    My son had 8 inches cut on Saturday! He’s pretty much had curly longish hair his whole life. He decided to get a totally different look so we booked with Chuck. My kiddo showed him a few pics what he wanted and Chuck NAILED it!! The girl at the desk was so sweet and excited for him, and the other barbers realized it was a big change and told him it looked awesome. It’s the next day and my son STILL comes out of the bathroom every time he goes and says- I love my hair!! Pics are the before and after

    I made my appointment online, and didnt chose a particular barber. My barber, Cody, took me right on time. My hair was grown out, but I was looking for a skin fade military cut. Cody listened to my expectations, we made adjustments throughout the haircut, Cody gave me a nice straight edge neck shave and around the ears as well. I left with a great haircut and fun conversation.

    My son had been with his old barber for years until we went to Floyd’s . My son loves his hair cuts and he says Chuck is his new barber now . Chuck is always precise and nails the haircut like my son shows him in a picture. And the young lady Miracle at check out is just delightful and always a friendly chat. We will never go anywhere else.

    Great service, Brandi was excellent with my two reluctant kiddos. My youngest, who has sensory issues and isn’t very fond of strangers was comfortable and happy and didn’t fuss at all, so that was definitely a win! We will definitely be back.

    Went for my first time at this location and got my haircut by Curtis. Had great conversation and he listened to what I wanted with my haircut and did exactly as I asked. Ive been looking for a barber that would listen to what I wanted and ask questions rather than get their own idea of my haircut and he did just that.

    I am pretty sure my barbers name was Chuck. Tall guy black hair. Was super nice, great conversation and awesome hair cut. Just got done with breats cancer and am growing out my hair. He understood exactly what I wanted with me giving him little knowledge about what I want. He was amazing! Might go back to him everytime. He blended it so well. You can see the beforeand after. It was so messy now its clean and Im proud to not where a hat. Thank you.!!!

    We’ve been looking for a good barber for awhile now for my 14 year old. Jade did his hair today and did absolutely amazing. My son doesn’t want anyone else to do his hair now.

    It was such a treat. Codey did the best fade, cut, shampoo and straight razor shave for me. I was so relaxed I think I almost fell asleep. He didn’t make the experience feel rushed like some other places do. Also, Im a quiet, introverted person and absolutely loved how he didnt chat me up (although he was extremely friendly and professional, he just knows how to read people). I was able to just sit there and relax and I am very grateful for that. Thank you, Codey! I asked him to please never leave Floyd’s LOL. Good barbers are hard to find and I feel lucky to have found Floyd’s in Maitland and of course Codey. I’ll definitely be back.

    Sometimes you receive service so good that it makes your whole day. Rhonda not only gave me a killer cut, but she thoroughly impressed me with her kindness, attitude and energy. I left smiling and happy that I’ve finally found my go-to stylist.

    First off you walk in to this Barbershop, yes a Barbershop not a hair salon or a mall quick cut hack job, but a real Barbershop. The decor is straight manly man. Record album posters galore, and a very nice and professional assistant? Receptionist? She asks if I have ever been here before, No? So she explains and asks what services I require. My barber was Chuck, great dude very knowledgeable well travelled and great guy to chill and talk with. He proceeds to cut after I explain how I like it. Very well done, I got a high fade 1 on the side and a scissor cut on top. It was professionally done and the blending was perfect. This month through the end of July they are offering a free shampoo and scalp massage, get it done you won’t regret it.Floyd’s has changed my recent outlook on a haircut from a chore to an experience I enjoy again. Definitely going back. I will ask for Chuck again.

    First, I really like the atmosphere of this barbershop, it has a really unique abstract design on the inside.Christi is an absolutely phenomenal barber. She really helps paint the picture you have in your head and makes the perfect haircut into reality. She is not also just great with short hair, she is also very skilled with long hair as well. I had a really positive experience with her hair cut and would definitely recommend anyone that wants their mental vision of a haircut into reality, to book with Christi.

    I followed Chuck D here to this location and will continue to drive from downtown Orlando to Maitland just to see him. Chuck always does a great job. Hes very communicative and makes sure youre happy with the outcome of the haircut before you leave his chair. I thoroughly recommend Chuck.

    I’d like to start off saying this was my first experience at Floyd’s & the decor & environment was warm welcoming and and all around great experience. I had the pleasure of getting my locs retwisted and haircut by Angel. Typically I’m picky with who does my hair and was nervous before getting started but she quickly showed me I had nothing to worry about. Not only was she knowledgeable and professional but she was quick and painless. After my retwist Angel gave me a great bald fade which was done VERY well. I want to not only thank the entire staff from Rhonda to the friendly girl at the reception for being so kind and friendly to me but special thanks to Angel for an incredible job well done. I will be back for certainly

    I had never had a “ Floyd’s experience “ before. The eyesore that occupied the corner of Horatio and 1792 had been replaced by a modern beacon of hair artistry. I felt drawn and compelled to visit……the new Floyd’s 99 Barbershop in Maitland. From the hot towel wrap, to the shoulder massage, to Raquel’s commanding manipulation of the shears, I knew I had found a home for my barbershop needs. I was even graced by a personal meet and greet with the 2 unassuming owners. Boy, is Kyle good looking. Congrats on a business well run, and welcome to Maitland, the “ other Winter Park.”

    I’ve visited 3 Floyds all around Orlando (Longwood, Winter Park and Maitland. I love that Floyds wants you to make reservations. The Floyds barbers are generally very good at their craft, professional and polite. The front desk staff could use some training. I would give 5 starts except Floyds is expensive and they continually raise prices. No problem. But the service varies greatly from barber to barber both in time and process. I pay around $55-60 for a hair cut and beard trim and I’ve been there for almost a hour to as little as 20 minutes. Sometimes a hot towel and razor is involved and others not at all. For that amount, please take your time and do it right.
