    I love this place! They don’t use super harsh chemicals on your hair leaving you feeling like your hair is on its last life. Everyone here is so nice and sweet! I get my haircut by Alyssa who is great at cutting my curly hair and never disappoints. Recently got my hair dyed by Brianna, I love the color and the style she did. She’s so open, sweet, and welcoming. I recommend both ladies!!

    Ive been seeing Natalie for the last few years and she does such a great job on my hair! She really listens to what Im looking for and Im always so happy with the results. My hair is also very healthy since she has been coloring it. All the staff is friendly and professional. Its a great experience. Im so glad that I found her and Midori Salon.

    I’ve been coming to this salon for over 3 years now and this place just keeps getting better and better. The products are organic unlike most salons and stand for a healthy progressive cause. Their stylists are professional and all extremely talented (I’ve had my hair done by 3 different stylists there). Ive been getting my hair done by Star the past 2 years she’s a true artist. She keeps my curls healthy and strong even going blonde! She goes above & beyond for me as a client making sure I’m always more than satisfied and taken care of. With a family/sisterly vibe the minute you walk in. I feel more than happy spending my money somewhere that cares about not only the overall look of my hair but also the health from inside out of my hair.

    I have been coming to this salon for 3 years now. The salon itself is so cute and clean! I love the calm vibe they’ve captured in its aesthetic. Everyone is super friendly from the receptionist, and the other stylists. I’ve had both Natalie and Alyssa cut/highlight my hair and they are both wonderful! I’ve visited with Alyssa more recently, who always makes me feel comfortable in her chair. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and she always listens to my stories and is super sweet. I appreciate the kind energy you always maintain during our sessions, Alyssa! Thank you!

    My friend recommended that I try Midori a little bit over a year ago; as someone with very thick, wavy hair (I find that a lot of salons just don’t know how to handle it well) I was so nervous to try somewhere new…but wow! I am impressed. The two stylists that I’ve seen thus far (Natalie and Dooyun) are clearly very talented and did such an incredible job with layering my hair. The environment and general vibe is absolutely lovely as well. 10/10. Midori is a gem, and I can’t wait for my next appointment.

    Been going to Star for 15 years and is hands down the absolute besttttt at her craft and is the sweetest person!! Her colorwork is phenomenal and she is magicccc! And she uses the best products and puts alot of care into maintaining the integrity of the hair and keeping it healthy.     Amazing Salon experience! I can’t speak highly enough of this salon and Star is the definition of perfection when it comes to hair and all things coloring. She is an absolute professional and takes care of you 100%. In the past I have struggled with hair stylists that are not passionate with their art. These ladies are amazing, and I always get compliments because of Star’s work! You will not be disappointed. This is probably the best place in the city to trust with your hair.

    It was my first visit to this salon and was pleasantly cared for by Alyssa. It’s a very calm environment and was treated like I was the only one there.I am transitioning from brown to lighter hair as my gray hair is growing in. Alyssa worked her magic with her knowledge of what was best for me.If you need a change I highly recommend Alyssa.

    Ive been going to the spa since I moved to Florida in 2010, it has relocated in three different locations All on West Bay. The new location is beautiful. The new owner Star has been my stylus all that time. Congratulations Star on being the new owner of Midori Eco salon. I love going there and getting treated like a queen always.     This salon is ultimate luxury! I went in for my first visit today, getting a haircut, bang-trim and overall color. My stylist was Dooyun and she nailed everything! She understood exactly the look I was going for, asked me questions about how I like to style to take that into consideration as well. The haircut & color was such a relaxing experience as well. The shampoo station has heated massage chairs, which added to the luxury of it all.I can’t wait for my next appointment with Dooyun! I feel very lucky to have had her work on my hair today, she achieved perfection & was so great to work with. Overall this salon & stylist are an absolute 10 out of 10!Parking was easy & salon was easy to locate. They also offered a new customer discount & gave me a sweet goodie bag before I left. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is really very luxurious and peaceful - exactly what I needed!

    Excellent experience with Alyssa! She did full foil highlights on my hair and it turned out fabulous! Star, the manager, was wonderful too during my consultation. Love their new location near Largo Central Park and the shampoo massage chairs are great. I had gone to Midori Eco Salon previously for coloring and they did such a great job that I wanted to come back, as I love the service they provide and the high quality coloring products they use that dont smell bad or leave my hair damaged. I highly recommend them!

    It was my first time going to Midori salon, and had my hair cut by Destiny. I went from long/medium hair to a very short pixie cut, and not only did she give me the exact style and cut I wanted, but Destiny and the entire staff were so nice and friendly, and the salon is absolutely gorgeous. Even while washing my hair before the cut, it was like I was getting a spa treatment, I was sat in a massage chair, and Destiny even gave my scalp head and neck a massage while conditioning my hair. It was amazing. But wow, Destiny is an incredible hairdresser, she was so friendly and gave me the haircut of my dreams. I will never go anywhere else again, and plan to see Destiny for all my future hair needs. Even the price blew me away, for how pampered I was plus getting such an intricate hair cut, and by an amazingly talented and experienced master stylist too. I was even fit in last minute and was completely blown away from the fabulous experience I received at Madori Salon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Destiny is fabulous. She listened and helped me make a decision about what it was I was looking for. She is friendly and professional.The place is clean and the shampoo station with the massage chair was awesome. The head and neck massage was a nice surprise. My only issue was that if you use a credit card you will be charged extra. If I had been told, as a courtesy, I would have either paid cash or at least been prepared for the overcharge. I had to go 2 days in a row due to our latest hurricane so it was a double overcharge. I will be returning and recommending this place to my friends.

    FINALLY! Midori Eco Salon is a genuine godsend. Extremely welcoming, clean, spa-like atmosphere and everyone is super friendly - you are immediately happy and relaxed just walking in the door. Relatively easy to schedule appts and very reasonable pricing, especially considering the level of talent and higher quality experience overall. I will continue going here indefinitely (or follow Natalie if she leaves)I have gone here twice so far for highlights with NATALIE - super sweet and a colorist magician! I have very fine hair that has thinned out significantly in recent months -previous highlights damaged my hair beyond repair (I assumed), so I didnt expect a miracle. I wasnt even sure if I wanted to continue processing my hair, because I assumed it would only continue to destroy whats left of my hair. Natalie took the time to really listen and talk to me about my concerns and what I actually wanted my hair to look like - and in a single visit, my hair was literally transformed. I walked in with dry, sad, lifeless, brittle brassy-blonde hair (with grey / dark roots) ....and walked out a very happy girl, with significantly healthier hair, along with the exact color and beautiful highlights I wanted. NO damage, NO down time waiting for my hair to calm down after coloring - it was beautiful day one and stayed that way for months. I didnt think this result was even possible! 2nd visit was more of the same - happy, healthy, shiny hair with perfect highlights. They also recommended a few organic products to try, and I LOVE them all - unlike other natural products I have tried over the years, the products from Midori are actually quite effective at cleaning my hair without stripping or leaving residue and smell heavenly. I could not be happier that I found this place and am very grateful for Natalies magical expertise. HIGHLY RECOMMEND MIDORI!

    I absolutely love this salon. The personnel are always nice and cheery. Audrey always takes care of my toes and fingernails just perfectly! Shelby is such an amazing massage therapist. She relaxed me so much Im pretty sure I was snoring. I have been going here for about a year now and I have never had a bad visit.

    BEST. PLACE. EVER.Today was my first time at Midori, and I just happened upon it when I drove by. My birthday is tomorrow, so I stopped in for a 60-minute massage, and that was so good that I decided to get a 90-minute facial. Both were INCREDIBLE services, but more than anything it was the staff - Sarah at the front desk, Shelby gave my massage, and Jessica my facial - that really did it for me. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, yet professional and efficient. Unbelievably great service and staff, products and atmosphere makes Midori my new one-stop for all things beautiful! Thank you guys for such a great time today!

    Destiny made quick work of my thick and hard to style hair. The salon ambiance is lovely, massage chairs were a great touch, and staff was friendly and prompt. Also love the product line they use and carry, it’s the best I’ve tried. Parking is convenient, and COVID precautions were being exercised well but I still felt comfortable and relaxed at all times. I’ve been to salons at every price point in major cities and small towns, and was very very happy with the service and salon itself. Will be back for color in the new year!

    I just had my first appointment at Midori Eco Salon with Natalie, and Im so happy with how my hair turned out! I came in with a pretty brassy color melt and about 8 weeks of regrowth from another salon. Natalie expertly blended my color melt to the beige blond highlight/babylight look I was going for. It was a long process to achieve this look, but well worth the time. Natalie is a super skilled colorist and Im so happy to have found her!

    This was my first time at this salon, but I’ve followed Destiny from hair school! The salon is absolutely beautiful! Comfy chairs, and the washing station sold me with those massage chairs. Also, I can’t get over how beautiful the bathroom is 😂Destiny is amazing! I normally just get solid dark brown color and a trim but was feeling spontaneous this visit and threw a curve ball at her with wanting to add a pop of color and a drastic cut, and she delivered! My hair looks and feels better than ever!

    Loved my experience at Midori! I had a spa treatment and a hair appointment right after! They did a great job scheduling the right use of time and they were so accommodating throughout both services! Hot green tea to start, Jessica was so knowledgeable about skin and did a great job with my microneedling! It didn’t hurt one bit! Once I finished Alyssa picked me up and took me back for my hair service. There we’re lots of nice small touches that made my experience more enjoyable (warm dry towels at washing station for the back of your neck and then one for your wet hair, a small foot stool to help with your back, warm eye masks, and a headrest inside the sink!) It’s the small things! Thanks again ladies, I’ll definitely be back! 🤗

    Great organic salon! The staff is always friendly. My wash, cut and blow-dry is always fast and efficient. I love the relaxing feeling during my wash and drinking the fruit infused water. I have seen Meagan, Leah & Ashley M., and they are all fabulous! I always love my haircut. :)

    I’ve been going to Dooyun for over a year since I moved to Clearwater, Fl. Dooyun is an amazing artist. I have short straight hair which is difficult to cut and style, but she always manages to make it look fabulous.What sets her apart is her attention to detail.     First experience at this salon and I must say walking through the door it was wonderful vibes right away.I met with Destiny and she was great, I wasn’t sure on what to do with my hair but she took in everything I said and made sure I would leave with what I wanted.The entire experience was wonderful with all natural products with no harsh smells of chemicals it was pleasant change of going to the salon. Would highly recommend, it is so worth it.

    Destiny is amazing! She took my dull hair and gave it life! The cut and color were spot on! Destiny is very knowledgable and explained things as she went along if I had questions. I have never had so many compliments on my hair before. I feel refreshed and can’t wait to go back! She also cut my daughters hair and she was so great with her. My daughter is 6 so understanding how to sit still for a while isn’t her strong point, but destiny worked so well with her and made her feel like a big girl! It was so sweet. Also, their chairs are amazing and the hair washing chairs massage your back! Talk about incredible! I 100% recommend Destiny and this salon, you won’t be disappointed!

    Recently I had services at Midori hair salon. Natalie was professional, precise and very attentive. I love my new cut and highlights. She suggested some organic shampoo and conditioner that I just love.I was very impressed with the entire staff following Covid safety guidelines . My previous hairdresser did not.     Midori has moved into their new location and it is AMAZING! The new space is the most comfortable and homelike feeling place! I absolutely love it. And the massaging shampoo chairs are OMG!!!!     So glad to have found a good clean salon with quality products. I enjoy the fact that you dont have to sit in a room ingesting chemicals the entire visit there. As my hair grows way too fast, Star made time for an appointment for a much-needed cut and it was perfect for my curls...not easy for most stylists. Great salon, great technicians.

    Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!! Salon was able to accommodate last minute appt on a Friday. Ashley met my (sometimes high) expectations, I have long thick hair so it needs layers and texturizing which Ashley was able to provide. My hair looks and feels better then it has in years.My service started off with a thorough consult to make sure both myself and Ashley my stylist were on the same page. Then came the spritz over my hair of what I think was water/essential oil, which I LOVED. The shampoo was the best, she placed a hot, soothing scented towel draped over my eyes while she took her time to shampoo, condition and massage my scalp. It was heaven! One of the things I loved most about this salon was how clean it was, utensil trays where shining, pillows on chairs in place. It made me want to stay there all day. Upon checking out they handed me a welcome gift which was a bag filled with goodies (I dont want to spoil the surprise) it was very thoughtful and again lots of attention to detail. I will definitely be going back and telling everyone about this gem. So excited to have found this salon. thank you Ashley and Salon Midori, see you again soon!!

    Starr service!I love the Oway environmentally friendly products and the eco friendly services. Yes, you pay for a green circle fee, but it is a boost to the environment. Plus you get a discount when using the containers for refills and items you cannot refill, you get a discount for recycling them.My hair is healthy and shiny naturally using Oway and the massage chair with the shampoo is incredible.See the experts for fabulous care for your hair.

    The best salon in the entire Tampa Bay area. Only salon that gives me exactly what Im looking for in a hair style and my blonde color. I love that it is all organic, which is great for my hair and there is absolutely no smell.     The staff was so nice, not pretentious at all. I felt very welcome from the moment I walked in. Ask for Marlie; she was so wonderful and really paid a lot of attention to the little things.     Midori is the complete pampering package - hair, nails, face, body - if you want to pamper yourself it is definitely a must. The fact that organic products are used is such a big plus and they recycle as much as any salon I know. KUDOS, not always easy. And lets not ignore the fantastic staff - from the moment you walk in the door they all make you feel welcomed and important. Leah has been pampering me for more than 2 years (head to toe) and has so improved the condition of my hair as well as adding color and depth. Couldnt ask for more.

    I just had a baby two months ago and was in need of some serious TLC. My hair hadnt been colored in 5 years at least and I was looking for something new. I was so pleased with my experience at Midori. The salon is gorgeous and was very well kept! I was offered a beverage and really enjoyed the Aveda hot tea. Leah was my stylist and was able to give me an on trend ombré coloring look consistent with the picture I provided. She didnt cut off too much when I told her I was trying to grow my hair out. I hate when stylists cut off 2 inches when I didnt ask for that so thank you for listening Leah! I received a hand massage while I waited for my hair to finish lightening. I LOVED the eye mask at the wash sink! Overall, I really enjoyed my time there. They did a follow up call and I even got a little goodie bag of samples-one was for babies :) my little man will be spoiled now. I will definitely return! Ask for Leah :)

    PROS: Organic products and better for my health, convenient location (less than 2 miles from me), they have an awesome massage reclining chair when you are at the sink getting a hair wash which is really nice. Before the Coronavirus lockdown they used to offer hand massage and warm eye masks during the hair-wash and I hope they bring that back because it adds to the salon SPA feel and relaxation.CONS: The receptionist added a haircut to my bill which I did not receive. This has happened twice to me so beware of that especially if you are new to the place. Its OK to question what you are being charged for or to ask for a breakdown of the charges. Also, I preferred the other location but this one is nicely set up and it works. It just feels a bit more cramped.ATTN: OWNER - Thank you for replying. To be specific, I ended up paying exactly what I came for which was root color. When I told the receptionist I only had root color done she adjusted the amount accordingly. But because for my last 2 visits she asked for an amount which included a cut, I felt the need to make other customers aware of this, which I am sure was a human mistake.

    I went to the Clearwater location, which opened just a week after I moved to Florida. Its right across Natures Food Patch store, which is very convenient.I was toying with the idea of cutting my hair very short for awhile, but was quite nervous about it - its a very drastic change for me... My hairstylist Leah (shes soooo nice!) made me feel good about my decision and did an excellent job. I got many compliments. I would absolutely recommend this salon to anybody who cares about their hair and wants a more natural alternative to conventional hair treatment.

    I have been to many different salons with some very high profile hairdressers. I have been going to Midori for various personal services, including massage, facials, pedicures, and manicures. About a year ago I switched to Midori for ALL my personal services. So glad I did. Not only do I have the best hair cut and color, it is with products that will not harm the environment! I feel so fortunate to have found Midori and Amber Holland!

    Dooyun was kind enough to take me last minute, and completely transformed my hair!!!! She was quick, had a great attitude, and helped me find products for my hair that wouldnt break the bank. I am DEFINITELY coming back here!!!! Everyone was welcoming and inviting, and loved seeing my hair go from a gross brown/orange color, to the blonde color I had hoped for! Awesome place, I would give it more stars if I could.

    My first time there. I love the feel of this place. Very zen-like. Nice offer of 3 types of water or coffee. I chose Dakota to cut my hair (which was a dried out mess). She did a great job and I will be back to start a process I have been putting off for a long time. Dakota is friendly and knows her stuff.

    This salon is by far the very best. The staff are amazing. They always make me feel at home. I wouldn’t trust anywhere else to handle my hair. The team at Midori is truly one of a kind.

    Gave them another try, did a great job!1st time I went there they did a great job on my hair cut so after 8 weeks or so I went back for ONLY a trim and wanted the same style. When I left, my cut looked like a cocker spaniel, long on the sides and shorter in the back, was definitely not stacked and on an angle. I went back about a week later to have corrected only to have another stylist only butcher it up using thinning shears. Now In the back on the right side my hair is about 2-4 and the left is 5-6. I can only imagine what people are saying - behind by back. Too bad the same stylist couldnt stay consistent.

    I have been a loyal customer of Midori Salon and Spa since they opened and I have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and they have a wealth of knowledge of their services and products and they take the time to answer any questions that you have. Very relaxing atmosphere and I highly recommend Midori Salon and Spa! You will feel like a million bucks!!

    I recently got my haircut at Madori Salon and Spa. It was a great experience from the minute I walked in. The staff was so helpful and offered me something to drink right away. The stylist was well trained and took my suggestions into consideration. Then she helped me get the right products to keep up my new look and told me about the many different types of spa services as well. I will continue to use Madori in the future.

    Liya Bergstrom did my balayage and she did such an amazing job!! I have brown hair and she added in some nice caramel color into it. It was my first time dying my hair and there’s nobody I would trust more than her to work with it. If you’re nervous about dying your hair or haven’t found someone you absolutely love, definitely go to Liya. She’s amazing!
