    Cotton candy kids salon is the absolute best !! Today was our first visit to the new Merritt island location, my son and my mom both got hair cuts and both came out great! I’ve tried other kids salons for my son and this is definitely beyond our favorite, she is so great with kids. My son is 2 and full of energy, she really has a way with working with the kids to make it a pleasant experience. There are also cute areas to play before and after, and they offer kids birthday parties too. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a kid friendly hair salon!

    Amazing place. Walk-ins welcome. My 4 year old loved it as they have a full train set to play with and while he was getting his hair cut my two year old daughter had a blast doing tea party and playing in the play kitchen. If you have little ones and are looking for a relaxed, fun place to get your kids hair done, this is it! We will be back! :)

    This was our first time coming here. Daisy was amazing! Our son has ADHD and she was great with him! She works so quick! She was so great that my husband even decided to let her do his hair. I loved the kid area. My son was able to calm down after playing with the toys she has for kids. Thank you so much Daisy!

    Wonderful spot and the lady that cut my hair and my daughters hair was amazing! Her new address is 309 Magnolia Ave, Merritt Island but well worth the drive!My little 3 yr old has a ton of energy and is kind of sensitive to loud noises and the lady was incredibly patient with her. Let her explore and look at things until she was ready to get in the chair and helped her feel super comfortable through the whole haircut. 😄Plus I was able to get my hair cut as well while my daughter got to play with the train set and kitchen play area.We will definitely be back again!

    We had the most amazing experience with Daisy at Cotton Candy Kids Salon! She hosted a special day just for neurodivergent kiddos, creating a completely judgment-free space that felt safe, welcoming, and genuinely magical. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was like something out of a dream—bright, fun, and clearly designed with children in mind.Daisy went above and beyond to make our kids feel comfortable. She was incredibly patient and accommodating, allowing them the freedom to wiggle, move around, and just be themselves—without ever once asking them to sit still. It was such a relief to see them feel so at ease in a setting that’s usually stressful. You can tell she truly cares and has put so much thought into making the salon a place where all kids are welcome.Highly, highly recommend Daisy and this wonderful salon. We can’t wait to go back!

    I can’t say enough good things about this salon! From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping into a storybook its bright, whimsical, and full of fun things for kids to do. My 5-year-old daughter, who has never let anyone but me touch her hair, actually sat in the chair and participated, thanks to the incredible stylist. She was so patient, kind, and skilled at keeping my daughter calm throughout the entire process. I was blown away and so grateful for the experience. We’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll be telling everyone about this amazing place!!

The experience is magical, and by the time they leave, they’re completely transformed. Dessi is incredibly patient and professional, making every visit special. The decor is spot on, and there’s something for every child to enjoy—including dress-up clothes and party options. The location can be a bit tricky to find, as the entrance is behind a large pillar, but once you spot it, youll be glad you came. Plenty of parking available. Highly recommended!

Daisy corrected the haircut she gave herself, added washable colors and sparkles. We didn’t book any other services but Daisy let her wear a princess dress for some time while she played. She is a very patient and kind woman that clearly loves what she does. We will definitely be back for a random outing to make my daughter feel special for the day.

    It is an extraordinary aesthetically place with a lot of fun activities for kids, and Desi (the owner) is a super nice and professional hair master who creates cute haircuts and styles even for the very little ones. My 1,5 years son has had great experience at the salon, we love the result! 💕For sure, recommend the place to have a party for your little girl and a haircut for a boy or a girl.

    We went here for my daughter’s first haircut . The whole salon is magical from the decor to the Elsa braid and sparkles they put in her hair . They even have birthday parties where kids can dress up , get their hair and nails done and dance . The setting is perfect for playing princess and was the best choice for a first haircut . We even got a first haircut certificate. I can’t recommend them enough and can’t wait to go back for her birthday party!!

    We absolutely LOVE Ms. Daisy! My daughter received her first ever trim with Daisy when she was 4 and shes now almost 8. Shes been back to Ms. Dessi about every 6 months since. The salon was beautifully decorated (even at the new location in Merrit Island) , creating the perfect party atmosphere. The staff was incredibly patient and kind with all the kids, making them feel special every step of the way. They styled their hair, painted their nails, did fun crafts, and even put on a fabulous runway dress up show with all the costumes for all ages!! My daughter and her friends had the time of their lives, and it’s a party she will remember forever. Thank you to the amazing team for making her day so special!

    A co-worker told me about this place since they fixed her son’s hair after a bad haircut elsewhere. I can’t tell you how welcoming and friendly Ms Dessi is! Love love love her! She is the sweetest lady and we will continue to come because I don’t think we will ever get a better experience. My daughter’s haircut and little style was perfect. She even added a little color (non-toxic!) and sparkles (non-toxic!).

    I brought my 2 year old son here after two failed haircuts. He still fussed and screamed during the haircut but the girls there gave him lollipops and trains and made me feel ok with my son. We stayed and played with the trains and I’m so happy with his haircut. Will never go anywhere else!

    My son does not like getting his hair cut at all. We’ve been several places, and the owner gets it done quickly. I love that we’re able to just walk right in. His hair looks amazing, which is astonishing to me considering how much he moves around. I highly recommend this salon. Oh and the train table was a huge hit with my son also. After his haircut, Desi let him play as long as he wanted. He didn’t want to leave!

    Brought my 3 year old for a haircut here after having some suboptimal experiences at adult hair salons. I feel it’s so critical to have hair salons designated for children! Our hairdresser was so patient, she really listened to me and understood what I was looking for. She was great with my son as well. The facility is set up to be interactive for children while they wait and seemed clean and welcoming. We will be back!

    By far the the best kids hair salon on the space coast! My 3 year old has always had a hard time sitting still, and his hair is thick and curly. Daisy has cut my sons hair since his first hair cut. She is phenomenal with him, and she knows how to go with the flow whether it’s my son being scared, moving too much, or anything that would make giving a haircut difficult. She handles it with so much kindness. All of the women workingin the salon are phenomenal. If there are long waits, the salon is set up in a way that is extremely kid friendly. There’s endless things to keep your child occupied while you wait your turn. Five star experience every time we set foot in the Cotton Candy Kids Salon!

    Brought my two granddaughters the younger one had never had a haircut and was nervous. They played with all the kids stuff as we waited.     We LOVE this place!!! Weve been coming here for years and both boys had their first real haircuts here and its been life-changing! Both of our kiddos love how they look and feel so safe and confident in her ability! PLUS theres a HUGE magical room full of toys and pretend-play things that make waiting a BREEZE!     I took my almost-two-year-old son here for his second haircut, and it couldnt have gone any better. She did such a wonderful job of keeping him comfortable and she was so very sweet with him.     We had a good time. A little pricier than we expected, but the staff was very nice and enjoyed conversing with our son. It has a great play area with toys and lots of space for the kids, and they play music from childrens movies there as well.

    Update: we have been back 3 more times. Both my kids, my husband and myself have gotten hair cuts here and we love it! Daisy does an incredible job with listening to the client and styling their hair the way they want. She also is super creative and has decorated a wonderful, whimsical room that the kids didnt want to leave after their cuts. She even fixed my hair after I cut it myself..... I highly recommend this salon!!My son had a great first haircut here, it was safe, fun and the hairdresser listened to us and advised us on hairstyles that would work. Thank you

    We love Cotton Candy Kids Salon!! We have been there a few times for pedicure, manicure or haircut and such. Always pleased with the service. And we just had a birthday party at the Magic Garden, their party room. It was perfect! The kids had the best time and even the adults enjoyed the party. They do a great job putting up a great party and entertaining the kids with songs, games, dress up, manicure, and food. Thank you Cotton Candy staff!

    Had a bday party here and it was so over the top and girly in the most perfect ways. The ladies started my daughter and her friends with a craft, then did amazing hairstyles and nail polish on all of the girls, created a custom “runway show” where every girl got to dress-up in something fancy and “walk the runway.” Somehow they squeezed in a fun freeze dance, did cake, and we opened gifts. My daughter said it was the best day ever! The girls all had an amazing time and the moms were impressed. Thank you, ladies! You made dreams come true!

    We just had the most wonderful birthday party for our 7 year old! Dessi made sure everything was perfect and it was like a fairy tale dream for the girls at the party. They had hairstyles, manicures and dress up in beautiful gowns. If you are looking a party that is different and oh so girly, you should do this! And it was alot of fun for the adults at the party, too, because all the girls put on a fashion show for us. : )

    These ladies are magicians!! My sons (3 & 18 months) are usually awful at the hair salon. Not today!! They sat nicely, did not cry, did not fuss, and these brilliant ladies gave them such a cute haircut!!!! I will be returning. They are amazing with kids!!!

    We brought our 16 month old son here today for his first haircut. Dessi was super sweet and was great with my son. Super fast also! Even though he got upset about half way though she knew exactly how to handle him. She did a great job. We got the first haircut package with a wonderful photo and certificate.     Wonderful staff! They were so nice to my daughter and her hair came out beautifully! Mona was amazing and she did my daughters hair which my daughter absolutely loves and then she did her nails as well. I got a beautiful keep safe photo from our visit. Will definitely be returning with my other child as well as my older daughter whenever we need haircuts for the kids. Even be planning my older daughters birthday party there next year.

    We went here for my sons first haircut because hes less than one and I wanted to make sure the person cutting his hair was prepared for that with an appropriate chair and such. The stylist was very friendly and the place is cute. We just asked for a trim, but the haircut wasnt too even. Again, though, its got to be tough to cut hair on a baby. Overall good experience, as the stylist did quick work and kept my son from fussing.

    My son had the cotton candy hair cut and my daughters got the work (hair cuts, updos, manis, pedis). They loved it! The staff was so nice and accommodating. They let my daughters dress up and would have let them stay and play all day. It was so much fun. My kids already want to go back

    I just had my 9yr old daughters birthday at the cotton candy salon today. I would like to thank the whole staff for making my daughters birthday the most memorable experience. I highly recommend having a little girls party at the salon. It was the easiest , most reasonable and by far the best party I have ever planned for my daughter. My daughter is an only child and I tend to spoil her on birthdays and other holidays ( along with my mother doing the same) so I tend to go over board. Every year I feel stressed from organizing the party and I feel like I never get to enjoy watching her have fun but this year was the first year I got to do that. Cotton candy kids salon did everything for me , from cupcakes to entertainment. All I had to do is show up. Thank you so much Desi and staff. We loved our time at your salon.

    I took my 8 year old and one year old here for haircuts. My one year old did not take his first haircut well at all but the patience the ladies had with him was outstanding. My 8 uear old a hair came out amazing, exactly what he wanted. Despite the giant tantrum my one year old threw the entire time, his haircut came out nice. I didnt get the ladies name that cut his hair through all the chaos but I couldnt thank her enough for her kindness, patience, and understanding. I would absolutely recommend them. Its a nice environment with lots for kids to do while waiting. I can only hope her day got better after her experience with my little angel.

    A very nice place. I have a daughter and two boys. This is the only place that cute my boys hair with enough patience and care. Everywhere else is not willing to touch little kids hair. They have patience and do a good job. We also recently did my daughters bday party here and it was perfect. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The price was great for 7 girls to celebrate a bday party with a fashion show, hair styles, and getting their nails done. Highly recommended.

They especially had fun walking down the red carpet runway! I want to note that one of the staff members did something very kind that afternoon.....she gave a haircut to the host moms grandmother while the party was going on!     Great place for childrens haircuts. They also give children manicures, pedicures and hair styles. The staff is friendly and show a good amount of patience.We have attended a birthday party as well, and it was lots of fun! At the party they did all the girls hair, nails and makeup then dressed them for for a princess pageant. They did a little craft too.Warning: Let them know ahead of time if you are NOT a glitter person. Because hair cuts get a little style, colour and glitter (if ok-ed).

    Very cute salon for children. Each time that we have gone, we have had Lisa as a stylist. Lisa is very sweet and engaging with kids, and will make your child feel comfortable while getting their hair styled. The added sparkle and ribbons will leave your little one feeling like royalty.

    HIGHY RECOMMEND!!! Took my 2 year old here today for her 1st hair cut. Dessi the owner did a great job with her hair...and was so good with my daughter. Got a picture in a nice picture frame of my daughter...her hair in a Keepsake bag... and a certificate for her first haircut.. Dessi cut her hair put glitter and washable hair dye...also breaded it to... My daughter loved it and she felt like a princess...made her hole day! Will deff be a repeat customer...and gladly take the 25 min drive... Thank you Dessi was great!!

    Took my niece for a one on one spa day and dress up. we were only expecting to be there only a hour we were there for 4 hours because my niece was having so much fun playing in all the dresses and dress up. they took pictures and did her make up and had snacks and had her own. personal party. she talked about it all weekend long.

    Such a great place for kids haircuts!! The stylists are so patient with wiggly kids. They have tablets, a train table and air hockey to play with while you wait. I know they also offer birthday parties. They got 4/5 because the price for a trim is $18.

    This place is amazing. Deff worth the 200 I paid for my daughter and friends. They had a blast. Enjoyed it. They was nice friendly and very patience.
