Move to FL a few months ago and dreaded having to find someone to care for my locs. I kept putting off getting them retwisted but knew I had an event coming up and would need to find someone soon. After weeks of going back and forth from Instagram to Google, I found Relax Its Natural. I decided to call and spoke with Brittany, she answered all of my questions and I was able to schedule a consultation with her as soon as the next day. The location was very convenient, the atmosphere was great, and Brittany was very accommodating. The service she provided me was superb, she washed, reparted, and retwisted my locs with grace! I would definitely recommend Relax Its Natural & Brittany for your locs care!My husband even said this was the best my locs have looked and I would have to agree!

Love the atmosphere here. The ladies are all pros at their craft and really do know how to take care of our peoples hair. I got my hair locked up to start growing my dreadlocks for the first time and make me wish I knew about this shop sooner. Also 2 people have already asked me where did I go to get my hair done.

My hair grows really well. There is good services the styles you are trying to get the understand. They work around with their schedule they have polite staff and I just had a good time. Ive been going their since I was in pre-k and its been six yrs and my hair is half way down my back. They use professional products. I moved from Georgia over a year ago, and I was afraid I wouldnt find a natural hair salon. However, Ive found one here in Lakeland, FL. God is good! First of all Please, please, please book a *consultation*(if its going to be your first time going to the shop). They are very professional and just want to help you reach your desired hair goals. The consultation will help the stylist get to know you and you get to know the stylist. Trust me its worth it! I was very satisfied with my silk press and the advice that I was given after my consultation.

Loved the salons atmosphere. Even during a pandemic it was comfortable and inviting. Necessary precautions were in place which I appreciated for my safety and that of others. The staff were very professional and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and I had a lot.My stylist Zha’velle was exceptional! I love my starter locs and plan to continue my journey with her at Relax it’s Natural. The products that I purchased there work great for my locs my hair isn’t heavy and it feels clean. What a jewel right here in Lakeland, FL!I was so pleased with the service that was given during my appointment. From the initial consult to the appointment day, I was extremely impressed.As someone who has been to several salons who have failed to cater to natural hair, I was at a lost during COVID-19. Before i finally picked this place. I had called around at other shops to get quotes for starter locs. Although most of the other places prices was my budget friendly, i didnt like their customer service or pictures of their starter locs. Angelice was amazing, her customer service is phenomenal. She wasnt worried about making quick money. She actually cares. She is an educator, she walked me through the entire process of how starter locs work and what my end result is going to be. She is worth going to. And her staffs are amazing also funny. Behind a great boss stands a great team. I recommend anyone looking for a great natural hair salon to go here. . My first appointment since COVI-19 and they look out for their clients and themselves. Before entering the salon, there is a temperature check, a squirt of antibacterial gel, given gloves, and a mask if you need one. Chairs are disinfected between clients. Now, for my hair. Love it, love it, love it! Kirra does a fantastic job!

From beginning to end, staff were kind and knowledgable. Answered all my questions and talked through services to put me at ease. I got starter locs and they came out really good. Will be going to them to maintain them as they grow. They adhered to social distancing , wore masks entire time and sanitized in between. Temperature check and sanitizers were available. Overall, I had a great experience and my hair and scalp feels so good with all the natural products they used. Keep up the great service!!

LOVE this salon!!! I found this salon on Google and made an appt for my son to get his dreads retwisted along with a design...they exceeded his and mine expectations. My son talked about how awesome and kind they were and how much he enjoys going to get his hair done. The first time he went my father had passed away that morning and they prayed with him for our family. As long as he has dreads he will be a loyal customer. You cant get any better than this salon!!

If I can give this salon more stars I would. Yesterday was my second visit with Kirra shes an excellent stylist and she takes the time to listen to her customers. Overall the salon itself is a wonderful positive environment to be in. I have been searching for months for a natural hair salon and I am so thankful to have found this place I drive 45 minutes from st pete to come here and it is well worth the drive.

Being back in my stylist 💺 was AWESOME. They were very well prepared for keeping the spread of the virus under control. COVID-19 Prepared with Temperatures being taken before you enter the salon, a mask was given, and hand sanitizer used frequently. Chairs, hair dryers etc. Were wiped and sanitized before the client was allowed to sit. Great job Auntie Cynthia for all the knowledge of the products and if anyone is ever in need for REAL deep down hair wash, shes that one. Very professional and knowledgeable about COVID-19.
