. I researched and picked 6 salons to do a free consultation for what I wanted. During the consultations, I would observed the environment, interactions with the present clients and products displayed available to used or purchase. -----Anyways Cultivate Hair Salon was among the 6 and I immediately was drawn to Jaimes fun personality. She explained what options she could do to overcome my self made disaster 😂. She also explained why she chose the options given. Her techniques were not harsh as the other salons had suggested. By the way Cultivate Hair Salon uses Aveda products which have always been cruelty free and, starting in 2021, are 100% vegan.Opening a salon in the middle of a pandemic can be nerve-racking Im sure, but the way the team have handled themselves is impeccable! The girls are always fun and seems like family and each client is treated the same way!The salon is exceptionally clean and has cute 😍 boutique style interior. You can tell each decors shows Jaimes fun, spontaneous character.Now that Jaime has done such an unbelievable exceptional job on my hair I have to maintain it and the good lord knows I suck at maintenance. Fast forward two month ( yes my hair grows fast,Im sure they didnt believe me 🤣) I did touch up with Lennon. Let me tell you she did an AMAZING job 👏 🙌 ❤️ ❤️. I still have fabulous hair thanks to the Cultivate team! I can safely say Ive found my salon and its the best choice Ive made!

    Theres nothing better than getting a haircut The Falls perfectly with little to no effort. I have very thick long hair and Danielle took the time to take off some weight , add tons of long layers and stylish curtain bangs. She did a fantastic job. she knows what shes doing!     Jaime is amazing. She taught me how to actually do my own hair. She instructed me on how to hold the brush while blow drying and explained everything in simple terms. The color I got was perfect.     Jamie is amazing! She has helped me to transition from a few decades of coloring and highlights, lowlights to my natural gray. She is so knowledgeable, very personable, and has such a genuine caring nature. I have a lot of thick curly hair that she has tamed with her precision cut. Not only is her skill with styling superb, but she also is an excellent teacher, showing/teaching you to be able to recreate the styled look at home. I am so thankful that I found her!

    This is an exceptional salon in the Jax area! The only reason I no longer go here is because we moved across the state. I’ve had my long/thick hair cut and partial/full highlights done by Jaime a few times. She’s a very experienced stylist, incredibly knowledgeable, and an exceptional business owner. You’re paying more at an Aveda salon, but the experience and quality of cut/color is worth it, plus they add in luxury touches like scalp and hand massages during the shampoo.     Melissa was fantastic! She taught my younger brother how to properly take care of his hair and was patient, kind and took the time to ask questions and learn what he wanted even though he is a quiet kid.

    I only use Aveda salons for my hair care needs and was hoping to find a great salon after I moved to Jacksonville from out of state. I stumbled upon Cultivate, booked an appointment with Erica and was not disappointed! I had a comprehensive initial consultation during which she listened to my concerns, demonstrated her knowledge of cut and coloring techniques, and made suggestions….and I walked out with the best cut and highlights I have had in some time! Erica now has a new long time client 😀
