    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I recently took my daughter to Corasp Salon, and we had an amazing experience! Ms. April provided her with the best luxury treatment and a beautiful trim that exceeded our expectations. Not only was she incredibly skilled, but she also made my daughter feel special and pampered throughout the entire process. The atmosphere of the salon is welcoming and stylish, making it a perfect place for a relaxing day of self-care. We can’t wait to return for our next visit! Highly recommend!

    Guys! This was the best salon experience I have ever had! My daughter has super thick and curly hair, and I needed a blowout and silk press done because I just didnt have the 5 and half hours in me to do it myself...I called Corasp on Friday afternoon , made an appointment for Saturday morning and was in and out before 9am! Are you kidding me! I will add before and after photos of my daughter but tawl! I will bever! Go anywhere else!     UPDATE- 6 years later and I now drive from Orlando to Jax for all my hair services at Ocean Blu!New in town and was in search of a hair professional to partner with and I am over the moon to have found Corasp the Salon! Prior to my appointment, April (owner) was available, attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. April was prepared for my visit and provided 1 to 1 attention. April educates and empowers you to take control of your hair destiny! This salon is upscale, classy, and extremely professional! I enjoyed and appreciated the concierge service including mimosa and delicious snacks! April believes in the partnership that I was looking for and I am again - Over the moon!

    I got my hair washed and a layered hair cut.. Very high-end, I enjoyed a relaxing hair wash while sipping a mimosa. The hair stylist was very knowledgeable and helpful with some tips on taking care of my hair. My hair looked very healthy and taken care of afterwardsAs a college student, it was out my price range. For the hair wash and cut it was $190 but then they were able to lower it to $150. Due to not knowing the length and state of my hair when I set up the appointment. They weren’t able to give a price over the phone beforehand.This was my first time in years that I got a haircut. So I can’t compare the salon to others.

    This review has been a long time coming, but better late than never. I saw April for my first appointment at Corasp The Salon. It was the best experience Ive had at a beauty salon in my life. I walked in and was immediately greeted with Aprils warm smile and welcoming personality. I did a big chop that day, cutting off more than 5-6 inches off of my hair for the first time in a long time. It made me feel good that April was supportive of my decision! Ive been to other salons in the past where the stylist usually says something like youre going to cut all that beautiful hair off?!. As a mom of two toddlers, it became unmanageable. April cut it and treated it with a steam treatment (amongst other treatments), cut it just the way I wanted, and had me walking out of her salon like a new woman! She got me in and out- that was definitely the quickest and most enjoyable experience ever. Loved that she offered wine, coffee, and snacks. One of my favorite parts of her salon was her music selection! I truly had a day of relaxation!

    The BEST salon I’ve ever been to! I had a silk press, steam treatment, & layers done and miss April brought my hair back to LIFE. I was blown away by the customer service and how good my hair came out. I loved that she really took her time and explained everything she was doing and how to care for my hair.     When I first walked into the salon I was greeted with a fresh smile and offered a drink and a snack and was immediately made comfortable. I just moved to Jacksonville and I was really hesitant about allowing somebody to touch my hair but honey did an amazing job and I put my confidence in her And that something I did not regret she did a beautiful Job. They communicated with me thoroughly on my expectations and the results I was expecting and I am very very very happy and content and now she will never be able to get rid of me thank you honey in April for the good service and quality work.

    If I could give this salon more than five stars, I would. The atmosphere from the moment you walk in is so very welcoming. The ladies were so sweet, polite, and professional. The knowledge they share and the passion they showed was wonderful. They were so hospitable and worked absolute magic on my hair. And the way they just lifted every woman in the salon up with real compliments...it made me never want to go to any other salon. This salon was so clean and Honey made my hair exactly how I wanted it. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

    I do my own natural hair at home so I was very nervous about going to a salon to get a silk press. However, April was amazing! She put me at ease right away. She explained everything she was doing and why. She also taught me how to do my own hair at home, took videos that I could rewatch at home and showed me the products she was using for me to purchase. She did an amazing job on my hair. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

    I had been looking for a hair salon driving around and just asking a few questions pertaining to the care of my hair. I went to Corasp and met April and she was so caring and all about the health of my hair and she knows what she’s talking about which is what I loved about her. She was very informative, answered all my questions, and we set an appointment. The hospitality is amazing I have been here twice and I feel welcomed each time. Jess does my hair and she does wonderful she lets me know how to keep up with my hair so it doesn’t mess up. The atmosphere it lovely, laid back, and you will get your money’s worth. This place is a gem I don’t plan on going anywhere else. Thank you!!!!!

    I have been going to Corasp for years and have had silk presses, braid styles, clip in extensions and sew in extensions. I have also had my makeup done here. Service is always amazing and I always leave feeling like a new woman. Posting myMost recent braids with Desiree and pictures from various styles from April through the years. Jamee and April are also great stylists. My daughter also loves to get her braids and silk presses at Corasp. Service is always done on time in a timely manner, which is very important to me. I don’t get to go in salon as much as I like but we get in 2 or 3 times a year and always look forward to scheduling our next visit for birthdays and holidays.

    It was my first time going to a professional hair stylist in over 10 years (03/26). So, I took a chance on Corasp (I never knew there was a black/european hair salon in Mandarin). I decided to go with the Keratin Treatment. My stylist is Andria. Even though Andria is the most junior on their hair stylist team, she did an amazing job treating and styling my hair. It was absolutely beautiful! The staff/stylist there are extremely professional, kind, and helpful. NO WAIT FOR SERVICE! Your appointment is Your appointment time and no one else. There is no one sitting around waiting to get serviced. Its One client at a time, and I love that!Fast forward, I had to go back today (04/01) because my hair was resisting the treatment Id gotten several days before (I didnt understand what I was doing wrong). Andria was happy to help to me resolve the issue, Jamee and April helped too! April (Owner) gave me directions on maintaining my beautiful locks step by step. Including how to flat iron, flexi rod, and pin curl my hair, and what products to use and NOT to use!What an Awesome Team this establishment is in Mandarin, and I will confidently recommend anyone for any hair service to Corasp!Photos to follow.......~Veronica

    Amazing!!! I went in to get my hair colored, hair cut and style! I went there because I love Paul Mitchell hair color! I had April as my stylist and she was amazing! I will recommend this salon to my family and friends! April took her time and listened to everything I wanted! I will be going there every Thursday for my wash and blow out!! They have amazing happy hour deals for $30!! 😃

    Went to Corasp and April was my stylist. Must say Im in love with the cut and color I received. She is a friendly and very personable. She is also a master of her craft very talented and knowledgeable. She listens wholeheartedly to the client and does just as they wish. This is my new salon for now on and April is my stylist.

    This salon is one of the best I have ever been. They are kind, friendly; you never have to wait hours before being seen. The hospitality is over the top great and I always get the look I am going for. They not only care about the hair, they also care about you as their client.     I dont write many reviews. But I feel especially compelled to write this one. I made an overnight decision to try a new look. Not only was I granted a last minute time slot, I received VIP treatment. April truly delivered an EXPERIENCE!!!! To say that she is professional and customer focused does not even begin to describe what she brings to the table. Absolutely worth EVERY penny!!! I couldnt be happier! This made my WHOLE weekend.     April was amazing! I had found a deal on Groupon and decided to give it a try. I was ready for a change in my hair and she was everything I hoped she would be. Perfect color, perfect cut, perfect outcome. She was wonderful in helping pick the best colors for my skin tone and the best cut for my facial structure. She listened to what I wanted and delivered 100 times over! If you are looking to have your hair done in the Jacksonville area, this is where to go. Even without a Groupon deal, I will be back for my maintenance there.

    Hands down this is the best salon I’ve ever been to and trust me I’ve been to quite a few! The entire staff is efficient, professional and friendly and i always feel like a VIP customer when I walk through the doors! I don’t plan on going to any other salon while living in Jacksonville because there’s no need to search any further !Your next appointment NEEDS to be at CORASP!!!

    This review is long overdue but better late then never. I called last minute needing something something done with my “natural” long hair. April squeezed me in with no hesitation. I got a smooth out treatment and love the mangeability it gives me while also letting me keep my natural curls. April’s customer service/satisfaction skills is 10🌟 !Drinks & snacks were provided with plenty refills lol.I wish I could take her salon in every city I travel to for work. As long as I’m in Jax, I will happily be a returning customer 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

    I have been looking for a salon for years. And let me tell you it is definitely hard.The customer service is Totally amazing. First off the stylists and receptionist greets you with a welcome smile the minute you walk into the door. They offer wine, juice, coffee, water and snacks. And let me tell you the snacks are the best. Because I love Miss Vickies chips. And the wine selection is great. And wifi connection.My stylist name was April. And when I tell you she knows her stuff. She really is kind, very understanding, and willing to get your hair into a better state of health. And affordable.She told me about Olaplex Treatment. And put me on a hair regimen. She not only did my hair but my husband, daughter and son. She is really good with children.I am totally amazing of her craft and how she is very patient. I am so happy we found her. She got us out the salon in no time.I received a blonde retouch with an Olaplex treatment. My hair feels and looks amazing. I must see.

    I was off work on Friday and was looking to get my hair done. Everywhere I called did not have any openings. I found a Groupon for Corasp and decided to give them a call. The Groupon was for $100 if you got ombre or $129 is you decided on balayage (haircut and style included). When I called the person on the phone was very friendly. I told them I was not sure which one I wanted to purchase. I was told do not bother with the Groupon to come in and they will honor the price and do a consultation.The salon was nice and the stylist was friendly. I was offered drinks and snacks. The stylist did the consultation. I was told that since I had box color (brown) 2 months ago I needed to have color removal done due to a greenish tint. This added another $60 and due to my length (shoulder length hair, but thick) I had an additional charge. All in all I was quoted $224 and I was made to sign a contract with the price. I walked in thinking I was going to pay between $100-129 and was left with a quoted amount of $224 (also be prepared to pay an extra fee for using the square card reader-additional 2.75% on top of all the additional charges added).I was going out of town that night and needed to get my hair done. This was quite a drive for me and now I was thinking my hair was green so I agreed to get my hair done. April pulled up a beautiful color on her Ipad and it was exactly what I wanted. I was told it would take 5-6 hours.I made it very clear I did not want my hair to look natural. I wanted it to look like I spent money to have my hair done. I did not want to spend this kind of money to look the same..The stylist did my hair and while doing it made a comment that my hair was not age appropriate. I was pretty insulted. I am 35 not 53 and did not walk in with Rainbow Brite hair. I came in trying to feel better about myself. It was not my intention to feel like I was knocked down several steps.When my color was complete I turned around and my hair looked exactly the same (minus the so called green tint)! I came into work this morning and was told that it looked the same! I made it clear when I left that I do not notice a difference and the color looked like it did previously. I was told that the lighting was not good in the salon (well if that is the case then the lighting was not good when I spent an extra $60 for color removal due to a green tint) and the stylist mentioned that she tried to keep me natural. I did not ask to be natural. I told her specifically that I did NOT want to be natural. I am not sure why a different direction was taken other than what I requested.. I ended up spending $254 which was way more than expected and I left out of there completely disappointed.It is what it is.. I should not have been in a rush to find somewhere to get my hair done. I should have waited and made an appointment somewhere I was familiar with. Needless to say I will not return and would not recommend the salon.******UPDATE*******I revisited the salon and the owner April did my hair. It was an awesome experience. She is so knowledgeable and will make you feel like a queen. April went above and beyond to ensure that I have the best experience. I told her what I was looking for and she gave it to me exactly and then some. It was very fun and enjoyable. She is very experienced in her field and knows all there is to know about beauty. She gave me makeup tips and I plan to go back to one of her makeup classes! I left out of there feeling wonderful and I am very satisfied with my hair. She went above the call of duty and did what any salon owner should do and for that I am changing my review to 5 stars. Thank you April your the best! :)

    Got half strand by strand half tape in extensions done along with a keratin treatment, and I’m in love with my hair!! I was immediately greeted, seated, and offered water or a glass of wine and a snack. I’ll definitely be back!!! They also are very reasonable! :)

    My first experience was phenomenal. April gave such a warm welcome. And Jamee followed with a warm welcome as well. I just relocated to Jax and was nervous about finding a loctician that specifically does interlocking method retwist. Jamee was great, took her time, and was so hospitable throughout. So grateful for the referral from my friend. Highly recommend, and look forward to returning. :)
