    I went to Tiger Lilly Salon yesterday for a session with Alexus and I couldnā€™t be happier with my experience. The salon itself is very relaxing and clean. The other stylists are friendly and make easy conversation which made for a relaxing atmosphere. I told Alexus that I wanted to have a vibrant redhead look and she did all her magic from there. She asked questions and used photos to make sure she knew what I wanted. Three hours later and my hair was perfect and flawless. I got so many compliments on my hair today! I will definitely continue to book with her for future visits. Check out her IG @colorbyalexus and see her work. I highly recommend Alexus to anyone looking for a friendly and talented stylist.

    I had Joey as my hair stylist and OH MY GOD Joey is the BEST! I waited 3 years to get my hair cut because I had such a hard time finding someone I could trust. I finally landed on Joey after doing much searching for someone I thought could do exactly what I wanted and who was LGBTQ+. Joey did amazing, sincerely a truly jaw dropping job. Joey provided a super informative and a super collaborative process which resulted in an amazing haircut (not to mention they are so fun to talk with). Joey is also very skilled at working with curly hair and taught me so much on how to work with and style my hair past just using heat tools to define the curls or straighten it. The salon its self is also so nice and laid back which made me feel 1000 times more comfortable than any other salon Iā€™ve walked into. HIGHLY recommend Joey and Tiger Lily salon.

    Had an amazing appointment with Alexus!! I wanted to go brighter for summer and I absolutely love how it turned out. In addition to doing an amazing job in the salon, Alexus is also so knowledgeable about home hair care and has helped me build a routine thatā€™s maintainable and leaves me feeling great about my hair all the time.

    I thought my bangs were ruined after a bad cut elsewhere and had planned to just grow them out and try again in the future. Thankfully, Olivia worked her magic and completely fixed them. They look amazing!! She was so lovely, listened to exactly what I wanted, and made sure I left happy. Also, the salon itself is so cute! Love the decor and overall vibe. I had such a great experience and will be coming here for any future services. Highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a talented stylist who truly cares!

    Joey was so awesome and knew exactly what he was doing. Iā€™m new to having an undercut, and he had really helpful insight and advice for how to style it all. 10/10 would recommend (and will return)! The salon is also so comfy and cozy and I felt immediately at home.

    **I am writing this review after seeing Olivia for 18 months**I could not recommend a hair stylist more than Olivia. She is honestly everything!!I came to Olivia in March 2023 with jet black hair that I had been box dying šŸ˜…šŸ˜… and I wanted a blonde balayage. That was a huge task. Olivia explained it would take a few session of bleaching, blonding, cutting the dead ends to get what I wanted.We started the process and by the end of my third session, I did indeed have exactly what I have always wanted. My hair blended so amazingly, itā€™s what I had always dreamed about but had been too scared to trust someone to actually do.Every time I went in, we would discuss my hair health and she recommended products I have religiously used to keep my hair growing and healthy. Itā€™s obvious how much she cares about her craft, and she truly is an artist at what she does.I also want to comment on her physical space as well. When you walk into her salon, you are transported into another place, and itā€™s epic. Every piece of furniture to wall accent to frame shows how much of herself Olivia has poured into her salon. And itā€™s beautiful. The space is so welcoming, colorful, and fun to be in- you canā€™t help but just be happy there.Olivia is not just the best hairstylist Iā€™ve ever found, but sheā€™s also a genuinely amazing person.If youā€™re nervous or scared about doing anything to your hair, let this review be what ends your hesitancy, and go to Tiger Lily Salon.     I saw Joey after my long term hair stylist moved hours away. I will gladly admit I am annoying client - I trust my stylist to know better than me because theyā€™re way more in the trenches with hair than I am. I am 100% the client that will say ā€œplease just make me look good.ā€ Joey took my indecisiveness and asked specific questions and let me read and look through his books (which had a fascinating amount of hairstylist jargon) to make sure I was comfortable. He was so willing to work with me and check in with me. He also took NO OFFENSE at me essentially telling him I needed a style that would ensure we would see each other as little as possible. I am leaving my review after washing and styling my own hair at home and - no shocker - it looks great. Highly recommend.

    Joey was wonderful! I went in for a big change and had my about mid back hair chopped to shoulder length and I absolutely love it! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There are some sweet pups here to, made sure to pay the pet tax to Barry. Ive got some great hair color ideas to think about for when I book my next appointment. šŸ˜

    I booked with Maggie and when I tell you this was the best experience Iā€™ve ever had, itā€™s true! She walked me through everything that she was going to do and what the realistic expectations were for my hair (because I was walking in a hot mess) and I could not have been happier with the results!     I am sort of new to the area and was looking for a good place that was good with blondes and some other cool colors. Thatā€™s when I found this salon. Maggie not only makes me feel like a brand new women when I leave but I feel at home when Iā€™m there. They are all so friendly and I never have my complaints when I leave.     Joey gave me my first real haircut and did such an amazing job. he made me so comfortable i felt like i was just hanging out with a friend the entire time. by the time he was done i was almost ready to cry because id never seen my curls look so healthy. not only that but he took the time to give me an entire routine to keep them that way. 5 days later im still looking in the mirror in disbelief. i wont even think about going anywhere else next time. thank you so much joey and tiger lilly

    I saw Joey for a haircut as a returning client. I leave the chair satisfied (and frankly, overjoyed) with the cut and process every time.Joey is very patient and willing to work with clientele and their specific needs. He discusses all aspects of the haircut and talks through all changes being made.I brought reference photos and he made sure I knew how different styles would look and explained the differences in a way I could understand.During the hair cutting process, he told me what he was doing as he did it. When I was unsure of how the cut was laying by my sideburns, he took the time to discuss options and how they would look, and helped me decide on a cut that best fit me.He goes above and beyond with his methods - he doesnt just take the reference photo and recreate to get you out of his chair; he talks through the photo and personalizes the haircut to meet your specific needs. You can tell he really cares about clients needs and is passionate about client satisfaction.Additionally, this salon is LGBTQ+ friendly, which creates a very welcoming environment. (and the salon is cute!)As a person in the lgbt community, hair is extremely important and personal - and Joey treats clients with this importance in mind. I highly recommend this salon (more specifically, Joey) if youre looking for a change that wont intimidate.

    Ari is incredible as everyone else has said! Iā€™ve been with her for four years now and have sent so many friends and family her way. She always takes the times to listen to what you want and help guide you in the direction to get the best outcome. I recently brought my mom to her and she also said it was the best haircut she has had in years. Wouldnā€™t go anywhere else!

    There are so many great things I can say about this salon but let me just tell you a bit about my experience. I drove 3 hours from Vero Beach to see Miss Ari and let me say she did not disappoint and over exceeded my expectations. Originally, I saw her on TikTok and knew I had to see her to do my hair. My hair had no life or dimension to it and Ari treated my hair with love like her own, and treated me like a friend. The energy in the salon is so kind and welcoming that I felt so safe and comfortable sitting in her chair. I will definitely be going out there again once my hair has grown out but the results are real! Loved my time here and such a beautiful atmosphere, you feel like youve entered the coolest zone ever. Not to mention, the cutest sweetest dogs I have ever met. Love this place!

    Edited after a year to emphasize that my positive opinion of Tiger Lilly salon, and specifically of Olivia, has only strengthened over time. She did what I didnt think possible, essentially erasing decades of home color and overall hair abuse, to bring me to my natural silver in a very healthy way. I get compliments on my silver curls DAILY, and its all thanks to her. Seriously she is just great, she really listens and is super invested in making sure Iā€™m happy with my hair. I truly could not be happier!

    Had the pleasure of getting a cut here with Olivia. I havenā€™t had great haircut experiences in Jacksonville and usually get a below-average cut every time so Iā€™ve been hesitant to try anything new. However, Olivia was able to give my hair life again and was thorough and friendly throughout my time there. Sheā€™s also an awesome barista!     Ari is literally the best ever! I just moved to Jax and desperately needed to do a large chop but I was feeling sad about losing a lot of length.     I have curly and straight hair both which has proven to be so difficult that I have pretty much left it in a bun my entire life. I was feeling very frumpy lately and Olivia was recommended to me.     Olivia did my hair cut and color for the first time last week and did an exceptional job! The consultation alone was about half an hour and very thorough, and then she went to work and made magic happen! I needed some color correction and she did exactly what I asked for.     My amazing experience with Olivia started with a text! I was calling different salons, looking to set an appointment to color the ends of my hair. Olivia was the only one who took the time to share her honest thoughts. She promised to take good care of me, and she definitely delivered!! Her salon is so cute! She was so easy to talk to, and took everything I said into consideration. A stylist who LISTENS!!!! I was amazed at the final result. Sheā€™s like a magical being who totally transformed my hair.     Super cute space and awesome decor.Very clean and the bathroom smelt amazing.I got a trim and deep conditioning treatment and my hair looks and feels a million times better.Maggie was quick and efficient and she also did my 10 year olds hair perfectly.     Coming to this salon was such an amazing experience!! Maggie is freaking awesome and worked some miracles yesterday! I felt like I knew her forever and came out with much better hair than I couldā€™ve EVER hoped for ā¤ļø If I could give 10 stars I would.Hereā€™s some backstory about my hair. I had cowboy copper hair for fall, and then cherry red hair throughout winter using red color depositing masks, about a month ago had the wonderful idea of trying to bleach the red tones out of my hair by myself (DO NOT TRY TO DO THIS!!!). Failed miserably and just lived with it. Went and saw Maggie yesterday, she gave a realistic timeline on how we could get to my hair goals of an ash blonde balayage and got to work! After around 5 hours I left with even gorgeous hair than I couldā€™ve ever hoped for!! Maggie you have boosted my confidence so much and I am so thankful for your expertise!! I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an amazing, sweet, caring stylist in the Jacksonville area! Not to mention the salon vibe is awesome and the owner is super dope as well!     The struggle looking for our forever salon was ongoing until my 14yo sat in Joeys chair today. We got everything we wanted and more!!!     I moved to Jacksonville and bounced around from salon to salon until I found Olivia. I have been going to her for at least six years now. Iā€™ve followed her from other salons but in her own salon is where she really shines because sheā€™s able to take her creativity to a whole new level. Aside from her spectacular talent, she is fun and dynamic and a breath of fresh air. She also cuts my 9yo sonā€™s hair and he has never had a cut he doesnā€™t like (and thatā€™s saying something because this kid is particular).     Olivia Jane is absolutely amazing! For years Iā€™ve had the same balayage, and was just ready for a change. I did research for a couple of months to find a stylist that seemed to know their redā€™s. I saw some photos of Oliviaā€˜s work and was sold! I just had my second appointment with her and couldnā€™t be more thrilled with her attention to detail, confidence, and expertise with my hair.     Iā€™ve been looking for a new hair stylists and chose Olivia at random because she is located in my area and had positive reviews. And WOW, I am so glad I did! I havenā€™t been excited about a haircut in several years as I have very long and straight hair. I just feel that it always looks the same but shorter when I leave the salon...never anything exciting. Iā€™m happy to report that that pattern has been broken because this week Olivia gave me some amazing layers and an insane blowout to go along with the new look!     The salon is so gorgeously decorated and Maggie is amazing, especially when I woke up the day after my haircut and decided I wanted to go even shorter and she squeezed me in to make it happen! Will definitely be back and have found the salon Iā€™ve been looking for in Jax!
