Erika is that girlie pop! I had the absolute pleasure of getting a spa manicure from her today, and she nailed it—literally and figuratively. She was gentle, detail-oriented, and made the whole experience feel so relaxing and pampering. My hands have never looked (or felt) this good. Last year I had a mishap with a boxed colour…. Someone changed the colour inside the box… I know “should have checked the box” , which typically I do. My hair went RED!!! Ugh!So Ive lived with it until 2 months ago.I found Lillian at Empire Beauty School.I wanted to go back to my blonde, and she started the process, doing highlights.I went back today and had Lillian continue her magic!!And what a wizard she is!!!My hair is GORGEOUS!!!You’ve only a couple months left on your journey at Empire and ready to start a new chapter in your life.Best of luck where ever you go, spread your magic you’re truly amazing!!!Thank you again for making me look so amazing!!

She recommended several hair products but there was no hard sell. The price was very inexpensive but I definitely feel like I got more than what I paid for. Ive literally never been happier with my hair. That being said Kristen did an amazing job. Back in October I saw her for a cut, we did a patch test (it was free) to make sure I didnt have any reactions to the developer, because I had mentioned that I wanted to dye my hair. Well, it took me a while to decide on my final look, but Wednesday I finally got the nerve to go back to get my fun colors. I knew I wanted vibrant colors, but not so much it was obnoxious. This was the first time Id ever gotten anything but natural colors. She matched my natural as we did grey coverage, (they were bad 🫣) while shed bleached the underside of my hair. Because of the time constraints of night school, I returned the next day, yesterday, and we completed the vibrants. We went with two colors, that she mixed perfectly to achieve the shade of blue and purple I wanted. Throughout the entire process her instructor Dan checked in on us and asked me how I felt the process was going. When I told him how comfortable she had made me and answered every question I had, he praised her, and then he went to help others with their clients. I walked in with the colors I had dreamed of in mind, showed her my inspo pic and she nailed it. The schools salon pricing is a fraction of a high end salon with the same outcome. I will definitely be following my new hair stylist after she graduates. Before and after photos with a video of the outcome.

I just came from getting another fantastic haircut from student Courtney Thornes at Empire Beauty School. Pleasant, attentive and skilled I got the cut I needed, as well as having my bushy eyebrows trimmed. Such a relief! I can see again! If youre having a similar issue please visit, Tuesday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 1:30 pm, but they may be open later on certain days. Please check for their Saturday schedule.

Realize I had a patch test done at an earlier date.I met Angie and her instructor. We had a short consultation, and they fully understood my concerns with color, because I have long natural red hair, and I wanted my natural color to be matched and brought back to life.Angie did a wonderful job. She worked confidently under the watchful eye of Mr. Robert. The color came out beautiful, shiny and silky smooth.I dont think this photo does it justice. Amazing service by April as always! Highly recommend! Also, her teachers were very helpful and encouraging the entire time I was there!Only disappointment was the bullying I witnessed by 2 young female students, the judgment and hatefulness that came from those 2 students while they pretended to wash hair was absolutely disgusting. I could only imagine a self conscious client sitting there and feeling uncomfortable, while those 2 girls sat and talked and laughed at everyone who had a conversation or walked by. Every person is paying to get an education or service there and it should be a judgement free zone but with those 2 students it definitely was not a comfortable time.

4/1/2025 Stephanie was my stylist today. We are doing a two color process starting with a lighter shade to take out the golden lower portion. On Friday I return to have low lights incorporated. I have had very thick, naturally curly hair all of my life until the past couple of years. Angel was fantastic in listening to what I wanted, I also had pictures, and made me feel pampered and relaxed. Shes a gem! 12/03/24.~~~~~~~~~~~~After a year+ of not being able to get out and have my hair cut due to various medical issues, today was the day! August 1, 2024.I refreshed my look with a cut and style by Megan. She listen to what I was seeking, referring to photos I brought, and Megan checked with the instructor, Miss Precious, for guidance and tips.The process was not rushed, relaxing, and I loved the finished look. I will be returning in the next week or two for a refresh or change in color, and I will request Megan for sure! I recommend Empire Beauty School for many affordable line of services. Every hair stylist started in cosmetology school!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I returned today, April 25, 2023, for my appointment for a cut and color. Shelby C. was assigned the week before to perform the services. Again, stellar work was performed from beginning to end! While additional product was needed to tone down my golden undertones, Shelby took the time and effort to achieve the effect desired. She didnt require constant reassurance or guidance, she trusted the skills Empire has taught their students. Mr. Robert kept an eye on the progress and quickly answered any questions that came up. The three of us were all very pleased with the final color, the cut, and the finishing touches Shelby applied. I highly recommend her! I will be back in six weeks for an appointment already scheduled with Shelby.--------------I have been a patron of beauty schools for many years. While others may be hesitant, the only way great stylists perfect their skills is by hands on experience. Especially on real individuals, not just mannequins. Recently I came in for a wash, cut and style. Genesis P. was assigned to my appointment. Not only did she take her time, when needed, she consulted with the instructors. From the gentle and relaxing wash and deep conditioning treatment, to a layered cut, blow dry and then curling with a curling iron, every process was done with precision and care. My hair is naturally curly and while I typically wear it natural, and dont routinely use heat elements on my hair to style it; this was a treat to myself. The Deep Hair Conditioning was wonderful. When Madison applied it, the temperature was cool with a touch of mint. My scalp felt so refreshed. It was a 4-step process: application to the scalp, scalp massage, second application of the conditioner to the hair shaft, then dryer time to allow the conditioner to seep into the hair and scalp. I will DEFINITELY be doing this again!
