    My first time at LEVEL UP Salon and it was really a great experience. My hair was in pretty bad shape. I had damage from coloring/bleaching, split ends, and it hadnt been trimmed in a while. I definitely expected it to look better after my cut/styling with Janet but she just amazed me with the transformation. My hair looked beautiful when she was finished and I honestly could hardly believe it. She is so talented. Very kind person as well.I could not have been more pleased. When I got home my suster thought Id had extensions! Lol. She said I cant believe its your hair! Thanks so much Janet! Ill definitely be back! I highly recommend LEVEL UP Salon.

    After living and flowed for five years, for several reasons, I needed to find a new salon. I did my own research and found a salon that was certified in Brazilian blowouts and was reasonably close to my house. I found a new home!First, the salon is welcoming and beautiful. Very relaxed environment. My stylist Margarita took the time to get to know me. She chose a color from the Wellar (spelling?) products they use that most closely matched my hair color. The color was wonderful. So much shine! And the cut is absolutely perfect.I made sure to book my next appointment before I left today!

    I haven’t gotten my hair done in 3 years. When I went in I was warmly greeted and Marisol took me back. We talked about how I had envisioned my hair and she showed me the prices then it was makeover time. She was amazing, uplifting, and so sweet. Can’t believe how she transformed my hair. I feel so confident and amazing now ready to take on the world. Such an amazing team I’m so glad I went to Level Up.

    Marisol is an absolute sweetheart! I was in Orlando for vacation, but I plan on booking with her again when Im back in a couple months. I was really nervous going to someone new because Ive actually been a hair stylist for over 20 years and own a salon in Massachusetts. (I didnt tell her, because I didnt want to make her nervous lol). I was not only impressed with her work, but also her kindness and compassion. The salon is gorgeous and has a very calming atmosphere. Im looking forward to coming back!

    I havent had my hair done in several years so it looked like a disaster. I was already upset about how passive and rude the receptionist was to me by phone twice prior to my appointment, even telling me it was salon policy not to disclose her name, while she is answering the phone, respresenting the business. However, when I arrived, I was greeted by Lissette ( the hair stylist) who was so welcoming and friendly that I forgot about my first negative impression I initially had. She not only gave me the best haircut and highlights that I have ever had anywhere but she took time before to actually go over what I wanted, and to teach me several things that I never knew about the process. She was a breath of fresh air compared to the normal experiences I have had in the past decade, which is why I stopped visiting salons in the first place. This experience was worth the money and I THANK THE MANAGER FOR RECOMMENDING HER. :) The salon was clean and modern. They ever offered me a glass of wine and I was attended to the entire time. It was such a pleasant experience and I look forward to coming back again ☺️. THANKS!!

    Stylist: MargaritaMy hair: long, no color, pitch black, thickI asked for: long cut, soft layers, long bangs, face framing and a V shape in the back.Salon: clean and nice environment, music was not loud which was nice. I was offered a drink as well and the receptionist was very nice.Review: She’s the 4th stylist I’ve tried and I’m happy to say I found my girl! She truly listened to what I wanted, accommodated my allergies to scented products and recommend a new mousse I can use for volume. I really liked her approach to layering my hair as it seemed very thorough. She was focused on her craft throughout. She was also very friendly and easy going. It was comfortable to be in silence or chat a bit, so she was flexible. 5/5 I will be coming back moving forward!

    This was my first time here since I live in Tampa and am only in town for work for a couple weeks, but really needed a haircut.Unfortunately, I got held up at work and was 15 minutes late and close to closing time. Thankfully, Elvis still accommodated me, trimmed my eyebrows, cut my hair perfectly, and still even washed it afterward. Great service and the place has a nice, calming atmosphere. Didn’t feel rushed at all despite being late and arriving right before closing. Definitely recommend, especially since it’s not a pricey as some other higher end salons.

    To start, the service at Level Up was outstanding. The receptionist over the phone was able to book me same day with Marisol. When I walked in, everyone was so nice and friendly. I was nervous to try a new salon but I am so relieved to find one I love. Marisol knew my vision and made great suggestions for my hair. She was attentive, kind, and positive. I can’t wait to go back!

    First time customer here & new to the area! I recently got my hair washed , trimmed & flat ironed by Lissette. I’m very big on reviews and I do not do good reviews if I didn’t have a great experience, even though a wash isn’t something I should worry about I trusted Lissette to trim my hair to retrieve a healthier look and she did just that! She always ASKED me before she did something . I let her know she’s the expert and I did not mind her cutting those split ends! Had a minor issue in regard to the services I was charged for but the manager handled that tremendously and with all due respect i appreciate her for that! The products used were great because my hair never had volume to it after leaving my previous salon and I’m here to say you can tell a major difference from what Lissette did to my hair! I will definitely be returning!!

    Lissette Reyes and Levelup Salon exceeded my expectations. The salon was beautiful and clean. The receptionist was very welcoming, thank you Amar. After browsing around looking for a hair salon and a good hair stylist, I found Lissette. I found so many reviews about her since she had so many beautiful comments. I then, decided to give myself a chance with Lissette and Yes! She gave me exactly the color and cut I wanted. I loved the way she did my hair. Great communication, passion and care.     Five stars is absolutely not enough for what Level Up did. Sorry for the length of this review, but there arent enough words that can possibly explain my extreme gratitude and elation for the devoted and heroic effort of the girls at Level Up for saving my wifes long blond hair in an extreme hair knot emergency. Tamara, Rose, Janet, and Marisol ALL played a key role in saving my wifes hair. We are not even sure how it happened, but my wife wrapped her freshly washed hair in a bun (like she has done countless times before) and went about her day, and 4 hours later when she took off the hair tie, there remained a large knot of hair that was SO tight it felt like someone dropped a golf ball sized glob of glue in her hair. We could not get it out, no matter what we tried. We googled it and tried every suggestion on google to no avail. It was already midnight so no place was open to call. We asked one person we know that used to do hair for her help, drove to her home at 1am and she tried to work on it for 5 minutes and said that its going to have to get cut out. My wife was absolutely DEVASTATED, she loves her long hair and it took well over 10 years to grow. I said no, we will get this out, and I took her home and worked on it until 6am trying to get this knot out, using 3 tubes of leave-in conditioner to try and loosen this up. I managed to loosen it up a bit, but was nowhere near getting it out. She broke down sobbing, that we would not get this knot out and she would have to cut all her hair off and she did not want that. Next morning I called Level Up based on their better Google Reviews over a nearby competitor and explained the situation to Rose and pleaded with her to save my wifes hair. Rose gave her an appointment for noon Friday. When we got there, Rose and Tamara met her at the door and couldnt have been sweeter. They sat her down and assessed the situation and acknowledged this was something they NEVER saw before, but they would get this out for her no matter how long it would take. My wife didnt care how long, as long as they could get it out and save her hair. On Friday the team of Tamara, Rose, and Janet ALL worked feverishly all day at the same time on her hair, until 5pm....they got the knot down at least 50%....but still had a lot to go. We arranged for my wife to get back there at 9am Saturday. She was scared and stressedand barely slept that night because she was SO scared they wouldnt be able to succeed and she would lose her long beautiful hair. No amount of reassuring helped her. Saturday morning 9am, she was met at the front desk by Janet, Rose, and Marisol and they immediately began their magic. I left to do some work at home and got a call around noon from my wife THEY GOT IT OUT and she was SO happy she was crying! They didnt have to cut anything out! Some of her hair was damaged and broken from being knotted and them having to more or less dig at the knot for 8-9 hours, but her length was saved! They then decided to cut about 5 inches of damage off, and it still looks absolutely FANTASTIC, my wife loves how her hair looks now and is so grateful she still has her length. Everyone says she looks younger with her new hairdo! She was SO happy and I am forever grateful to Tamara, Rose, Janet, and Marisol for their patience and willingness to keep going, their devotion to succeeding, their warmth and friendliness keeping my wife calm in time of extreme stress offering her snacks and water to make her feel comfortable, and their sheer determination to achieve this goal successfully....I simply cannot ever thank them enough. I hope the owner and manager of Level Up will recognize these angels that were sent from above to deliver this miracle of saving my wifes hair. THANK YOU ALL A MILLION TIMES!!! If you ever have any hair emergency that you need fixed immediately, dont worry they even take walk-ins! Including some before and after pics.

    Lissette did a cut and perm for me! Wow! She was so easy to talk to but also comfortable with silence, which I appreciate. She did a consultation beforehand and really listened to me, asked for photos of what I wanted, etc. I am so pleased with the results! I had had a bad perm before and I thought my hair wouldn’t “take curl”, but she proved that wrong and got me beautiful, consistent curls. She took time to educate me on how to style at home.     I Recently was seen for a Full set of volume lashes done by Crystal, and they are everything I needed and more! She is so gentle during the service and it’s so relaxing! I kept falling asleep because she makes you so comfortable! Best of all her work is beautiful! The space itself is so posh, I love the dark decor and the way she styles her space. The salon overall is gorgeous and everyone is so warm and friendly, I give a 10/10 and 5 stars,!

    Between the gray taking over and the Florida sun baking my hair I found myself desperately needing a color treatment before I would be back home in NJ. I was nervous choosing a salon I had never been to but after reading some reviews I chose Level Up and I am so glad I did. The salon has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Adelfa was fabulous. She listened and took the time to hear what I needed and made me feel very at ease. She gave my hair exactly what it needed. I walked out looking and feeling great and completely satisfied with the whole experience. Level Up will certainly be my “go to” salon whenever I’m here in Florida.

    Ive been coming here for about a year to see Tamara, and I always love my hair appointment days! The salon itself is really comfortable and everyone is always friendly. My hair has pretty much always received the most basic care, and Ive never really known how to help it look its best. Ive been maintaining a blue peekaboo since I started coming here and I absolutely love the color. During the last year, Ive gotten into hair care and Tamara pretty much changed my life with a different haircut. Thanks to losing about a foot of hair, some great layering, and me taking the time to learn a good routine for my natural texture, my waves have never looked better!     Krystal is an incredibly talented artist! My wife recently visited Krystal for lash extensions and the results were nothing short of glamorous, natural, and flirty. Unlike other lashing chains that my wife has visited in the past, Krystals work was tasteful and classy, customized to suit my wifes face. The transformation was so noticeable that I couldnt help but notice my wifes beauty from every angle. Krystals work is a recipe of her talent and her ability to connect with her clients clearly she is one who has transformed the brows and lashes of many other satisfied customers. My wife has even mentioned feeling pretty from the inside out after her visit with Krystal. We have loved all the ladies at Level Up, but Krystal is truly a gem. If you havent booked an appointment with her yet, youre missing out!

    I have been coming here for years and Anne is very talented with cutting my short hair and coloring it. The salon is spotless and everyone here is considerate and kind. They have expert skills and customer service is the best! Loan is so talented with doing my manicure and pedicures and love her spotless salon here!     Lissette did my haircut. My hair is all one color so the cut needs to be interesting, but I struggle to find a professional that can do layers properly. Most of the time they end up choppy and poorly blended. Not with Lissette! She cut my hair from multiple angles to make sure the layers were perfectly blended while still keeping the length I desired. If you need someone that can excel a layered cut, look no further!

    Level Up is exactly like the name! They will bring your hair to a new level. I love Anne and She has been taking care of my hair for 8 years.     If I could give many more than a mere 5 stars for my experience at Level Up it still would not fully describe my level of satisfaction. I had been wearing my hair long to wear in 1880s (not a typo) style to perform living history in a Victorian mansion in Richmond, VA for years, so I did not require the services of a hair stylist. Now, years older and a recent transplant to Florida, I really, really needed a total do-over and a very experienced hair stylist to accomplish that. I found Level Up and Lissetta and I am so pleased that I did. After so many years I was nervous to go to a short hairstyle but within just a few minutes I had total confidence in Lissetta. She very patiently took time to explore the style I was looking for, showing me different styles on her smartphone, making suggestions for what would look best, and I could not be happier with the result.     I have to leave a review for Amy G., the stylist who cut my hair. She is AMAZING! This was my first time at the salon. I was referred by a friend. My hair was in pretty bad shape. Long, blonde with major breakage at the ends and unevenness in the front. I wanted to get it healthier looking but keep the length. Amy did such a thorough consultation, made sure I was okay with what we plan to cut off, took her time and kept checking with me before she continued trimming length/dead ends. My hair looks and feels a million times better. It’s even and still long. She worked magic. Probably the best hair cut I ever got!!! Today was the first time shampooing and styling my hair after the cut, and wow the blow out looks amazing, full body and holds the style since all the dead ends are gone.
