    Try them out!! Shauna did great. I have had a lot of hit and misses with my hair...from color to cut. Ive paid $300 too many times and on average $250 w/tip, the past few years for highlights and cut....Im tired of it and refuse to pay it anymore, just have better things to spend my money on. Ive grown my hair back out and was letting the color do whatever... I passed Fantasic Sams and decided to try them. I booked with Shauna and today she highlighted my hair and cut it. She was very nice and easy going. Im happy with the hair, its a bit lighter than I expected, but its so nice for Spring/Summer and we can always tone down for fall/winter. The cut was excellent, very good, the best Ive had done since being here in FL, and I am very happy. My husband loved it, and My daughter came in from work and said wow mom, I love your hair..it makes you look younger hey, Im all for that!!! Haha. Everyone was kind and I even told my husband to come down and get a haircut (which he did). Ill be back, and I told my daughter, as she struggles finding reasonable services as well.

    First time client. Shawna was my stylist, and she was wonderful!! I got a cut and color, and when I say cut I mean cut. She took off about a foot off. I haven’t been able to find anyone to do my hair, that I was happy with. So it’s been growing out of control and I’ve been coloring it myself.I will be back in 8 weeks, I may get daring and get something with highlights. One never knows

    This is my second time with Shawna, she is fantastic. I have always had a hard time finding the right hairdresser. She has the experience and knowledge that was a great find for me. The booking system was efficient and the staff were very friendly. Thank you Shawna for being such a caring person

    The place overall had a great vibe and the lady that did me and my moms hair was so patient my mom shes a little old-fashioned she likes to be picky about things and she was doing her best to be so patient and Im so grateful for that because a lot of people cant handle that level of patience they did fantastic on my curly hair which is like extremely fantastic 🤩😊

    The location and parking clean. The staff Jillene professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. She was able to cut our hair in minutes so we were able to meet our appointments. Wednesday, if you have a child the price is only $7.95. the store can be easily spotted from Ulmerton Road.

    Shawna did an amazing job on my hair! I came in with fried blonde (literally see through it was so damaged) hair! I wanted a Pixie cut but I ended up with a longer version of it which I love even more! Thank you Shawna!

Now ask for Shawna.She does my moms here to perfection.She can go a whole week with the curls.And it doesnt go flat kudos.. Not an easy thing to do for an eight year old women..5 stars ladies

    I haven’t had my hair professionally done in over five years, for fear not being able to find someone who can do what I actually wanted. I recently wanted a cut/style and perm and feared I could not find anyone as many places no longer do curly perms. So I called FS and spoke with Shawna on Friday, I asked if I could send her a picture of the cut, style and perm I wanted and she agreed and confirmed she could do it and booked me for today. Well let me tell y’all; she did not disappoint! She was spot on! She made me feel at ease and so comfortable through the whole process and did way beyond what I expected, if not better! I am so pleased with my hair, thank you again Shawna, and also to Rick for the hospitality. I am attaching some photos of the style I wanted and what Shawna did as I’ve gotten compliments all day about her wonderful work! Thank you again Shawna! 🫶🏽

    This is a great salon, clean very warm and welcoming! DAVID is excellent! He is a very talented stylist! And fun interesting!     Sams is a wonderful place to shop for the things you use and need. I try not to buy anything that might be wasteful. But I did taste Sams sumo oranges. Wow, they were so good, and I brought some. I never had them because they looked ugly, LOL.So you do need to sample Sams food stands.

    I’m new to the area, and have had hit or miss experiences getting my hair cut. I have short hair and I’m very picky about how precise my cut is. David is FANTABULOUS!! He had never met me, had no idea who I was. I got there 15 minutes early, he took me back early - we made our introductions, I showed him how my hair usually looks, and he did amazing! I’m looking forward to his highlighting magic! I recommend this salon and David! If I could give more stars I would!

    Im so happy with this salon location, and especially my stylist, Barbara Spang.I was referred to her earlier this year, and she is just wonderful! Im so thrilled to have found her. She really makes me happy!She totally listens to my wishes for my color, cut and style. She always has great ideas, if Im not exactly sure what I may want. This young lady is a Master Stylist, and I can see why!Her customer service is absolutely the best, and from what Ive seen, everyone there is really great! Lots of smiles and they always make their customers feel awesome! I love their products, and I feel they are very reasonable, for the services and products they offer!So, folks, check this place out! You wont be sorry!

    Brittany did a wonderful job with my hair! She did a color with foil and cut! Brittany is very knowledgeable. I learned things about taking care of my hair using specific types of shampoo that I never had heard before to keep it from turning brassy. She helped me decide what would be the best cut and she did exactly what we talked about! I would highly recommend her! I will be back when Im in town!

    Barbara is the stylist you want to trust with your hair. She truly cares about how you feel about yourself. She does this by listening to your needs and following through with her expertise. She also won the National Color award for Fantastic Sams! Having my hair cut is a fun experience as her attitude is one joy. I always feel good when I walk out the door.     I just had my hair cut by a very talented and creative stylist, Brittany, at the Fantastic Sams on Ulmerton Road in the shopping center with Home Depot. My hair is a challenge since I have cancer and Im losing a lot of hair. Brittany LISTENED so well to what I wanted. Shes terrific. I would recommend her to anyone. She is so pleasant and so talented.     Called the salon on Mothers Day and they were able to get me right in. The salon was clean and the gal who checked me in was super friendly. Marianne was my stylist my and she did a phenomenal job! She specializes in short hair and the cut and style she gave me was perfect! Im staying with her for the long haul. Definitely recommend this salon.

    I just had my hair cut at the Largo location by Brittany. I told her that my hair is recovering from having sepsis 2+ years ago so has grown in really odd due to almost total hair loss after getting out of hospital. She listened and did a great job dealing with my weird hair. Id recommend her to everyone looking for a kind and professional hair stylist! I had made an appointment & was taken right in. Overall, great experience.

    Barbara is an amazing stylist. She has been doing my husbands and my hair for years now. Every time we come in it is more that just a hair cut, this location has staff that make you feel like family.     Ashley did an amazing job with my haircut! I hadnt gotten a real haircut in a long time, and had developed some scraggly dead ends. Ashley talked with me about my hair goals (I want to continue growing it out) and took off the perfect amount of hair - just enough to reveal healthy ends without losing a lot of length.     I hadnt tried this salon even though its in a shopping center where I go every week. My hair was looking pretty stressed out so I called and made an appointment for the same day to get my hair cut. David was friendly and professional.     Love this place! I have naturally curly hair so it can be unruly sometimes Maya and Jillene always do a wonderful job. Maya put a gorgeous rose gold color in my hair and Jillene brought me back to my natural color.Jillene also did an amazing job on my mom’s hair which hadn’t been touched in years by a professional and Jillene also gave my boyfriend a very stylish age appropriate haircut that compliments him in many ways. I highly recommend getting your hair done at Fantastic Sam’s Ulmerton regardless of age, sex or creed by either Maya or Jillene as you will come out looking fabulous! Price points are extremely fair as well.

    Why waste money at high priced salons when you can go to a nice salon with reasonable prices and get the same quality color/ cuts?! The salon is clean, and comfortable! Barbara Spang is the best!     I was referred here and was a bit anxious (based on hair horrors of the past). Even though my appointment didnt show up (after making it the week past), my stylist went ahead and saw me since she finished another appointment a bit early. Despite the unexpected appt, she still took the time to listen and confirm that we were on the same page. She was confident in letting me know if I strayed into unrealistic territory. I received a wonderful hairwash massage and a good haircut based off of what we discussed and the price was affordable. I feel confident that I can go back in the future. I assure you that is not a small thing for me to feel.

    Scheduled appointment with Brittany. Highlights and lowlights with foils can be a tedious process, but Brittany was fast and efficient and genuinely enjoys coloring hair. She transformed my dull washed out looking hair to a color that had dimension and shine, then finished with a fresh haircut. Spa like experience, highly recommended.

    Pretty good service, they were able to fit me in when I needed full coloring done. Only thing is she told me it would cost $80 after she already evaluated the length and thickness of my hair and then at the register she said it was $115, so not happy about that part.

    Barbara always does a great job! I get lot of compliments on my cut and highlights. She has become a friend because she also genuinely cares about what is happening in my life. I also have gone back before for something to be fixed and she did it with a smile! The 4 and not 5 is just because sometimes i have had to wait even if I ha a n apt but I do understand that it is a very busy business trying to accomodate walkins or other patrons that might have been late for their apts.

    I had my friend Brandie who works there give me blond highlights in my hair, which Ive wanted for a while, and I almost cried when I saw how they came out. It came out so much better than I thought it would and now I have a whole new hairstyle to match the new color.     My mom and I have been going there for years Barb is the one we always see my mom will not go to anybody else and I live in Ohio and I wait till I come to Florida on vacation a couple times a year and get my hair done there with Barb I haven’t had it cut in Ohio once and I’ve lived there five years Barb is friendly very professional and very good at what she does she even finally got me to have short hair which my mother had been trying my whole life I really enjoy our Experience with Barb every time we go I recommend her highly
