    I found Genesis on social media. I have curly hair and it’s very hard to find someone who knows what kind of cut I want and need. Genesis has such a good vibe, she made me feel comfortable, it was natural to her. I absolutely love my hair. She listened to what I wanted and told me what I needed. It came out just as expected.

    So far I have had two appointments with Genesis and I can’t wait to continue going!! The first time I went to her I was super nervous because I had never had anything done to my hair besides the occasional trim. But I decided to trust her and let her do her thing and I am so glad I did! My hair is the healthiest it has EVER been and I get so many compliments on it. Not only that, but her space is so cute and she really does get to know you on a personal level. If you need a hairstylist you can trust, she is definitely your girl 🥰

    Genesis was surpassed my expectations! She took the time to sit down first and ask me exactly what I was trying to achieve she LISTENED and then some. My highlights came out the most beautiful color and look so natural and blended. Grey/white is hard to achieve while keeping the integrity of the hair in tact…that’s was her priority. My haircut was the perfect length and perfectly layered too! I appreciated her attention to detail. I love that Genesis guarantees her work, not many stylists do this.     If the hair salon was a kitchen ms. genesis would be thee master chef because she absolutely COOKED with my hair cut. her understanding of curls & pattern & shape almost seems innate to her and i genuinely don’t know how, but i’m so thankful for her knowledge and care.this is the first time i’ve left a salon where i’ve felt the person who cut my hair actually cared/understood it in years, and its also the first time in years i’ve left feeling confident walking out the door—so many places aren’t for us and will cut our hair sopping wet with no understanding of shrinkage, nor will they even have products meant for our hair to thrive the way they were meant to, but genesis takes so much time and care with genuine finesse, & knowledge. i will be back, and i highly recommend her if you were scrambling to find someone as someone with curly hair. thank you so much gen. :]

    Simply put AMAZING! My only regret is that I didnt go to her first!!! She had to fix a tragedy on my head because I went to someone who claimed they knew .. long story short .. she didnt. Genesis mailed it! She is fantastic!!!! from the moment I walked in and saw products us curly girls use, didnt smell chemicals, and certain tools we use (yes curly hair devas you know what Im taking about & she has them all!). Her knowledge, guidance, recommendations spot on! I already booked my follow up and even my fiance is setting her apt with her as well. I BEYOND recommend her.     Genesis did an absolutely amazing job on my hair! I came in with very damaged, dull, and heavy curls, but she was able to revive them like new! She took the time to welcome me into her space and told me exactly what she was doing as she did it.     I had a great experience with Genesis! I wear hearing aids in my ears and I let her know beforehand… she was so accommodating and respectful. I have 2 young kids and still need my hair to be out of the way… she took away my split ends and breakage but still gave me the length that I wanted. As a mom that doesn’t get a lot of “me time” nowadays, I felt so happy for the care that Genesis provided to my hair and to see the finished product.

    Am so glad I found this gem on google! I was in need of a big chop but I was looking for someone who understands curly hair and would cut it for me.     Its been a beautiful long hair journey with Genesis after a year and a half im still left amazed by her work! I always come in indecisive which isnt the easiest for hairstylist but Genesis gives it her 100% to ensure your happy before the session even begin which for me is huge!     GM is THE BEST!! It had been 5 years since the last time I let a stylist touch my hair because of bad experiences. I took the time to grow it out so I could donate a large length when I was finally ready to trust someone to style my hair.     I’m not a big fan on changing my hairstylist but I needed a new one. I was fortunate enough to stumble onto Genesis IG page from friends. I called her to set appointment, she answered within three rings. She is extremely professional and kind. Explaining what I wanted, she had ask a few question that has caught by surprise. I was glad because no hairstylist asked me about my hair history before. She tested my hair first to see if it possible to do a purple balayage. After 4 plus hours my hair turned out gorgeous. She fixed my previous cut my hair into better layers and styled it. I was not planning to but she cleaned my brows too, they turned out great. She made being in the time the chair actually fun time. Genesis is a reasonable and genuine person. She is not a typical hairstylist. She actually cares for your hair. I’ve been blessed to have found her. I recommend her 1000% to anyone from child to adult, no matter of the gender.

He explained the entire procedure to me and educated me on the best management and treatment of my hair at home.
