    Carmela did a wonderful job on fixing the mess I had from previous hairdresser. My color looks fabulous, looks natural and she did an awesome job on my haircut too! Definitely my go to for hair from now on.

    Beautiful hair color and cut! I am so happy with the results of my 1st visit to this salon. Carmela really listened to me and had the expertise to get great results with my color. It was exactly what I wanted! She also gave me a great precision cut. This is a friendly, laid back salon and I highly recommend their services. The hair color is from Italy and it is gorgeous!

    Above and beyond satisfied...from the initial phone call when I made my appointment with one of the owners, Tony, to the beautiful low lights and cut, with attention to detail from my hair stylist, Carmella. Initially when I called, it was more than refreshing to have the phone answered and not sent to voice mail. Tony took the time to ask questions about my hair texture, if I was growing out highlights or needed to update color. With his recommendation he was able to schedule me appropriately. Carmella and I talked about what I was hoping to achieve with my salon visit. She is a great listener, and creates a beautiful version of her clients. I never felt rushed, and their warm, friendly, conversation was appreciated. I am happy to say I will definitely be making another appointment. It is very apparent Hair & Color Specialists love what they do!

    AMAZING! Ive never dyed my hair before and I was so nervous after my terrible past experiences with trying something new at a new salon but I am unbelievably pleased and so happy with the service, Carmela and her husband are the most adorable couple! They have so many years of experience and anyone who comes here is in great hands! Im sad that I found such an amazing salon and now Im moving :( but my hair came out so beautiful I cant stop looking at myself in the mirror my hair has gotten so many compliments! I cant thank Carmela enough !

    I have been a client for about 18 years, and absolutely love everything about this Salon. Tony and Carmela, the owners, are amazing and incredibly talented. I have very thick hair which requires extra time and patience. I am also very particular about my hair and wear it straight, naturally curly or loosely curled, and I always leave with a perfect cut to allow me to do it all. Whenever I want to consider something different, cut or color, they always spend time with me discussing and provide honest feedback. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else!

    I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tony and Carmela and the amazing work they do at this salon! After having an at home dye catastrophe they were able to take me in right away, Carmela discussed several options with me and not only fixed the problem, but has my hair looking better than it ever has. She is truly a gem and I am so thankful for her! If you are looking to have your hair done by true experts in the field, this is the place for you. They have been in business for over 30 years for good reason. From the edgy cuts that Tony gave me as a teenager 30 years ago to the more traditional styles, they can do it all.

    I just had my hair cut and colored by Betty and I absolutely love it! She did a phenomenal job. I am so happy with it. And Betty went out of her way to fit me into her schedule, which I truly appreciated. At Hair and Color Specialists Tony and Carmella make sure everyone feels at home and love their hair. They run a great salon. I highly recommend them.

    I have been going to this hair salon for over 15 years. Tony and Carmela are top notch hair stylists. I had all kinds of problems finding a good hairstylist until I found Tony and Carmela. They are wonderful!!! They really know how to color and style hair. I have never been disappointed. They always do a great job on my hair. So if youre having trouble finding a good hairstylist you should check them out. Youll be glad you did.

    Excellent salon!! Just moved to town and needed a new salon. I read reviews and thought I would give it a try. So glad I did. Carmela did a wonderful job on my haircut and highlights. She listened to what I wanted and created a beautiful new haircut. Her attention to detail is admired. highlights are very complimentary. Not overprocessed, which is a plus for someone with fine hair. Highly recommend!!!

    I had used another salon to have my hair cut and colored before finding Hair & Color Specialists .The salon I used before did a really bad job at coloring my hair, it came out way too dark. I’m so glad I found Carmela. She listened to what I wanted and made me feel at ease with what she could do to help lighten my hair up. We decided on highlights that turned out beautifully and really helped my hair look much lighter. I would absolutely recommend Hair & Color Specialists. .

    The owners Tony and Carmela are very nice people who make you feel like family. Betty is my stylist. We spent the last few years growing my hair out from a highlighted, short, spiked style to a darker, layered, shoulder-length cut and it looks beautiful. At times I was tempted to try something artsy with colors but thats not really their thing...theyre dedicated to healthy hair and they really know how to make it shine! Betty has my husband and two teenage boys (one long- the other short-haired) looking good too, she does a great job on their cuts.

    Just moved to Mandarin recently and was dreading finding a new hair stylist. My husband, of all people, walked into this salon and brought home their card. I called and talked with Tony and made an appointment with Carmela. This is the best haircut Ive had in 5 years! She understood exactly what my head/hair issues are and did the most professional style Ive had in years. Difficult curly hair in humid climate. (And its holding up well for me, too, Carmela.) Now thats a talented stylist!

    I have been seeing Betty for over five years. She helped me love my long layered and colored hair. Recently when I decided I wanted to cut my hair short and let the gray come in, she was AMAZING. She gave me a pixie cut and I absolutely love it. The owners of this business and other stylists are ALWAYS loving and friendly. I will never go anywhere else.

    I showed up at the salon a hot mess after a home highlight job went disastrous, Carmela took the time to assess the damage right then and then made time for me the same day to fix my mess before my flight out of town the following day. She is truly an angel and a miracle worker. My hair looks great and feels better than it has in a couple of years! I wont go Anywhere else again! She had three colors to fix and she truly knows what she is doing with color. Amazing 👏

    Today was my first visit with Carmela who gave me a great cut and consultation on hair color. I’ve gone to 4 different salons in the past two years without being satisfied. I think I have finally found a hair “home”. What a relief!

    Ive been a client for 17 years and feel that says a lot when considering a salon. Ive been styled by Tony, Carmela and now Betty. They are all very good at their profession and bring confidence and care to the table when working with you. Having to sit for hours isnt the easiest thing to do, as you probably know, so being in a pleasant space with wonderful, kind and friendly professionals around you make it so much easier!

    Carmella has been coloring my hair for years. She is amazing! My hair color is always phenomenal and she is a true artist with hair color. I highly recommend Carmella if you want a professional who knows what they are doing!

    This place is outstanding! Professional - knowledgeable - and the staff is so caring! I have come to love and trust all of the stylists here! Many years ago I had another hair dresser do me wrong and I was afraid for years! Then I found Hair and Color. Tony and his girls are so good. Every time I go there, I leave looking and feeling fabulous! I wish I could give them 10 stars!! Come! You won’t regret it! They will be your hair stylists forever, too!

    I just happened to wander in finally ready to get my hair cut after 2 yrs of just putting it in a bun. Carmella was awesome! I didnt even really know what to tell her to do. She just kind of knew and it was perfect. Worth every penny.
