    Carey is the fix it guy! My highlights were all over the place after having visited several salons that just could not get it right. He set my highlights straight and toned them perfectly. This was my first time getting my hair professionally done in two years, and during that time, I had box-dyed my hair every color under the sun: brown, black, blue, and red. Needless to say, I wasnā€™t sure what to expect, but Carey was absolutely amazing.From the moment I walked in, the salon had a laid-back and welcoming vibe.     Casey did an awesome job. My cut can be a little interesting for first timers, but he killed it. I am very picky when it comes to someone cutting my hair as I have had the same hair stylists for over 15 years. Moving to Jacksonville the past 4 years, I have had only one person that I trusted. I took a chance on Casey as his reviews were good. He got me in that day, showed him the picture of the cut I wanted. He took his time, listened to me and gave me the best cut I have had in a while here. I will definitelybe going back to him for maintenance cuts and color. I asked for the Cherry Cola color and he understood the assignment.

    Carey did an AMAZING job on my perm! He was very knowledgeable and thoughtful, talked me through all of the techniques he used step by step. Initially, the front of my hair didnā€™t hold a curl but as soon as I texted and expressed concern he immediately booked me a free follow up appointment to re-curl the front pieces. Iā€™m so happy with the end result as well as price. I came in with long hair and paid $225 for perm+ haircut, which is a great price for this area. I absolutely recommend carey for his perm services as well as curly hair layering skills!!

    I cannot overstate how great my experience was with Carey! He was super helpful and took his time when we were deciding on my hair color (my biggest worry) and communicative about the time it would take to achieve it. He checked on me throughout the whole process and you can tell hes a really wonderful person. I am SO HAPPY, my friends are OBSESSED, and life is good when you have hair you love!     I just went to see carey first time yesterday. All I can say is this man is great !! He is very attentive, takes his time. Thereā€™s an art about cutting my hair that was super impressive. He even used the term ā€œmillion dollar bangsā€ , which I loved. He was just as excited as I was about the results after having to correct the color used and stay super late to make sure I was leaving there a super happy customer. The salon is super clean, great vibe and it helps that heā€™s a Top Fun fan! absolutely love my final product.

    Carey did an amazing job on my hair. I came in with a crazy mix of purple, brown and blonde hair. I was notified Friday afternoon of work photos being taken Monday. I was lucky to find something so last moment. I have been going to the same stylist for years but she wasnt available. So in I came with a mild to moderate panic attack ( visiting a new stylist does it everytime). Carey and his staff were so patient and I am happy to say my hair looked fantastic.     I was very impressed with the cleanliness and overall appearance and feel of this salon. Today on my first visit to this salon Carey Reeves cut my hair for the first time. His station was the nicest I have seen in the business and perfectly clean. Carey has incredible clipper skills!!! He helped me figure out what I wanted and then executed like a machine. He made my normally ugly hair look PERFECT! I hope he doesnā€™t get too busy cause I plan to be a regular from now on!     After too many times of trying to change up my look on my own, Carey saved my hair.     Called a few places closer to me to get a same day appt. with no one answering the phone except Park East. Carey took his time and took me from an inverted bob with bangs to a precise asymmetrical bob with side bangs (trying to grow them out). He was really patient with me asking to go shorter and shorter with the cut. I even bought two hair products that were used on my hair without any pressure because they made my hair soft and shiny! I will go back again!Update 11/20/2020Went back for a blunt chin length bob. Bought the amazing conditioner this time, again with no sale pressure.     Park East is a full service salon in the front and barber shop man cave in the back. Carey was my barber and was awesome in making sure that my fade came out fresh and clean. Got my hair washed which was a plus since I was doing an errand afterward and didnt have to worry about looking all gross and hairy. Overall great customer service and quality cuts. Dont let the name fool you, go see Carey and be comfortable knowing that you will be leaving with a smile.

    My experience with Carry was absolutely incredible, I cant say enough good things about him and the service I got @ Park East Salon...he was personable, made me feel comfortable, very obviously professional and knew what he was doing, he even took interest in my job, which I was doing while getting my haircut hahaā€¦ And he even recommended a friend who is a contractor to help with the business I work for.     I went in with super brassy ends and dark roots wanting a platinum blonde and Carey gave me exactly that!!!He was able to get it to platinum blonde in one day and even stayed after hours to finish it and I am beyond grateful.He did such a wonderful job and I would highly recommend him!!     Carey always does my haircut, and I believe my mom, aunt, and cousins get theirs done by him or Alice. Always nice, and knows exactly what Im going for when explaining what Id like to do with my hair. Ive also had my eyebrows done here, and oddly it lasted longer than going to other places to get my eyebrows waxed. Some may think the pricing is a little high ($35 for a haircut), and some may think the coloring/highlights is a bit high, but you are paying for a high quality service with great ethics behind it which is totally worth it. I always goes here and nowhere else for my hair.

    Carey is a true artist and cares about his craft. His attention to detail and care for customers is unsurpassed. Trims the beard, eyebrows, moustace, sideburns and the haircut is the excellent every time. Seriously you canā€™t find a single hair out of place!     Carey always does my hair and does it right. He really tries to understand and work on what you want. But hell also make suggestions to amp up your hair look even more. No one else cuts or colours my hair except for him. The products used are organic and top quality. If anything were to need changing itd probably just be a minor upgrade to the salon to modernize it some more. But whats important is that they care about their customers and customer satisfaction.

    Have been going regularly every 3 weeks to see Carey for my haircuts since August of 2016. Carey strives to give you the best cut possible and the days of looking around to find somewhere to get a haircut are over. I live on the opposite side of Jacksonville about 30-45mins away but find it well worth it to benefit from Careys expertise, so I would definitely recommend Park East Salon if you are in the area.

    Okay so this place is AMAZING. I have had so much trauma and horrible experiences with other salons so much that I havenā€™t been to one in YEARS.     First Class Service!!!! I needed a last minute haircut prior to traveling internationality for business and pleasure. I called Carrie at last minute and he went above and beyond.     I usually dont like how my haircuts end up because it seems like its not their hair they are cutting. However Carey took his time to detail and perfect everything out. I mentioned something when we started on the second haircut about the first and he immediately took the situation into his hands figuratively and literally on how to make sure it would not be like that again. It was just where on both sides I wanted my beard to begin ...probably my lopheadedness didnt help the first time.
