    This place is a whole experience. If youre looking for excellent service, you found it. Shannon was magnificent. I loved how she asked me all the questions needed to figure out my best fit. I honestly havent found a hairstylist who would be so great since forever! They have great services available and the customer service is top notch.

    I met with Deanna for a consultation. I have 2 separate colors. Being from another state I was a bit nervous. She did an amazing job. She is an expert in her field. Such a kind & professional person. I highly recommend her & will definitely use her again. The Salon is clean and the staff are all very friendly. 👏🌹

    If you want an amazing haircut and style, you have found the place! Cheryl Caravallo really knows how to listen to what you want and turn your plain look into something amazing! She is so personable and patient as I explained what works for my hair and what I hoped for. She exceeded my expectations!! I highly recommend her and the friendly environment at Above and Beyond! 🤩

    I highly recommend Shannon! She is an expert in hairdressing and extremely talented! She just did my hair for the first time and I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am. She listened to what I wanted, and she paid special attention to every detail for my color, cut, and style. I am also very impressed with the salon. It has that small town charm. It is very well organized, clean, and the staff is so helpful and friendly. I am so happy to have a salon like this in LK Placid!

    The experience is always delightful. The hair dressers are top notch, and the salt room is amazing when youre just not feeling well. Nail tech Samantha is amazingMy nail never comes off even after a full month. Love everyone that works here.

    Marcie does a fantastic job! She has been my nail tech for over 3 years. I like simple but flashy nails and her creativeness has exceeded my expectations. I have also received a few facials. The European facial is amazing.

    Having moved from Broward County two months ago, I was looking for a nail and hair salon that would be a great fit for me. Above and Beyond Hair & Nails is just the perfect place! Their staff is wonderful, their helpful website is super convenient, their shop is adorable, but importantly, the quality of their services is top notch!If you’re looking for a nail artist, look no further! Marcie Bivins is an Amazing nail tech. She makes sure that her work is flawless and really helps you decide on what you would like your manicure to look like. She’s very patient and sweet! Love the entire experience!!!!

    I am currently traveling the country and have struggled to find a good nail place. The techs Ive encountered do not speak good English and will not listen to what I need. One tech ground my nails down so much and caused a lot of damage. . The girls at Above and Beyond were GREAT! They worked with me to fix my nails! They were friendly and helpful and fun!

    Cheryll is an excellent haircutter and stylist. I have never been so happy with a haircut and I have had my hair cut in NYC, Philadelphia, Bethlehem, PA and down here.She listened to me and then went to work cutting and layering my hair so it fit me and my face perfectly. She’s really pleasant and very welcoming. I have never made a return hair cut appointment but I did this time as I am so thrilled with Cheryl and her abilities to cut my hair perfectly. The atmosphere was pleasant, the price was reasonable and I’ll be happy to go back.

    The staff at the salon were very professional and kind. They did an amazing job on my sisters nails, which Im sorry to say was her last gift on earth. I would recommend this salon above any other in our area.

    Ive had several services done. Highlighting done by Shannon. Her work is phenomenal. Never disappointed. Ive had waxing by Marcie she is very professional and if you want it removed in any area she is your Wax Queen. Blowout by Cheryl is beautiful. She definitely made me feel beautiful and the blowout latest for days. Georgeous salon, great staff and the comroderity of the girls is wonderful to witness. A group of ladies that work great with eachother.

    I am a snow bird down in Lake Placid for the winter. This salon is wonderful. They do everything. Marcie is the best. She is gentle and kind. I had an awesome mani/pedi. Next time I will get flower art on my nails. I plan to get my eyebrows dyed, hair cut and color and eye lash extensions. I am so excited to discover Above and Beyond Hair & Body.     We just spent the afternoon in here with Erica and Samantha and could not be happier. After reviewing others in the area I am not surprised they had the best. The environment was relaxing and inviting. Connie came in and spent time as well which is always a nice touch from a business owner. Conversation was wonderful, and comfortable. Erica did a great job on my teenage daughters nails and Samantha made the pedicure time feel like bliss for my husband and I. Thank you all for getting us in while visiting your town.

    This place is the BEST! Thank you Marcie for my facial, gel manicure and pedicure. Erica did a great job cutting and styling my hair! They even have a salt therapy room which helped my respiratory problems. I’m going to miss it when we return to Ohio. Nothing compares!

    Mrs Connie is amazing at making sure you are taken care of ! I had a rough experience with a perm , but she helped me with products and how to bring my curls and hair back to life ! They are very sweet people here, they truly care about their clients!!!!

    Wow! I just have come across such a shocking review about my stylist and friend. I have known Shannon for several years now inside and outside of the salon and I have never witnessed such an allocation as to what was said in the previous comment. These hateful comments I can assure you are not true. Shannon goes out of her way for everybody. It sounds like even including you. You have stated that you miss appointments even with her reminders. That would not be tolerated in any business. Try doing that at a doctors office and see what happens. One persons personal problems should not be an indication of another. Shannon is a wonderful person and I think that a personal attack on another is immature and unacceptable. Above and Beyond most of all, Shannon, is a great place to relax and be pampered.

    I needed to find a new place to get my haircut in Lake Placid and took a chance and made an appointment with Samantha at Above & Beyond. My hair is short, thick and straight and I asked for a razor cut. She did a great job! I couldnt be happier with my haircut and will definitely be going back to Samantha.

    As a Flordia transplant from the Washington DC metropolitan area, I didnt expect I would ever find a salon that was as spectacular as the one I left behind. I was very lucky that I found Above & Beyond here in Lake Placid. The entire staff is wonderful & my stylist/manicurist Samantha Twiggs is amazing! She does it all, with a beautiful smile & super fantastic attitude! Trust me, coming from the land of a million salons, this place is hands down the best in town & maybe the best in Flordia! Two thumbs up with a twist!!!! 💜
