We love Sharkeys for our son. The staff are great with the kids (we especially love Hannah and Sarah) the environment is entertaining for children and welcoming, and as of the time of this review, they offer a yearly membership which is very cost effective. They gradually got our kiddo less afraid of washing his hair too.

Tammy and Dorothy are both great!First time going here and it was great! Staff were all friendly and they all had a willingness to try their best to give my kids a great haircut! We went to another kid friendly place and I did not feel comfortable, so we found this place instead. The young guy who cut my 1-year old’s hair was super sweet and careful. He showed him the machine and let him touch it briefly so my son wouldn’t be afraid. The whole thing was very quick and he looked fantastic afterwards. This was his first haircut so we got a picture and a certificate. The best part was that he only cried a bit at first, but it was not a traumatic event at all, which was my biggest concern.Highly recommended!

So like most parents, my daughter cut her hair this morning. I was so broken over what had happened. I called and made an appointment at Cookie Cuts(We were a few minutes late due to a few car accidents that happened) and they wouldnt see my daughter to fix her hair problem. So I contacted Sharkeys, I was able to be seen within 30 minutes or so. We got in, were seen, both workers are PHENOMENAL! The service was OUTSTANDING! I would definitely bring my daughter here again and my other 2 children, if I ever need amazing hair care service. This is the Place for your kids! I wont even book at Cookie Cuts EVER AGAIN. Sharkeys is the spot for my family! Thank you for helping and giving my daughter such an adorable cut! 🥰🥰💕 You will not regret coming here!

My son Ian came here for his first haircut, Selena was so sweet and took great care of him! We even did a little spa day for my daughter. They give you a lock of their first cut, a picture, and a certificate. It is a wonderful experience for kiddos.

Absolutely love using Sharkey’s for my girls’ haircuts. We’ve requested Selena several times and she is so sweet and wonderful to work with. She doesn’t rush through the haircut and genuinely seems to love her job. The other stylists we’ve worked with have also been very wonderful and seem to care about the happiness of their clients. I would most definitely recommend Sharkey’s to anyone looking to have their child’s hair cut. Oh, and for little girls, a nail polish and ring are included with every cut - such a fun little perk!

What a fun place for kids to get a haircut! I wish that I knew of this place sooner for when he was younger, because the fun car like chairs are super cute for the little kids. My son did enjoy the bigger kids area where he was able to play video games while getting his hair cut. He loved it. Highly recommend! Well definitely be back!

We have heard great things about Sharkys Cuts for kids and finally got to try it. My daughter got the girls haircut which included a wash, finger nail painting, cut, blow dry and she got to pick out a bow. Parents can also get haircuts and they offer mommy/daddy and me packages too, which is fantastic. Kids can pick whatever show they want to watch on T and where to sit. It was a cute lil salon experience for her. Jessica was her hairdresser and she was so kind and took the time to make my daughter feel comfortable. Jessica gave us some suggestions to help enhance her curls and they looked wonderful. My daughter cannot wait to go back!

Selena and Dorothy are so friendly and very good with kids! We come here for all 4 of my children. My two boys receive the best haircuts while watching their favorite show and sitting on a cool car. My two girls love that they’re able to get their nails painted too. The balloons and the candy are just the cherry on top at the end of the great service they provide! Thank you guys so much for continuing to give the best to our family!

Weve gone to other kid hair places and have always left disappointed, but Sharkeys was hands down amazing. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted, and the stylists quickly got to work. They did great with all 3 of our boys, ages 7 to almost 2. My older boys also enjoyed playing video games, their minicures, and havent stopped talking about how awesome this salon was. We are also so happy with how the actual cuts turned out, and for once left a kid salon so happy with the results.

This place is super cute! The stylist did exactly what I wanted and she was very sweet and patient with my son she even gave him one of her hair combs since he kept trying to snatch it. He got a lollipop after and a free balloon. They had a lot of cute decorations for Halloween which I thought was a great touch. Everyone was super friendly and it was very clean! Definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back.

We took our 4.5 year old here for her first haircut and they did absolutely amazing! The staff is great with kids and they go slow and talk to them during the process, and they are rewarded with goodies afterwards. This is the absolute best place for kids and we will not be going anywhere else for the foreseeable future. I recommend this place to anyone with kids! Such a great price too!

My daughter gets a bit nervous when it comes to getting her hair cut. I took her to Sharkey’s and she got to pick the chair she wanted and chose to play Minecraft. She was totally at ease. Sharkey’s is such a great establishment. From the moment you walk in the door you feel right at home. The staff are overwhelmingly friendly & warm. My son was so excited about picking out his special seat & movie. Our sons stylist made sure she cut his hair perfectly & asked for my input. He didn’t even realize he was getting a haircut because he was so distracted. You can absolutely tell that it is family owned. They truly go above & beyond. There is really no other place to get your child’s haircut!

They were really nice to our little family and fun to talk to, our girls had so much fun and we love our hair! Thank you so much!I really really love this place, me and my husband came here to get our oldest daughters 1st hair cut and they did fantastic, this time I came back with our youngest and mom. Had a mom and daughter cut from Ms Sarah N 😊 and our youngest baby got her 1st hair cut, she did Amazingly. Our babies hair no longer a bother to her and my hair feels like it has come back to life, we will definitely be coming back again some day soon. We have been having our hair cut by Miss Tammy the new manager for many years. She is not just good with kids, but adults as well. She is excellent with bald fades, callicks, military cut, and hard parts and we strongly recommend her. We love how the shop looks, it is very cute and well done and very up kept. My 13yr old was giving me a hard time about it being a “little kids” salon and Sara N stepped in to diffuse the issue right away. If you have children this is the one and only place to go for hair cuts. This place is awesome! They have EVERYTHING to make the hair cut experience fun and enjoyable for your kids . My Grandson initially did not like getting hair cuts until coming here. He loved his racing car seat ! His stylist was awesome ! His hair looked absolutely adorable ! Everyone here is very friendly , great with the kids ! They have options of Children’s shows to watch to help distract the little ones and even have video games for the bigger ones. Literally the best place ever!!! We have been there 3 times now over the last 2 years and everything has gone smooth. We get an early appointment before it gets busy. Even when they are understaffed the ladies are so nice and handle everything with care. My boys love to go because it is super fun and they get balloons, lollipops, and sometimes a toy. We went today and Emma was amazing, Patient and kindhearted. The other ladies had children who where scared and screaming and they handled them beautifully and with patients. Highly recommend

I took my four kiddos to get their summer haircuts at this new kids salon! They absolutely enjoyed their time there. Ms. Mary and Emma were awesome! My youngest son with Autism had a 100% positive experience thanks to Ms. Mary. She treated him with so much patience and respect. The kids had so much to do before, during, and after their cuts. They are already asking to go back! The salon was very clean and welcoming. 10/10 recommend!!!

Our stylist Edie was amazing with both of my boys and so patient with my youngest who was absolutely terrified to get his haircut because of a traumatizing experience at a different business. We originally had an appt scheduled for another place but the reviews were really unsettling so I changed places at the last minute and so glad I did. One of the stylists were late but the rest of the staff was quick to jump around and accommodate as fast as they could. This is exactly how a children’s hair salon should be run! The staff is very friendly and intuitive to the child’s needs, you are greeted as soon as you are welcomed into the store, and attention all goes on the child to make them comfortable. Haircut was great. No complaints on the haircut whatsoever and amazed at how good of a job was done with a rambunctious three-year-old! Miss Jill cut his hair and was so patient and so friendly, he talked about her after we left! We’ve attempted other children’s salons nearby and was always disappointed. Not the case here, as we will be returning customers.

I love the haircut they did on my daughter and how we were treated when we came in for my daughters haircut. My appt was for 6pm but they worked around and got my daughters hair done quickly. I really appreciate it. They did a complete makeover to my daughter and im happy with the service we got. I loved that they took their time and are really delicate with kids . Kids are happy to come and get their haircuts at sharkys. My princess loves her bangs.

It was my son’s 8th birthday today and we went to Sharkey’s for the first time. I showed Stephanie that works there a picture of the cut my son wanted and she cut it perfectly and worked around my son’s cowlicks as well. It looks great and he got to play video games the whole time. He also got a ballon a lollipop a tattoo and a free dip and dots for his birthday. They really know how to make it enjoyable for your child. I will definitely go back and I suggest it to any parent.
