    I came in with long hair pass mid back. I requested a style cut. Even showed the video to the hair stylist where it explained in the video what to ask for. All she did was give me layers. She didn’t round the bottom, she didn’t frame my face or give me the butterfly cut that I wanted. I then sat in her chair for 50 min for the stylist to blow dry my hair. For a basic blow dry I sat in her chair for that long. The hair drying took longer than the haircut. When I asked her how much longer it would be because I had to go home and get ready for work she had a little bit of an attitude and told me she was going as fast as she could. She also was using the round brush and snagged my hair several times. After I asked how much longer she snagged my hair even more than before. I’ve come here several times in my different hair cut journeys and will never come back. Seeing my hair length chopped off after growing it for a year and a half and still not getting the style that I requested is disheartening. If I could give zero stars I would.Edit: I was contacted by the manager Tara a day after I posted this review and she listened to me and had me come in to get the cut fixed. She was very apologetic and understanding. I posted the first photo from the first haircut where it wasn’t done correctly and the second photo is after it’s fixed. I love my hair and glad I went back to have it fixed.

    I have been coming to this location in North Lakeland Florida for a while now. Every time I come in I am greeted by my first name and feel like I matter. Customer service has pretty much disappeared except for here. Tara , always makes me feel like I am her only client and I feel appreciative and important! I will never go anywhere else. Thank you!!!!

    We came and got our hair trimmed up for the summer by the stylist Ashlynn and she did amazing!!!!She trimmed mine and my sons up as well with it being his first haircut I was nervous since I didn’t know what to expect but she was very patient and made the whole process a breeze!She also cut my husbands hair and his beard as well he wanted to shave it and I was skeptical but she worked her magic and he looks absolutely handsome.HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 🩷 She was very friendly, professional, and just all around amazing we’ll be returning for future cuts

    Angel was fabulous. She did a thorough consultation with me. She made sure that I knew the costs of my options. She gave me a great cut and then we did high lights. My family loves how it looks. It made me feel light and happier also.

She is without a doubt the best hairdresser at this salon or any other that Ive tried in the past few years, and I need to get my hair done every week.     I gotta tell you I was unsure going into the salon as Ive never been to this location, since moving into the area and LOVE Fantastic Sams. But may I tell you as I entered I was greated promptly and enthusiasticly. Checked in with ease and was quickly set up with Tanja Hickman. I quickly felt at ease when explaining what I was trying to achieve. She said Ive got his, I know what to do. Not only did she listen, she gave advice, chatted about all sorts of things and the outcome was exactly and more of my vision!! Kudos and Snaps for Tanja!! Ill be coming back!!

    This shop is very efficient yet homey, I have had a good experience with all the ladies there. Amy is the one who had tackled my moody, frizzy, curly, million different post cancer treatment hair, she is a miracle worker. She was recommended to me by my cousin and roommate and I love her personality. I have now taken all of my god children and several friends just because this place is the best for all types of hair cuts.

    I am astonished at the work that Mrs. Tara went through to help fix the highlighting And cut catastrophe of another’s work! spent several hours Fixing my razor cut (by Mrs.Cindy) and partial Highlight(by Mrs.Tara) I am beyond blessed and grateful to have come into this Fantastic Sams and allowed Mrs.Tara to correct the wrong that was done!     Had a great experience here. I do have someone I usually go to for haircuts but my schedule hasn’t allowed it lately and I decided to come to FS. Great consultation, Mila was knowledgeable and delightful. Got exactly what I wanted and for a reasonable price. For the record my hair is fine textured and curly and she knew how best to work with it as it can be a challenge.

    In March, a very bad colorist put a sliver in my hair ..Highlights. (I will not say where I went)It looked good for about two months, and then it started to have orange highlights.I found CHRIS at the 4267 US HWY 98 North Lakeland Fantastic Sams.I asked for low lights to take the orange out and match the actual color of my hair from the regrowth.Man, oh, man.His expertise was evident as the color transformed, leaving me with a look that was nothing short of fantastic.I was looking at haircuts, and I found one and asked Chris if I could pull this cut off.He said if he did not think so, he would tell me.I told Chris to do his magic, and WOW, he did.I would do more stars if I could.Great place.Chris is NOW my new Hair Dresser.

    I took my son my grandson and myself to get a haircut. the young lady that cut our hair is named Ruth she did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend fantastic Sams and I highly do recommend Ruth especially with the little ones, she did a great job! My grandson everyone was really happy when they see him, when we brought him home. Ruth had plenty of patients when It was my grandson turn.     I got a spiral perm from Kristy. If you go in bummed out she will pull you right out of it! I was nervous but soon I forgot about it. She did a great job that takes 4 hours which is normal for long hair. Everyone was so nice.

Shes a delight with her lovely smile, articulate with keeping the books, and helps to create a relaxed atmosphere. Shes a gem!Cindy C. is a stylist with an eye for detail. She listens and educates before she starts cutting. Shell show pics to confirm and knows how to focus to do the cut, color etc. She uses her time wisely. She checks her own work and will confirm before youre out of the chair. She truly listens; so even if youre not certain what you want exactly, shell help find a solution to fit your needs. Shes lovely to chat with & shes good with the quiet days too. No pressure either way. Shes relaxed & trustworthy. Im thankful to have found her. Having her cut & color my hair is a relaxing experience. (I no longer stress about it.) Shes my favorite stylist!Every time I go, I know it will be a pleasant atmosphere with people who care about taking care of their customers. They work together as a team and it shows!

    I use this Fantastic Sam’s every year we’re in Florida. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Tara is the best stylist I’ve ever had and wish I could fly down just for her to do my hair throughout the summer!! Give this place a try you definitely won’t be disappointed!!!!

    The folks here have been awesome! Ive come in twice now for a fashion color and Precious has done me good. Both times the color looks fantastic! The prices seem reasonable to me, although I havent been coloring my hair for long. Definitely recommend.

    I visited this salon tonight for the first time. I made my appt online a few days ago, which was very nice and easy to do. My original lady who does my hair at another salon was booked for a month and I didnt want to wait, so I took a chance here at Fantastic Sams. I did read reviews beforehand, and they were really good. So I was hopeful. My appointment was with Sharon. She did an amazing job today. Its so hard for me to find someone who actually does what you ask. I showed her a picture we talked a while about exactly what I wanted and she did it!! It was perfect and turned out beautiful!!! Even better then I expected. I will definitely be going back and will try to spread the word about this salon. Its really nice inside too. Very modern! Great experience from start to finish!

    Tara is my favorite she is nice and friendly. I have bad anxiety and I cant go anywhere to have my hair cut. My mom has been seeing her for years so I gave her a try and up front told her about my anxiety. She was so kind and sweet. It was the most pleasant hair cut I have ever had. I have been seeing her for 8 years now and am so comfortable with her I can now get a shampoo a cut and even a blow out. 2 years ago i even got a perm. She is AMAZING

    This is an A+ hair salon! I had a Japanese hair straightening treatment there and I loved the outcome! My hair is not wavy anymore. It looks straight and healthier now. Just as I wanted it! Isabel did an awesome job with my hair: she explained every little step of the treatment to me, and evaluated my hair to determine what the best product for it was. That was a real personalized hair care session! She was also always caring of how I felt or how comfortable I was. The manager and employees are all very polite and make you feel welcomed and taken care of too! Prices are convenient, the facility is always clean and the whole place is very professional! 100% recommended!!!

    All of the stylists are very warm and welcoming in the shop, Vanessa does my hair and shes very sweet and I absolutely love the way she cuts, colors and styles my hair. I am fairly particular but she meets every need with seemingly no effort at all. Ive left the place really digging on other cuts and colors being performed there as well. They definitely have a good vibe and great team there!

    First I have been haunting Fantastic Sams for over a decade and still go back. Tara is fantastic professionally gifted at her craft but I also find her charming and delightful. She puts the PERSON in personality. The salon is clean and inviting, sometimes hectic but Tara always seems cool, calm and professional. The staff greets me and they try to accommodate my needs as promptly as possible. In past years the leadership has changed and other hairdressers come and go.     I always have a nice cut from Kristy. She listens to me and cuts it the way I want it. I had an accident and cover part of my face with bangs. I need them below my eyebrows, and Kristy makes sure they are right. I would recommend them anytime you want a perfect cut!

    I went to Fantastic Sams to get highlights and a brow wax today. Great service, very clean salon. Amy was my stylist shes awesome my hair is done exactly the way I expected it to look like.     For starters, Isabel is a pure goddess to my hair. I wont go anywhere else. Colors, styles, cuts are all amazing. Love the atmosphere. Best bunch of ladies combined over any other.     The ease of getting an appointment is great. I never have to ask for a hair stylist by name because anyone that Ive ever used there has done excellent work. They all are courteous, take their time and make sure everything is to my liking. I only get shampoos and haircuts/layering but if I ever decide to color my hair professionally I would definitely use this specific Fantastic Sams. I highly recommend this hair salon to all my friends and family. Ive been going for years and have no plans to change anytime soon.

    Have tried for two years and at many different salons to get the simple bob cut I wanted. Several different stylists have appeared to listen, then gave me the cut they decided I needed, some with truly disasterous results. Heartfelt thanks to Sonja for listening and then asking questions as she cut.My husband had his hair cut at the same time. We both looked much better walking out than we did walking in.Great cuts, great service, great price. Made an appointment before leaving. Will definitely be recommending this Fantastic Sams to everyone I know.

    The best fantastic sams I’ve ever been too! Never a long wait, friendly staff, and neat and clean store. Vanessa is our family hair dresser and is AMAZING! However, all of the other staff members are super great too. I would recommend to anyone.

    Its your standard quick fix hair salon. If your looking for high end prices and high end quality, this isnt the place for you. Want a simple trim or to add a few layers, get a kids hair cut for a reasonable price then this is the place your looking for. Staff is usually friendly and they are very busy on the weekends so call ahead to make an appointment.

    Love Fantastic Sams and this convenient location in North Lakeland! Friendly and talented associates greet you, their cut and color work is great!     Love this place, its my 5th curly perm here!For a little over 100 dollars; I went from long, flat straight hair to tight, long, beautiful curls. Curly and springy like a phone cord! And if I fluff it up...I get big hair. The wait and the process is well worth it!Be patient for this look.For the look I wanted, per my request, they used pink rods (over 200 rods). Because I have thick hair, for me it always takes 2 hours to roll.My warning. if you dont know how to tame lots of little curls, this style is NOT for you. If you love brushes, this style is NOT for you. If you dont have time in the mornings to wet/pick/scrunch, this style is NOT for your. This specific style might freak you out.BUT.... I Love it!Ask for stylist Isabella!

    I only get my hair done here. They have fantastic stylists, reasonable wait times, and great customer service. I go to them for everything; hair cut, color, highlights and styling. I have curly hair and it is always difficult to find a place that knows how to cut and style my hair in a way that I like. Ive always left happy.

    I got my hair done here by Mireille Fils-Alphonse she was very pleasant and helpful in telling me what was best to do because my hair is damaged . She was helpful and honest on helping me pick a color and did a great job in cutting and styling my hair . I will definitly see her again . Good customer Service .

    I went to the N Lakeland shop and had the best experience! I had Vanessa do my color cut and shampoo. Once that was done she showed me how she did the blow drying and my color and cut is amazing! I will be going back!

    I went to this Salon on February 6 2015 and was seen by Chelsea U. I wanted to go Platinum Blonde from highlights. After talking with Chelsea, she convinced me to do Platinum over time, to avoid breakage and damage of my hair(Which I am trying to grow out). So she suggested doing a heavy foil highlight using the lightest highlighting shade and then come back and go platinum in about a months time. We did the all over foils and it looks like I went platinum with how light my hair is. She is AWESOME, so awesome that I am going to keep going to her for highlights because I ended up liking my highlights so much that I am just going to keep highlights instead of going all platinum Blonde. The pricing at this salon is affordable and if you are looking for a good affordable place to get your hair done RIGHT, go to Fantastic Sams and ask for Chelsea. She has a good personality and knows enough about hair to give you what you want without the damage! I am a VERY happy and satisfied customer!

    Ive been coming to FS for 10 years. Ladies, you know how hard it is to find a good hair dresser. This place is fabulous!! They offer a wide variety of services for women, men and children. Theyre open on weekends too. Theres very little wait time unless its a holiday. Fantastic Sams always has lots of stylists ready to serve you and your family. Prices are competitive to other salons but there are weekly specials. Also FS has a rewards system for customers when you sign up. Earn points, get rewards. Theres free coffee! Store is very clean.
