Kaun was so friendly and professional. Her work is amazing. The process is long as it took 6 hours, but it’s definitely worth it!! Her service is reasonably priced too. Other places will charge you more. After three days I washed my hair & only blow dried my bangs and the roots of my hair for volume and let the rest air dry & all of it came out pin straight. My hair is the straightest it’s ever been. She bought me snacks from next door as I was waiting for my hair to finish and she interacted with me the whole process. Whenever I need my hair done again I will only be going to her. She did a pre treatment on my hair before the straightening process as my hair was damaged and had breakage from heat and dying it. My hair is back to being healthy again. If your hair needs treatment or if you want your hair permanently straight I definitely recommend going to her! I wouldn’t recommend anybody else. I’m very happy with my results. Kaun made me feel confident and happy again.I feel like a totally brand new person :)

I reached out to Kuan for a consultation on the Japanese Thermal Straightening service. What impressed me first was how she immediately addressed my hair needs. She recommended products and then instructed me on how and when to use them. I could immediately tell she cared about giving me the best results possible. She invested her knowledge and time to ensure I would be happy.Once I arrived for the actual service, she was very meticulous with everything she did. She did an amazing job, and I could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend her. She is also very engaging, which is great since you will be spending a lot of time with her if you get this service.One last thing I wanted to note is that she followed up with me a couple of times right after the service to make sure everything was going well. She definitely shows not only her experience and vast knowledge but also made me feel like she really cared. No one can ask for more than that. I highly recommend her and will definitely be back

Kuan is amazing - I definitely recommend her. I have very thick, corse hair that has gotten more unruly over the years. My hair was always up in a ponytail because I couldn’t do anything with it. Let me tell you, I have had many permanent straightening services in the past in a big city north of here. I can vouche to say this place is the best! 100% dedicated to making sure you are happy with your hair. The product is amazing and Kuan makes sure to provide you with tips to keep your hair looking great after you leave. If anyone is dealing with big hair, thick and curly always not sure what to do with it and never thinks you can have silky, smooth hair you can run a brush through and walk out the door, well....look no further. It doesnt cost a fortune! Look at the photos! They dont lie. As long as I live here in Jacksonville, I am a lifelong customer. Kuan even has clients come into town just to do their hair. She transformed my hair into something I love. If you are having any reservations, try it once. You wont be disappointed.Update on my hair since I had it straightened 2 months ago. Still straight. You have to make sure you use the proper shampoo and conditioner and to not color your hair out of a box. This is a chemical process and you have to make sure whatever you put on your hair is not going to ruin your investment. After my first wash, Kuan asked how my hair was. I have a section that is extremely wavy in the back center and actually had to go back and she redid that one section for free. This is how thorough she is. Came out perfect in the end. Kuan truly cares.

Kuan is the best for my perm Japanese straightening. She is fantastic! I have frizzy, stubborn hair hard to manage, and I have perm Japanese straightening almost every year. Kuan is the best I’ve ever had. After the perm, my hair looks straight, but more important, it looks natural - it’s not too smooth to stick on my head. My friends gave me very good words after I made the perm. Kuan is so patient when cutting my hair and making the perm. She is like an artist, pursuing something for beauty and perfection. She knows a lot on hair and also educated me on how to take care the hair and give enough nutrition to the hair. She also did the perm curl for my son - my son loves the new style. If you talk to her and listen to her, you will know that her heart is all about styling your hair and making you look great. The only thing that bothers me is - it’s not easy to make an appointment with her. I understand - She is busy. But don’t give up-she really deserves your patience. I will be back next year to have my perm again with her.

Ive done Japanese Hair Straightening (aka re-bonding or straight perm) before so I knew what to expect, but Kuan was beyond amazing. She was able to touch up my roots, tone my hair, and give me a great hair cut all in the same appointment. The investment was worth it! I knew how much it might cost from the previous times Ive done it and her price was comparable. I was excited to finally have nice hair that I could leave down without flat ironing. (I naturally have bushy, thick, coarse, unmanageable hair). During the consultation, she knew her stuff! She advised me on what shampoo to use and how to manage my hair pre- and post- treatment. She knew how long and the amount of product to use on my hair without breakage because she is experienced. Three washes later and it is still as fantastic as it was right after she did it. Final pic after 3 washes, I tied my hair all day that day, and it still falls nice and smooth when I take it down. After a shower, just air-dry and good to go!

Although I liked the results of my granddaughter and her mother, I still had some reservations about the process for my 10 year old. I finally agreed to get her hair done and I am so happy with the results! Ms. Kuan is very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. She answered all my questions and gave snacks to my daughter during the process. It took about 5-6 hours, but it was worth it. I came to Kuan with frizzy, dry, damaged hair from years of highlights. My hair was a “straight on top, curly/kinky/wavy on bottom” after having two babies. (Mothers know what I’m talking about!)
