    Iā€™ve been to many barbershops in my life, but The Twelve Hair Studio is hands down the best! Not only do they have top-notch barbers and hair professionals, but their service is second to none. The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable, and inclusiveā€”everyone here makes you feel right at home the moment you step in. Kristen, in particular, is amazing, and Iā€™ll definitely be coming back for a cut from her whenever Iā€™m in town. I just wish they had a location in the city Iā€™m moving to. Truly an exceptional place!

    Weve had bad experiences with getting our sons haircut in the past but today we found an absolute professional. Kristen did an amazing job with our very talkative and wiggle worm of a child. She was extremely patient and answered all 5,000 questions that our son asked during our visit. The work that comes out of this studio is phenomenal and I cant recommend them enough.

    Vexed the Barber is sharp. He does a super sharp cut. Go in and ask for Vexed!! You wont regret it. JS Great shop and all the barbers are great.

    Very impressed with this business! Sam ā€œDamnSamā€ was extremely professional and talented with his services. I came in from out of town to visit family for the weekend and was recommended to not only this barbershop, but Sam specifically.     The experience was one of the best haircuts Iā€™ve ever received! I moved from Queens NY to Jacksonville FL about 8 years ago and havenā€™t been able to find a barber that can do a proper fade.     Sam is really good in what he does. All those who are with barbers currently, you should try and just switch for one hair cut with this guy, once you experience professionalism and quality cuts by Sam, you will never go back to your old barber again. Go on website schedule yourself appointment that fits your schedule. Really happy he has that too now so i can schedule when i have time to see him. Also want to thank him for the patience with my son, he is really the best barber out there. Look no further go see him, you wont be disappointed.

    Really cool place. Highly recommended.I was visiting from out of town and on a long road trip. Ive been going to the same barber for 10+ years, and it can be a little uncertain when going to a barber for the first time. Sam set an appointment with Kristen. I got one of the best fades Ive ever had from Kristen. Real quality.     It was my first time coming to The Twelve Hair Studio and I was instantly greeted by Sam and Carter with warm smiles when I walked in! Iā€™m typically nervous about trying out new barbers or hair stylists, but Sam definitely made me feel comfortable. Not only did they treat me like family although it was my first time meeting them, but the cut Sam gave me was amazing! Most definitely will be coming back to continuously get my cuts from Sam or Carter. Thank you again for being so great guys!

    The shop has an excellent vibe, Sam the barber is super cool, carries good conversation, he has excellent equipment and a wide range of different tools for different styles of cuts. Iā€™m very impressed with the final outcome of my haircut. Iā€™m from Houston, Texas and I needed a cut while I was in town for the weekend and I have to say the over all experience and end result were awesome.     Love coming here! Sam and Carter are super professional! They make you feel comfortable and cater to what you need.I had my color and cut done and absolutely had to come back for a hair design on my sides. Cant recommend this place enough! Super clean!     Was visiting Jax and needed a haircut. Googled what was nearby and decided to check this place out. Hands down best haircut Ive ever received. Only met Sam once, but I already felt like I knew him for years. Just a genuinely good dude and a GREAT barber. Good energy all around, and super thorough with the haircut. Everything I can ask for from a Barbershop. 11/10.

    I am completely blown away by Kristen and by the barber shop as a whole! It was my first time there and I canā€™t fathom going anywhere else after my experience. Every barbershop needs to take notes. Iā€™ve been growing my hair out for a little while and i could not for the life of me figure out my own hair and how to style it. Kristen sat me down and we talked through my hair goals. I gave her complete control and she did an amazing job. She was so detailed and precise and even educated me on my own hair. 28 years Iā€™ve been battling my hair and within 1 hair cut had my hair tamed. She was also extremely nice and conversed with the whole time! We need more people like the people at Twelve Hair Studio when it comes to high end haircuts. I could go on and on about the barber shop and Kristen but just go and see for yourself and you will understand. BEST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE!

    Sam is the one who holds himself to a higher standard in life. So in this regard, his haircuts are all exquisite and such good quality. He takes his time, treats you like family, and he doesnā€™t skip steps. There are a ton of barber shops in Jax that I have personally visited and sat in the chair for a cut and I have yet to be pleased with what theyā€™ve done. I walk into The Twelve Hair Studio and am greeted by Sam like Iā€™m family and then his cuts are amazing. I would recommend anyone go get a cut by him. If youā€™re a female he even has a girl named Carter who can cut and or color your hair or do both! They make an amazing powerhouse of a work team and the energy is always good there. I wonā€™t go anywhere else. Heā€™s got my business for sure!! Give him yours!!

    Super professional and pleasant. I was visiting from out of town and was accommodated quickly, even with a mix up with scheduling. Vexed was phenomenal! I had never been to a barber before coming here and Vexed helped me feel super comfortable and made sure he knew exactly what I wanted done with my hair before he started working on it.     This guy is hands down the best in north east Florida. I never let anyone cut my hair because Ive had so many bad experiences with different shops and Sam is the first dude I really trust. Not to mention hes a great guy to get to know and he is a master at his craft. To me this place is more than a barber shop, its got a vibe like no where else and really chill. The dude does art with hair. I didnt even have to say what look Im going for after my second visit. Designs are always on point. The ghost fade is fire! Sam comes up with a ton of great stuff. Dont make another mistake of booking with someone else and risking a bad cut - definitely hit up Sam.

    Sam was hands down the best barber iā€™ve encountered. I just moved to this area about a month ago, so iā€™ve been looking for a barber. I went to a barber earlier in the day who didnā€™t cut my hair how i wanted, so I contacted Sam and he fit me in and touched me up and now Iā€™m definitely making him my permanent barber.     I got a haircut a while back from Sam. He likes to talk and to interact with his clients. He is not afraid to tell you the truth and offer suggestions on how to improve. Also, he is passionate with his work in cosmetology, photography, and filmmaking.As far as my haircut, I loved it! He did do my eyebrows, but with a razor. I would rather prefer to have waxing or threading be used instead.

    For the first time in forever I arrived and left ECSTATIC about a haircut experience. I drove 45 minutes just to get a cut by Sam and I would do it ten times over again.     So this is long overdue from my appointment, but I need to make sure everyone else knows about this incredible hair studio and the kind people who work here as well.They were so accomidating of my wishes and I trusted them completely with their creativity on my hair and I dont regret a second of it.     Sam is the REAL deal. As soon as I walked in the door, he greets me like his long lost brother from another mother and did I mention that we have never met before? After explaining what I was looking for, it was like a lightbulb went off in his head, and never have I had a barber say to me, you are going to love how it looks when Im done, and he said this probably 3 times during our session. When we were done, he said let me show you how to style it, and then proceeded to go over our allotted time to ensure I knew how to perfect my new look, and that I was happy with my cut.     Carter Gaskins did my pixie cut, with shaved design. She is also an amazing colorist! I was told by another salon that what I wanted couldnt be done because it would take too long, damage my hair and cost over 400$. Carter took her time, brought my Level 7 brunette hair to platinum, then did pastel highlights. My hair was soft, with no breakage and she finished early before her next appointment. My final bill was so much less than I expected. I have found my permanent hairdresser and I am willing to drive from Orange Park just for the EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONALISM FOLKS! Not to mention she has a shampoo head massage thats to die for and I am a massage therapist and was MELTING in the chair.. LOVED IT! This is what you want and if you come to Carter and any one at the Twelve Hair Studio that is what you will get.

    I called The Twelve Hair Studio and they were quick to get me in. I drove right over and sat down in Carters chair. She gave me exactly they haircut that I wanted.When I called I asked about a beard trimming. as Carter was cutting she was careful and asked me a few times how it was looking to make sure she didnt cut to much off. When I spun around for the final time my beard looked PERFECT.On top of the great cut Carter and Sam were both extremely friendly and easy to talk to.
