    My daughter and I absolutely love the staff and owner of Mac. Not only do we feel warm and loved when we go in, it is our most special mommy & daughter bonding time as they give my color and cut the same attention as my 9 year old daughter. Iā€™ve always utilized an Aveda salon in terms on matching my blonde until now. Itā€™s complementary and natural looking.     I have lived all over the country and had dozens of people cut and color my hair. What Maggie doesā€¦.. is ART. Brilliant colorist and cutter. Understands skin tone and face shape and how they respond to certain hues or framing. Iā€™ve occasionally paid up to $700 for a cut and color from those considered ā€œthe best in the cityā€ (Dallas, DC, Chicago) and Iā€™ve never had a better hair artist. Ever

    Iā€™ve been going here for years! Always satisfied. The whole team there is filled with absolute talent from hair cuts to makeup you name it that got it! Love this salon. Margaret the owner is a wonderful experienced lady in her line of work. The salon is really like a family and they make you part of it. Please check them out. If youā€™re worried about distance I tell you itā€™s worth it I drive 20 mins to get my hair done.

    I have been a client at MAC for over 15 years and I highly recommend this salon. I have had my hair done by each of the stylists at one time or another and all are talented, very friendly, and professional. My regular stylist, Amber, is amazing and extremely accommodating. The salon is absolutely gorgeous and so inviting. I look forward going there so much that I drive all the way into town from the beach twice a month to be pampered by the whole team.

    I have been seeing Amber for over four years now. I have never had a bad experience. She makes my hair visions come to life. She is the kind of hair stylist that becomes a friend. I have watched her family grow as she has watched mine. I have no complaints. The salon is always clean and the staff is friendly. I also love when the puppies are in the salon as the owner helps train service dogs and they also have a dog they rescued from a car accident. The staff is professional and always looking for ways to improve their craft.

    Iā€™ve been going to Mac for at least 20 years. My primary hair stylist is Margaret (the owner) but Iā€™ve been to Macy, Amber, Maggie, and Colin, and everyone is EXCELLENT. The vibe of the salon is very warm and welcoming. If a mistake is made (very rare - maybe 2x for me in 20 years) it is fixed immediately without hesitation. Everyoneā€™s work is fantastic and they are especially good with color. Prices are reasonable. Cannot recommend highly enough.

    - I love MAC Hair Studio - I have been an off and on returning client at MAC Hair Studio and not for any particular reason. After not having a haircut for over a year I went back and had the pleasure of getting to work with Macy. I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted, however, I can happily say I left the salon feeling very happy, beautiful and confident. Macy was kind, patient, and extremely skilled. I highly recommend Macy to anyone looking for a hairstylist. Also, I will now be returning to Macy for ALL my haircuts and styling needs. At the ripe age of 66 years old I will say that I have never found such a stellar hair colorist as Margaret @ MAC Studio in San Marco. She has her own way of doing what so many others try to do on my hairā€” over and over againā€”but she pulls it off in simplified fashion, and itā€™s just fabulous.     Colin is truly so much more than your everyday stylist, I donā€™t ever go in wanting anything but what he thinks my hair needs and heā€™s been so right every time- Iā€™m a professional dancer who trusts him with my image. Iā€™ve never been more comfortable in a salon and Iā€™ve never been more satisfied with my look- their stylists and colorists are educated and experienced and have that *extra* level of hair expertise.     Mac Hair Studio saved my wedding day! My tire blew on the highway on my way to the salon and made me an hour late to my two hour hair and makeup appointment. Not only were these women understanding and patient, they made me feel at ease and calmed me down from the time they answered my frantic call to when I left the salon. They hustled to get both my hair and makeup done in half the time and made me look absolutely stunning. I cannot express how kind and talented they were the entire time.     This was my second time having my hair cut by Maggie at Mac Hair Studio and I have nothing but great words to describe my experience. The whole process from booking, during and after my appointment was perfect. Melanie pleasantly helped me find an ideal date for an appointment. Then, Maggie made my hair dreams a reality and gave me a personalized cut according to my curl pattern and requests. I cut off at least 6 inches of hair and she advised me on what style and length would work for my face shape and amount of daily maintenance/styling I wanted to put in. I had full confidence a few days later when washing my hair because as Maggie said it would, it air dried beautifully thanks to her precise cut. Maggie treats my hair like her work of art and had proven that she truly knows what she is doing which makes me excited to try new hair styles and have fun :) Donā€™t hesitate to book an appt at Mac Hair Studio if you want your hair to be well served with a smile!     Margaret save my wedding day and ever since I refuse to go to anyone else to make me beautiful. My stylist for year decided to cancel my appointment right before my wedding. I was at a loss. My bridesmaids, mom, and I got our hair and makeup done for my wedding there and absolutely loved it!I was contacted by Lyndsey from the front desk to set up all of the information needed for the day of my wedding, including time slots, prices, etc. She layed everything out for me perfectly and I never had to stress about any of it! Lyndsey also helped me organize a nice place for us to keep snacks and drinks while we were all getting ready. It was awesome!!Margaret did my hair and it was exactly what I wanted! I filled out a ā€œget to know youā€ sheet and it was beyond helpful because as soon as I sat down in the chair they knew exactly what I wanted and how much I was looking to spend. Margaret, owner of this full-service boutique salon, is by far one of the most trend-setting and fabulous stylists I have ever met. Her salon is beautiful, great staff and team of stylists, her product selection is carefully selected for each guests individual needs and total hair health and beauty. I have shoulder length blonde hair and recently decided to go platinum ā€“ she is simply the best! Her education, experience, and knowledge as a colorist/stylist are better than any salon Iā€™ve visited from LA to Dallas, and now my home here in Jacksonville.     I had to find a hair and make up stylist for my wedding so I contacted Margaret (the owner and stylist) back in March and reserved my spot for an appointment for June. She went over everything in great detail and even suggested coordinating breakfast for the morning of my appointment (wedding day). Margaret did a fabulous job on my hair and Colin did a beautiful job with my airbrush make-up. Liesel assisted with the hair of all my flower girls (ages 10, 8, 6 and 4) and I couldnt have been happier at how cute their hair looked. We did not feel rushed and the process went VERY smoothly. I would recommend Margaret, Colin and Liesel to anyone for their wedding!

    So since Ive moved here from Brooklyn New York its been a huge culture shock for me, until recently I have discovered San Marco oh wow I found NYC in many ways especially the MAC Hair Studio in Jacksonville, elegance and the feel of NYC, only in San Marco. Exquisite decor, and friendly staff that makes you feel like family and I know why,Stylist Margaret Misenar treats this place like her home and opens it to you like your a guest in her home not to mention she uses colour and texture and light to bring life to her work, and makes your hair benefit from her passion. Margaretā€™s medium is hair and, when it comes to hair, the MAC Hair Studio owner is a perfectionist. I walked in and she treated me as a client and friend of 20 years and I feel as though I know her well.....She turned my whiny red into a highlighted crimson that looks kissed with color So natural and then she uses Oribe Hair Care and your in heaven.     I absolutely LOVE Courtney! I am from the high standard fashion capital of NYC so I am extremely picky with who touches my hair to make it trendy and Courtney is the ONLY stylist in Jacksonville I will allow to cut my hair. By choice I made her cut over 18 inches of my hair to a very short asymmetrical haircut and she pulled it off with flying colors. The entire staff is awesome but my go to stylist is Courtney and has been for the last 3 years. I LOOOOOOOOVE her!!!!!!

    Colin is fantastic and so talented! He works his magic and I leave there looking my best! I have a busy schedule and dont have much time to spend on my hair; Colin gives me a great cut that is easy to maintain and looks great.As soon as you walk through the doors, you can feel the energy of the staff and are warmly welcomed with offers of cool beverages. Im so glad that I found this place and will keep coming back as long as theyll have me!!

    I have never had a haircut I liked! Iā€™ve had highlights for years on dirty blonde hair. I decided let Colin do whatever he wanted. Omg! Such a beautiful, precision cut on my straight hair! He did a highlighted slightly copper color that is so rich and beautiful! Never leaving this salon or Colin!
