I stumbled on this salon because it was near my house and I saw that Joni specialized in curly hair. Having tried expensive devacuts before and wanting to switch to a salon closer to home, I was eager to get an appt. I hadnt cut my hair professionally in over a year and was looking pretty scruffy. I came in for highlights and a cut and Joni was so kind and attentive right from the beginning. She took the time to really understand what I was going for with my hair and spent hours getting exactly what we discussed. She is hands down the most knowledgeable stylist Ive ever met regarding curls! I left feeling like I had a totally new set of curls on my head and plenty of styling tips and product recommendations. If youre looking for individualized attention and a true curl specialist, Joni is the best!

I have been going to Joni for 4 years now and I have never been disappointed. She knows how to cut my hair so that my curls are gorgeous. I have also changed my hair color a few times and my hair always feels clean and not damaged. Joni takes time to create a wonderfully positive experience, that you will leave from super happy! I would definitely suggest this to anyone, and especially those with curly hair!

Joni is a true expert at curly or wavy hair!! She will show you how to care for and style it just the way YOU want. Generous with her time and expertise, Joni improved the look, feel and health of my hair on the first visit. She helped me look forward to doing my hair (thats saying a lot). Absolutely wonderful stylist!

I have been with Joni since 2009 and have never looked back! She is all around an amazing woman and stylist and doesnt let me walk out of her salon without a smile on my face. She actually takes the time with you and makes sure youre getting what style you want and what best frames your face and how to maintain it. I am low maintenance for the most part - so she tells me ways I can keep my style going without spending too much time on my hair every day and it still looks great. Highly, highly recommend!

I just moved to Florida and Palm Beach County in 2016 and consider myself extremely fortunate to have found Joni and Salon Apothecary. I was searching for a salon or stylist that specialized in curly hair and Jonis name kept coming up so I made my first appointment on Saint Pattys Day 2016. Joni is the BEST! Not only is she is a master with curly hair, she is a curly girl herself! Joni understands hair texture, color and of course - curls. She truly listens to what you want, what your goals are, and then - how to realistically get there. My hair has never looked better! Joni fixed my issues with previous bad cuts and inferior products. My curls are fantastic! I love my curly hair again and I get tons of compliments! I highly - highly - highly recommend Joni at Salon Apothecary! Joni truly has curl intuition!

Love Love Love this Salon! I have been with Joni since I moved to S. FL 3 years ago. Shes nothing short of the best! I was looking for someone who specialized in curls. Since our first meeting she has always sat with me and discuses my hair concerns and what I am looking for. Every appointment you get that personal touch from her and because of that I have never left her chair without being fully satisfied! She a wonderful hairstylist and amazing person!

I went in there for a haircut and was completely just blown away at how much Joni cared about what she was doing. I’ve had curly hair all my life and she help educate me on how to take care and maintain my mane. I walked out feeling fresh and new. I absolutely will be coming back to get my haircut here, consider me a new regular.

Joni is a curly hair goddess. She absolutely knows what she is doing and takes the time to make sure she understands what youre looking for. Ive had my curls both long (mid-back) and short (collarbone) with Joni, and she has made both lengths look and feel fantastic. If you have curly hair, Joni is a must!

Joni has given me the best haircuts--and the best hair--of my life!!! I spent the last 20 years pulling my hair back every single day because that was the only way it stayed off my face and looked good. This cut looks fantastic, and stays off my face with out having to always be pulled back into clips. I couldnt be happier!!!

Loved my experience with Joni. She makes you feel welcomed and she doesnt treat you as though youre only someone whose hair she is cutting. She gets to the science of your curls and what you should do for them with the aftercare. I will most definitely recommend her and go back.
