    Karen met me with a warm smile and set the tone for an awesome experience. She and I hit it off immediately with a very comfortable chat. My desire for style was her top priority. Her next priority was how comfortable I felt while in her chair. I have never been one to ask for a stylist after the way she made me look and feel that all changed tonight. Next time ask for Karen you will thank me.

    My son wanted to try a different place than where we were getting his hair cut before and its one of the best calls the little guys ever made because we lucked out and met Darcy. She gave him the best haircut hes ever had and I can see how much he loves it as it is reflected in his self esteem and on top of that he really likes her and he doesnt like a Lotta people (hes a tough crowd for most). My daughter and I have a consultation with her today and my daughters hair is kinda complicated because she has trichotillomania so Ive been looking for a hairdresser who has the patience and understanding to help us and Im so relieved to have finally found someone who I think does. I really hope this hair cuttery recognizes the gem they have in Darcy :)

    I havnt been to a hair salon in over 10 years because Ive always been disappointed, but I came here as my hair was out of control.I thank Paige for helping me out so dearly because I have a really hard time describing what I want but she didnt go overboard and saw the issues I was describing and fixed it up nice. I certainly recommend her at this location.

    Hair Cuttery on Normandy has been my go to place for hair appointments the past 3 years. Kimberly did Highlights on my hair today and I knew I could count on Kimberly to give me the results I wanted and she delivered! Thank you Kimberly! she did a fenomenal job! I recommend her as she has the right experience.

    Miss Karen (Hair Cuttery on Publix at Normandy Crossing) is absolutely amazing!! I went in with a hair crisis & came out feeling so good about myself. My hair was really unhealthy looking & had lost quite a bit of it due to stress, so I needed a cute hairstyle I could start over with. I had a picture I was going to show Ms. Karen, however, my phone died as soon as I got to the salon (long day at work lol). I simply explained what I was looking for & allowed room for her to work her magic. She took her time & made sure, not only, to cut it how I wanted, but also cut my hair to MY face shape, ensuring that it suited me in the best possible way.     ***Updated Review***Ive been coming here for a year and the team is the absolute best! I feel as though my confidence has come back from getting my hair done at this amazing place! I refuse to go anywhere else to get my hair cut. Thank you!Kimberly did my hair two weeks ago and I was nervous at first because I had highlights done recently and I needed a trim, due to not having one since February, but she managed to dodge, and not cut, any of my highlights and gave me the perfect trim. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Theyre the best and Im always in there for any of my trims or highlights. Theyre all very polite and listen to every word you say to make sure they are giving you exactly what you want.

    I absolutely LOVE my haircut. I took a gamble and landed in the chair of Darcy A and I couldn’t be happier!!! I’ve been searching for the right stylist for this hairstyle and I finally found them!!! Thank you so much Darcy!!! I super glad I found you!!     Was on vacation and needed a hair cut. I easily booked an appt at 9:30 the night before and went in the following day at 2:00. Kimberly gave me a great pixie hair cut. My only regret is that I cant have her regularly.

    Whole staff is kind and welcoming. I had Karen cut my hair and she did amazingly. She was attentive and knowledgeable about the cut I wanted and even asked me how I would wear out, at work, usually ( I didnt think about but it was beneficial!) Thanks again for a great haircut!

    Came in for a wash, blow dry, flat iron and trim. The lady doing my hair didnt feel comfortable getting close to my edges while flat ironing, so another stylist agreed to do it. I was pleased that shed didnt make a big deal about it. In the end my hair came out great!

    My hair has always been more than a challenge due to its very fine texture and I was pretty spooked about getting a perm, but decided to bite the bullet. Karen listened attentively to my concerns and desires, and then approached every detail with care and a personal interest in making me feel better about my decision. Every rod placed on my head was executed with mindful awareness of my apprehensions, and her insight and attention to every detail about perms and fine hair was calming, and made me feel more at ease.Karen gave me the body and volume I was looking for.     Been going for over 17 yrs. Fair price for length of original hair. Wash, cut and blowdry. Minimal wait, clean, good work. Hair sylist friendly and did her work. Phones answered quickly. Guests greeted and scheduled. Chairs hard but the goal is not to be in them long waiting to be called. I like my hair cut and will be back as needed. Overall good location and kind staff. I hope they open a location by the new Publix on Chaffee and Normandy because I hate that traffic by 295. Yes, I would give this branch and team a good review.

    Everyone Ive encountered here has been super nice and very professional. Brett is my personal favorite, and he has a wonderful attitude. Ive never been disappointed with the haircut I get, and the tea tree massage shampoo is heavenly! I highly recommend this location.

    Miss Pam went above and beyond the valued services and skill set that I’ve come to expect from this business, I’ve never had a bad experience but this haircut is by far one of the best ever given from any stylist of this location. The store is always very clean, orderly, there’s just a buzz of happiness and people truly enjoying their work once you walk inside. Thank you miss Pam!!!     Got my hair done by Gracyn and she did an amazing job with the blow out. Other places leave my hair a little damp at the scalp all the time but finally I have someone that did excellent work in having my hair completely dry. When added an anti frizz as well and left my hair nice and shiny.

    Best Shampoo and Haircut hands down. I have been going to this hair Cuttery for some time . I chose to call and make my appointment for who was available next and Thankfully Samuel was no let down.     Melissa was phenomenal!She was very receptive to my needs and made me feel super comfortable. Came in for a full service (color, cut, treatment, style). I have naturally curly hair, but I wear it straight about half the time. She made sure to give me a color layout that would look good both ways. She was careful not to cut too much to ensure my hair will still look good curly as well. My hair color came out a tad lighter than I initially desired, but it’s okay because the final loon is amazing! Highly recommend Melissa!! I’ll definitely go back when I’m ready for another change.

    Read reviews and, on 3.12.2024, I took a chance by booking an appointment with Sam at Hair Cuttery on Normandy next to Publix and, OMG... I think this mayve been THE BEST haircut I have ever had. Sam said hes been a hair stylist for 30-40 years and his experience definitely shows. Thank you, Sam. I will be back. :-)

    April brought my hair idea to life! I went in for highlights. She was concerned for my hair getting damaged and she did a strand test first and explained what the outcome could be on my highlights but that she could Color correct with a toner to bring it as close as possible to what I wanted.     I have been looking shabby lately and was in need of a haircut. I received a recommendation for Karen, a hairstylist in this particular Hair Cuttery. I decided to give her a try and so I went online to book an appointment. The company website was easy to use and it gave me the option of selecting the time and the hairstylist. I entered the salon about five minutes early and Karen, the hairstylist I had scheduled my appointment with, was working at the front desk and greeted me warmly. She took me immediately to her chair and gave me a great buzzcut. I do not have much hair to cut but she did a great job ensuring that everything was completed to my satisfaction, incluing a nice trim of my eyebrows. We had a very enjoyable chat as she cut my hair and it was fun to get to know her. I will definitely schedule my future haircut appointments with Karen and recommend her to anyone in need of a good hairstylist.

    Debra is amazing. She cares, really cares and the cut I was given nothing short of epic! Ive never ever had an experience like this.     I had a young lady named Tamara as my beauty technician or hair stylist at the hair Cuttery she was amazing. She was very well knowledge and what she was doing I felt very comfortable to allow her to cut off more hair than I was wanting to because I trusted her knowledge and what she was telling me I also got a great deal on some redken shampoo and conditioner products that were on sale two for $35 yall better hop on it theyre usually $50 and theyre absolutely right there I also got my eyebrows done I had my hair washed condition treated trimmed blow dried and styles she also wax my eyebrows and also gave me wonderful advice on what products to buy on the sale items which was the redken the best you can get she was saying thats what she used on my hair initially , she swore that it was the very best and I truly believe that so I walked out for a little over $60 getting all that treatment and products and made an appointment for my home for 15 minutes after I made the phone call I rushed over their way to maybe 5 minutes.. get over there and get some redken products yall they have a lot of different brands on sale two for $35 you can get two of anything whether it be moose or hairspray shampoo or conditioner you can mix and match and theyre normally $50 for two my name is Lisa snow and tell my fav. Girl, Tamara Lisa Snow sent yall for hair products!!

    The salon looked clean and fresh. Paige, my stylist, was awesome.I only have two suggestions regarding entering and exiting...Ive been many other places where no matter whose client you are, all are welcoming. It was very matter of fact Do you have an appt. Take a,seat. Plus in using the credit card, the lowest tip suggestion was 20%! Of course Paige told me I could tap other but again, it isnt the most cordial exiting policy.

    I went in to this salon being a brand new client and was greeted by Taylor. Taylor did a beautiful job on my hair I cannot tell you how happy I am. The cut is perfect and the color she did is fantastic. She discussed different options with me and made sure I was completely comfortable with the decision. She did exactly what I asked of her and was very friendly and welcoming. I have never cared about my hair and go to any random salon, but after the great job she did I believe she has a new regular!     Karen is the best here, the sweetest woman and really takes so much care to make sure the final result is perfect. She gave me great advice for getting better use out of the products I already have and wasnt overly pushy just trying to throw products at you just for the sale. I ended up getting the product she recommended most which was another part of the olaplex line that I had been using [apparently improperly oops! 😅😭] at home already. I felt so taken care of and heard throughout the entire appointment. She explained what she was doing through the cutting process and saved as much length as she could while still shearing off some of the breakage Im currently in the process of growing out. I asked for a subtle Bob with a shaggy sort of bang and showed her 1 example photo, she absolutely nailed it! I took her card and I will definitely be seeing her again. 💕

    Kimberly is amazing! I only ever write reviews if I have an incredibly great or terrible experience. She went above and beyond. I gave a picture and asked her to do whatever she thought would look best. I could not be happier with the result. She was very knowledgeable about the products and didnt pressure me into purchasing anything. Her customer service was the best. She even offered to go get me food!     Great haircut at a reasonable price! My stylist of 15 + years retired a couple of months ago so I was looking for a new salon/stylist for my short, thick hair. Brett to the rescue!     Gave me daughter the best hair cut of her life. she was totally scared but left overjoyed! paid with a gift card. my hair dresser told me it was empty and said she would throw it away for me. I was told there was more money on the card so I kept it. and sure enough I can get another hair cut with it. thats my only complaint. dont know how u get that one wrong. never got a receipt.

    Yall my 2 year old threw a huge fit the entire time he was getting his hair cut. This lady I dont know her name but Im so pleased with her services. She was phenomenal!! She worked around all the screams, arms flailing, feet kicking, I was ready to just leave I was so embarrassed and she said its fine, hes fine and continued to cut his hair with a smile on her face. Im so thankful for her. She has the first chair on the left next to the shampoo shelf. We were there a month ago. Its time for another hair cut but I dont want to put anyone through his craziness again lol. If you have a child I suggest going here she was amazing and I cant thank her enough!

    My Fiance goes here to get his hair cut and his beard trimmed. He always looks great .. and then for me. I usually cut it myself to the best of my ability because i have had such bad experiences in the past. But I finally decided to go back and try again.. Thats when I found Sally..I LOVE HER! I usually refrain from haircuts and styles because I go in with a dream and come out trying to wake myself from a nightmare.. I am sure most women can relate .. To going in and asking for a particular style cut or color.. and then after sitting there for what feels like half the day, maybe sometimes it is.. walking out trying to hold back tears.... Not here and certainly not with her.. She is truly gifted I think.. It is hard to put a price on someone when they can give you EXACTLY what you want. And her personality is AMAZING! A lot of times in these salons, I feel uncomfortable. Like Im not good enough .... I am sure it is a lot of my own issues but most of us have them... but here, everyone here is so friendly .. They include you in on their conversations.. They do not shut you out or give you the stink eye lol.. The 1st time I went, I met Sally. I had spent quite a bit of time trying to find the right cut and or style that I wanted. She spent two hours on my hair, When I left I felt pretty for once in a very long time.. I went back after almost 5 months and she cut and styled my hair again,, Still very very happy.. I only wish my mother could have met her.. My mother is one of those ladies with a do and after conversing with Sally for a while I Discovered that I believe she knows all about teasing.. those styles.. dos that ladies had in the 60s and so on.. My mother had a stylist that she had been going to for a very long time but she always came home from the salon unhappy and went straight to her room to adjust and redo her do. So with all that being said.. At this point in time.. I def recommend the ladies and gentlemen (dont get me started on him.. He is GREAT too! and refuses to be taken down by a above ground pool lol) at the Hair Cuttery off of Normandy blvd.. Good people that know what they are doing ..
