I love everything about Haute Headz and my stylist Neil. Christine is at the front desk and always has a smile to greet people. It is energetic and fun but NOT loud and noisey. Im 67 and look forward to my day of beauty. There are many services that I look forward to trying. Just to keep us informed, they text to remind you of your appointment. To confirm, easy peasy, just respond with YES to confirm. Now, the practical stuff. They are in a strip mall plaza that has lots of parking, including universal access. Bathrooms are universal access,too. Maneuvering inside the shop is very easy. Well worth the experience!!

Ive been going to Melissa for quite some time, and she is the best! My gray was changing so I wanted her to tweak it for me. She added some silver lowlights and gave me a layered cut and I just LOVE it! Ive had so many compliments on my hair since Ive been seeing her but even more after I had this done. Melissa will listen to any concern you may have, and she informs you as she goes. I might add that the day I went into the salon happened to be the day they lost their electricity! They had ZERO lights, but she just went about business as usual and did my low lights while someone else held the phone flashlight!! :) She was still able to get these results and I am very happy with them. You will be happy with Melissa too if you give her a chance to work her magic!

This salon is conveniently located on San Jose in mandarin. It is close by a dry cleaner and a few good places to eat (which can make your time at the salon more bearable if you get hangry). They offer a multitude of services so it can become your one stop shop, so to speak. So let me tell you… The absolute MAGIC that Tiffany Vazquez worked on my head of hair was unreal! I started off with an unintentional “Billie Eilish” look with purple roots and black ends(Don’t dye your hair at home kids, leave that to the professionals). By the end of my service I had beautiful all over color with caramel highlights throughout. She also did a fresh cut which was much needed. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Jen has been doing my hair for over 15 years. It’s been several different colors and styles over the years. She listens and helps me understand what is best for my hair and style. The Brazilian Blowout was worth the extra time and it really made a difference with Florida humidity. Jennifer and her staff at Haute Headz are welcoming and professional. My stylist was Melissa, and she did an amazing job! Many of her other reviews raved about her attention to detail, and i was not at all disappointed. She sat and intently listened to me attempt to explain what I wanted, and she took her time making it happen. I have fine curly hair, and I’ve never had someone explain how they were cutting my hair and how it would benefit me in the long run. She guided me through the entire experience and I will 100% be a regular client in her chair- heavily recommend!

I had Microneedling with Nichole Johnson who was amazing! One of the best marketing treatments I’ve ever had I struggle with acne scars and a scar from a surgery from when I was young and she help break up the scar tissue Which gave me amazing results. The first time I ever went to Haute Headz was back in April. Emily was the stylist that was working on my hair. I told her I wanted a reverse balayage. It was a complete disaster. It looked like she just put a bowl on my head and went in a circle and made the top brown and the bottom blonde. I went back a few days later and let her “fix it”. When I went back Amanda (the salon manager) helped her fix my hair and at that point I did a full foil because I realized EMILY could NOT do what I wanted. Every time I went back to Emily there was something Wrong and Amanda had to help her fix it. I told her that I do NOT want my hair to look yellow or to have an ashy tone and every single time I went to her that’s what she did. She rushed on my hair and it showed! (MyFault For going back to her multiple times)Recently I went back to to get my hair done and I found out that Emily no longer works there so I was going to be Amanda’s client now. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!!! She did my reverse balayage and gave me a money piece in the front! I finally had my hair looking the way I wanted it too! Plus she gave me the best haircut I have had In like 3 years!If you need an amazing stylist then Amanda is definitely your girl!I will say the salon will make sure you are satisfied with you experience and will do whatever they can fix a situation. I am greatful for Jenn (the owner) and Amanda (the salon manager) for always fixing my hair when it needed to be fixed.

Haute Headz is a great place for a haircut. Melissa cuts my entire families hair and we absolutely love her. Everyone there is super friendly and inviting. Plus they provide all sorts of services such as manicure, pedicure, etc. I can say with complete honesty that I find it difficult to find someone/someplace that I feel good chemistry with respect to this type of service. I grew up in a family with a lot of hair stylists. So believe me when I say this place is a great place with great professionals.

Found this little gem tucked away in a shopping plaza across from Ace Hardware on Old St Augustine Road. Its a huge salon, and the staff are amazing. They are talented and friendly. Maria did an amazing job understanding exactly how I wanted my hair to look and gave me a low maintenance cut I am extremely pleased with. Theybare a full service hair salon, and I will definitely be going back.

I had Nichole the (esthetician) and omg when I tell you my skin had amazing results, it is crazy. I had cystic acne that caused scarring and after her services my skin looks amazing. Not only is she interested in you at office but follows up and sends home instructions. I’m 67 and people compliment my skin constantly and say I look like I’m in my 50’s. My experience at Haute Headz was perfect as always...HH is one of my favorite places to go. Eric at the front desk is amazingly efficient and friendly and Ive never seen him in a bad mood. Skit, my stylist for 15 plus years is the best stylist ever and I feel she is my friend as we have shared so much about our personal lives during our times together. Having Skit do my hair is like spending an hour or so with a good friend. Plus she can take my baby fine wisps of hair and make it look decent and I have told her many times that she must live one day longer than I do because I could not live without here. The place is clean orderly perfectly run as there is never wait time. It is happy and cheery and I thank God I was referred to Skit 15 or so years ago because she has taken one less problem off my hands.

I had a Japanese hair straightening with Mary yesterday. 1. I have very long hair 2. I have had this done unsuccessfully at a different salon down in Palm Beach Gardens. 3. I have a LOT of hair.Mary is excellent! I had fun, the day long procedure is tedious but I had fun... wow. My hair looks amazing and is pin straight, shiny and exactly what I wanted!! This changes my life.. my hair is now easy to deal with once again. (Im really low maintenance..) I like to wash and go, in Florida, in humidity.. no more frizz until I get about 4 of new growth, then, only the new growth needs to be redone! Anyone who wants this... book a Japanese hair straightening with Mary!

Hairstylist Dania Pina was highly recommended to me by my hairstylist of five (5) years when she moved out of state. Dania Is the perfect match for me! Dania begins my appointment’s with a thorough consultation, did I like my highlights (Blonde), how is my hair performing, did I like the Truss Shampoo and Conditioner I purchased, did I like the way my hair felt, is there anything I want to change, etc.. My hair looks and feels healthy, and I’ve been able to go an entire week without washing my hair! I highly recommend Dania Pina if you’re looking for someone who truly cares about the health and integrity of your hair, and is willing to help you achieve your hair goals.

Love Mariah. I love her honesty, I made a huge mistake tried some other places. Had my hair a hot mess. Mariah took me back, thank God and has me so happy. She gave me a fantastic haircut. Has me looker younger and my face looking slimer. She made me look entirely different. I now love the style and color. I am so 😊. I learned my lesson stay with the one who has your best interest at ❤. Soooooooo Happy.
