Ive been patronizing Dominican salons since childhood. Its a cultural experience. Plan on spending a lot more time at the salon than you expected. If the stylist is good, they are over booked and are working multiple clients at once. They will stop what they are doing to answer a cellphone call, talk to the guy who comes into the shop and sells clothes out of his trunk, or that other guy who sells the empanadas. Thats just the way it is. So if you want in and out and your hair to look just ok patronize the gringo salons. I have a Dominican salon just a few miles from my house but I travel out of my way to go to Facelook salon because of Ivette. She is passionate about hair and truly cares about her clients. A person can enter the salon for the first time and Ivette along with the rest of the stylists treat you like family. Most importantly your hair comes out fabulous! Remember the shop is just a space. What matters is the quality of the work and how well you are treated. If you decide to visit Facelook (which I highly recommend) pack a lunch or bring some money for and empanada and enjoy the experience.

The owner is courteous. You show her exactly what you and it gets done. Expertise in Hair styles and colors has been100%. She worked at JCPENNEY and I was so pleased that I followed her to her new business.

Amazing!!! my go to IVETT, although everyone there is very friendly and professional, very nice salon enjoyed my experience, my hair is always looking amazing. Highly Recommend
