Gina is the best! I love going to get my hair retied with her. She is professional and knows her stuff. She provides me a lot of education on how to properly take care of my sisterlocs. I haven’t had my locs for a year and keep going back and forth about how they look but after I leave Gina’s shop I have different attitude and love my locs. Gina is very inspiring.

Loc and Grow by Gina is awesome! I was hesitant on starting my locs journey in the beginning but after meeting with Gina I was excited and looking forward to the journey! Gina took her time to thoroughly explain the process to me and answered all of my questions. She made me feel as if she truly cared about my journey. When I’m traveling away from Jax I am always asked where did I get my hair done and I don’t hesitate to share her info. Almost two years later and she’s still as thorough as in the beginning. If I could give her ten stars I would! I highly recommend Loc and Grow by Gina.I’m also impressed with the ladies who work in the shop as well. True display of sistahood working together to make each other better.

I had microlocs installed and had a phenomenal experience. The atmosphere is calming, cleaning, friendly and relaxing! The consultation was very professional and any and all questions were covered during this session. All costs are explained and very reasonable. I felt like a family member in the presence of these ladies! Gina definitely knows her gift and is flourishing in it. I love, love, love Loc and Grow by Gina! Wonderful loctician!!

I am going on my second year with my sister locks, and I LOVE my loctician. Gina is a professional, period. She takes pride in her work and she has perfected her craft. I drive almost 2 hours one way, because she takes care of my hair with her skills and takes care of my soul with her positive energy. Had a consultation with Gina in February and she established my sisterlocks in May of 2020. Been seeing Gina every 4 to 5 weeks since for reties. I couldnt be happier with my choice of loctician!!! Gina is so sweet and so cool.....and she can work magic on locs. Gina wants your hair to look good, but more importantly she is VERY concerned about the health of your locs. Going to her shop for an appointment is like hanging out with your favorite cousin. The shop is pretty and comfortable, nice music playing that makes you want to sing along and always a good conversation Her shop is a whole vibe!!!!You want your locs healthy and looking good??? You want a professional loctician that respects your time?? HOLLER AT GINA!!!

I have always had a complex about loc’in my hair because of my hair texture, however layer by layer Gina makes me feel more comfortable about my crown. I waited a few weeks after my appointment with Gina to post this. I wanted to truly see how my hair responded to her work. I have fallen so in love with my micro locs. When I came to Gina I hadn’t had a retie in months due to covid. She cared for my hair from shampoo to the last loc to be retied. I absolutely love my hair now. Aside from the unmatched professionalism and knowledge of hair. Gina is such a beautiful person. Her energy flows throughout your appointment and it really makes the biggest difference. I booked my next appointment immediately after she finished because there was no way I wasn’t coming back.
