    The best haircuts in Jacksonville. Frank is the owner and one hell of a guy with a big heart. He will talk if that what you want or cut your hair is silence. I feel comfortable having him cut my hair which is quite rare for myself. This is my spot till I move or one of us dies. Thanks Frank!

    My first time coming here, I was a Walk-in and without hesitation, Frank hooked me up with a haircut in no time!     The only place i can get a perfect hair cut! To my ladies with long hair. Wash and dry your hair as it naturally falls before visiting. Frank uses an electric trimmer to give me a straight line cut. He has me stand up for this part to make sure my hair (cow licks) are laying naturally perfect.I then sit down and he goes back with a straight razor to add layers/texture. Perfect hair cut for me each time!

    The young guy who cut my 4 year old grandsons hair was AMAZING!! My baby got the exact cut he wanted!! He edged it perfectly gave him a cute little design on the side .. left all his beautiful curls on top .. I couldnt have asked for better!! Thank you so much!! Look at that smile!!

    Rel did an amazing job with my head and my beard! It also didnt take him longer than necessary. Got my head straight razor shave and my beard straight razor lined up with a full service, hot towels and all, in less than an hour. I also love Riverside and its just another excuse for me to love it more.

    Easily the best barbershop in the area. Only been in Jacksonville for a little while, but after visiting multiple barbers, Razors Edge quickly stood out to me for the vibes and excellent traditional haircuts. Shout out to Frank for being super knowledgeable and making sure I walked out with a wicked haircut! Couldnā€™t recommend this spot more.

    Shop is on point. Great environment and was awesome finding a fellow USMC vet to get the job done right. Being a mechanic thought it was awesome all the work stations had roll cart tool boxes for all there needs. The old school hot razor shave brought me back to the days when my great uncle would bring me to the only barber shop in town where Iā€™m from, definitely coming back.

    Ive heard good things about this shop in general, but I got a great haircut from Frank. Dude is from New York, so I already expected good things from him (Im a little biased, I used to live there and people from Northeast states have a good reputation cutting). Guy was friendly and the shop takes walk ins, but I would schedule an appointment or at least call ahead because they can get booked up fast. Will definitely come back in the future!

    Iā€™ve been coming to Razors edge for about two years now. The staff are always welcoming. Rell is one of the best barbers Iā€™ve found. Heā€™s very caring, thorough and detailed within his work.     Best barber and beardsmith in town, IMHO. Frank knows, I mean knows how to cut hair and shape a beard and makes me look my best, and my wife agrees. As long as he is around, I wont go anywhere else. He doesnt just do short hair and beards either, he is an expert at long hair, other styles, fades and even womens styles. Go to Frank once and you wont go anywhere else. And while I havent had a cut from any of the other barbers there, I can judge by what Ive seen and watched them do while getting mine and I can say any barber you choose here will make you look like no one else has. Go!!

    I cannot recommend Rell enough. Simply put, he is a craftsman and sitting in his chair is more than haircut itā€™s an experience. His cuts are thorough and detailed yet efficient as well.     Hey everyone if you are looking for a barber donā€™t hesitate to request for JR. This man has all the right qualities and skills it takes to be a barber. I was looking for a good barber in town for a while, and I have to be honest, this man has definitely set the bar up high. I hade a great experience sitting in his chair. I told him what I wanted and he delivered without fail. I know many people hesitate to chose what barber they should go to and are nervous about it coming out messed up, but this man will definitely have you looking fresh not only just for mens but kids as well. Iā€™ve taken my 2 year old son to him and my son has no issues. I give this man a definite 5star rating because there is so much more I can go on about his skills and qualities but Iā€™ll leave that for you to experience yourself.

    I just have to say how thrilled I am to finally find an authentic Barber here in Jacksonville Riverside area. Moving here from Miami Beach 5 months ago Ive tried at least five different barbers/ hair stylist and have not received the results that I wanted. Thank God Frank welcomed me in without an appointment and got me all ready for my job interview on wednesday. He cut my hair exactly the way I wanted , trimmed my beard ,did my eyebrows I look like a new man. Also great conversation.Thank you Frank

    This is a fantastic shop! My dude has been here a couple times and comes out so handsome. My buddy recommended it to me; this is the shop that takes care of his pomp. I had my hair cut today and I, being a girl, have serious anxiety about having my hair cut and Frank took such good care of my locks. My best friend is moving here in a couple weeks and theres no other shop Id take him to. Highly recommend! These guys are great!

    Love this place. Frank and Zach are the best. Great old fashion shave. Love the hot towels, warm lather. Very relaxing experience.UPDATE 5/10/2021 Today marked my first time back to Razors Edge sknce the end oz 2019. Covid isolation kept me away from all things retail. But today I treated myself to a shave and this place still delivers. Frank is a great barber, the place is just a great refuge from the everyday world. Pricing is more than fair.     Razorā€™s Edge is fantastic. My dad and I have been coming here for years. They never disappoint. They always go above and beyond and create a legendary experience. It really is a barber shop and they make you feel just at home. If you want a great haircut with a great price I recommend coming here. I even make the 30 min drive for this shop.

    I have FINALLY found my barbershop. A little background; Iā€™ve been in Jacksonville for over a year and Iā€™ve had a lot of haircuts... not many were any good. My last one was so bad I almost had to cut it all off and start over.This was my last resort before just saying ā€œF*%# it, Iā€™m going to cut my own hairā€. Immediately upon walking in I knew I was at the right place. You walk into a great, welcoming, environment that has truly embraced the Riverside vibe.Fast forward to my haircut- I was getting an undercut touched up after many other bad haircuts, and they fixed areas of my hair I didnā€™t even know were messed up. I have VERY thick Hispanic hair so it wasnā€™t easy, but these guys were pros.Theyā€™ve gained a lifetime customer for sure. This place has saved my social life. Canā€™t recommend them enough.

    I was looking for a new barbershop and came across this gem! I did some research before going in, looked at pictures from each barber on the website, and decided I wanted to have Rell cut my hair. I called and made sure he was available for 5pm, which he was, and went and saw him. When I sat down, I told him he had freedom to design my hair the way he felt it would look best. Mr. Frank, the shop owner, turned around and said he wished my hair was longer because he has a few designs hed like to try. So Rell cut my hair in a flat fade(I think thats what they called it) and Mr. Frank is going to cut my hair in a sweet style in 2 months after my hair grows out. The shop was clean, environment was friendly and good times were had. Cant wait to see how my hair turns out in 2 months.Update: This is the best barber shop I have ever had the pleasure of stepping in to. Iā€™ve had cuts by Frank and Rell, but I have become a regular for Rell. He knows exactly how to cut my hair and trim and line up my beard. Iā€™ve been to many different shops and seen a bunch of different barbers. Iā€™ll stick with Rell at this shop for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend you go see Rell if you need a cut of any type.

    I took my 4 (almost 5) year old son in for a haircut today. They were able to fit us in as soon as we walked in the door. My son was pretty squirmy & Rell was able to pull off a fantastic haircut. This was our first trip to Razors Edge & I walked out a happy mama with a handsome young man who also loves his new haircut.     Been going to Razors Edge for 2-3 years Frank always does a great job and even did all my groomsmen before my wedding in 2014. Very friendly and helpful. Most importantly does a great job on shaves, hair cuts and beard trims. Someone I trust and would recommend.

    What makes barber shops great are the barbers themselves. I found this place by word of mouth and was lucky enough to end up in Zachs chair. Dont let his youthful appearance belie his depth of knowledge, skill, and professionalism. Being somewhat newer to town, Ive suffered 12+ months of crappy to mediocre haircuts and shaves. Today (11/22/16) was BY FAR the best cut, shave, and service Ive received, in town, to date. Two of the three other barbers seemed to have regulars in their chairs, as well. Price for an excellent haircut and hot towel shave was incredibly reasonable at $30. Zach has a new, loyal customer; I will definitely return.

    I moved here 4 months ago and visited several shops until I found Rell. One of the nicest people you want to meet. Always has been ready when appointment time hits.     Rell is the hero of all barbershops, I am from Michigan me and my son came to Rell shown him the picture of the haircut that we was looking for. And long story short we walked out the shop with the picture on our head. Rell done a great job I recommend anyone to him. Zach spent over an hour not only giving me the most incredible haircut Ive ever received, but he also explained why he was doing what he was doing to maximize my features.     I needed a haircut and this place is close to my house. After reading the reviews I decided to give them a shot and Iā€™m glad I did! DeJuan took care of me and gave me a great cut for a great price! Plus I had some really good conversation with him and the other gentlemen in the shop.     Wouldve given 5 stars, buuuut.... We had two cuts there. My husbands and my sons. Averaging the Two cuts, gives the 4. Two barbers, two very different qualities of cuts. The barber that cut my husbands hair mustve been pretty new. He asked for a skin fade. He still has lots of hair. Its faded, but (2-3 stars for that guy. Once he gets a little more experienced, hell do fine). The barber who cut my sons hair (3yo boy) was stellar!!! Id give him 10 stars if I could! He was very precise, took his time, was super patient and sweet to my son. DeJuan, First chair on the left. Frank, first chair on the right was doing great cuts too! Id go with either of them.My husband is going back to DeJuan next week. Will try to update how his fade goes.

    Ive been to other barbershops & I must say, this is the best shop in Jacksonville. Mike made me look like a real gentleman & respectable again. As for the hot shaves, all I can say about that is, you dont know what youre missing out on. I do know that Ive found my barbershop.     I gave Lauren Rizzi a try and am glad I did. Supercuts will only ruin your hair & it doesnt matter which one you go to either, its like they recruit straight from clown college. Lauren however, performed the EXACT cut Ive been missing for soo long. Since the first cut with her Ive been back every week and a half, my 2yr. old toddler has been twice & she has also done color and styling for my wife. I STRONGLY recommend you give this place a shot. Super affordable and done right! Ive worked two doors down from them for over a year, now that they have Lauren, Steven and Duan is back, Ill go there every time!
