I had an incredible experience with Ali! She did an amazing job with my cut and style, taking off about 5 inches and giving my hair exactly the refresh it needed. Before getting started, we talked through a plan together, and she was so thoughtful and cautious, making sure not to take off too much. She walked me through everything as she went, which definitely gained my trust. The service was phenomenal from start to finish. Ali is so kind, pleasant, and easy to talk to — it truly felt like catching up with an old friend. Im very grateful a friend recommended her to me, and I feel so lucky to have found my hairstylist here in Florida! Thank you, Ali — I’m already looking forward to next time!

We cannot say enough about Ali & Patrick! Looking for stylists, wedding or event hair & Make up? Look no further! Patrick came to our Air B&B to cut our son’s and grandson hair as well as my Husband. Ali worked with me for a couple of months with color leading up to our wedding day. And the day of the wedding Ali and Karrianne not only made me look amazing but they’re so much fun! A great team and just all around great people! I typically wear very little makeup if any at all and am so glad I found this team! They specialize in natural looking hair and make up and they are true artists! Patrick is very good at what he does too! All the guys looked so handsome! Hair and beards! Ali is terrific! I had been hacked badly a few months ago and was just letting it grow out. All I wanted was it cleaned up but at her urging she styled it. And am I ever happy. Super cute cut and easy to maintain. She is a doll! I highly recommend!

Ali and pat are the best of the best!!! I came in with a horrible hair cut and even worse highlights only a couple months before my wedding and she had my hair looking picture perfect! Then I knew I had to hire her for my wedding!! My husband goes to pat to get his hair cut and my husband will never go to another barber again! He makes sure it’s perfect everytime!! They both came out for our wedding to make sure not only me and my 10 bridesmaids had awesome hair but also my husband! They make you feel special when your sitting in their chair as if your talking to your best friend. I’ve recommended them to everyone and now my whole family goes to them and loves them!! Ali and Pat did both of our hairstyles for our wedding last year and we had a great experience! They are both VERY talented hairstylists, as well as very kind and generous people. Pat gave Jorge the rest of his hair gel in case he needed a touch-up and Ali even helped me get into my wedding dress. They went above and beyond to make sure we looked nice for our special day. Sometimes its awkward to sit there while someone does your hair, but both Pat and Ali are very easy to talk to and make the experience fun! I have also had Ali cut and style my hair a few other times and she really has a God given talent. I dont have to give her much guidance; she looks at my hair and knows what it needs better than I do! I totally trust her skill and expertise. Youll be in good hands whether you just need a trim or youre looking for something elaborate for your wedding day!

If you have been looking for a really good hair stylist in Melbourne, I wanted to let you know about Ali St John at Salon St John. She is an answer to a prayer! I have searched in Brevard County for over 25 years, from Titusville to Palm Bay, looking for someone who can work with thick hair! Most recently, I needed a stylist who could help me make the decision to transition to my natural color, gray! She is THE ABSOLUTE BEST! I am not exaggerating! She really knows her stuff; fantastic cut & when I was coloring my hair, as we are letting my natural color grow out, she was awesome with that! Her cuts are so good that I only need to have it cut every 8 weeks, as opposed to 5 weeks. She is such a joy to talk to & is a beautiful soul! She and her wonderful husband, Patrick, own the salon. Try her, you will not be disappointed!

This is an amazing salon! Ali and Pat are so knowledgeable about hair and their salon is immaculately clean. The salon uses top-of-the-line products that work well for any hair type. If your hair is damaged from years of flat ironing, Ali is your girl! My hair is extremely thick and wavy, and Ali knew exactly what to do to style it so that it frames my face perfectly and doesn’t become frizzy. You should definitely check out Salon St. John for excellent, personalized hair care and services. I can’t recommend it enough!Update: Ali did my wedding hair style and makeup and both looked stunning! I worked with her for an entire year to grow my hair out to achieve the style I wanted and she recommended great products to help with this. Ali somehow made the style stay put for the entire day (and night) which was a huge relief for the big day! If you are getting married and want amazing hair, go to Salon St. John!

As a female with very long hair, Im SUPER wary about letting anyone touch my hair since its been butchered by multiple stylists over the years doing what they think looks good. I met Ali at a wedding expo and she took the time to discuss my concerns and validate my feelings about the horrors of thinning sheers and Vcuts on booty length hair, and didnt try to pressure me into color services or excessive treatments and product purchases. I came in for a cut and absolutely love my hair now. She gave it so much life and movement without taking lnegth off or thinning it out. She was sure to check with me on what she was about to do before she did it to make sure I was comfortable with it, which I greatly appreciated. Long hair gals, this is the spot for you! Plus her hubby Patrick gives an awesome shampoo head massage. Will definitely be using Ali for all my future cuts.

Been meaning to write this review for a long time but this is not only the best salon that I’ve ever been to, but Pat and Ali are truly one of the best people that my family knows. They are truly genuine people that work their absolute hardest and best on everyone. Most kind and such beautiful people. My wife and I highly recommend them, will not disappoint ever! Highly skilled and trained well in their craft. They can do quite a variety of different styles and their workmanship shows. Took my wife and I forever to find a place to get a great haircut, no need to look any further than to get your cuts by the St Johns!

I have followed Ali from her renting chairs to opening her own salon. She is AMAZING, she always turns my ideas into reality and then some. I have sent many people to Salon St John and everyone comes back happy and feeling beautiful. My mom wants to fly down for her cuts and colors now. Ali is a trained professional that brings big city style and technique to a small town with very reasonable pricing. She always makes you feel like you are her priority and never feeling rushed. I can’t say enough about her and Patrick they are a great business to have in Melbourne.Ali is also great with kids and does my 6 year old hair as well for many years. Patrick is great with little guys and has done my son for a year and he’s 2.The shop is too notch clean which during this time is a must. They masks for their clients and they keep to no wait/busy waiting rooms by spacing their appointments.

Ali & Pat are amazing! Ali has been doing my hair for years. I wont let anyone else touch it! Her eye for cutting and color is so on point. It took me forever to find someone good and she far exceeds that! Her pricing is fair and for what you get it is worth every penny. The Salon is cute and comfortable. I always feel relaxed while Im there. Ali is so easy to talk to, she really listens and is also very honest. I trust her to tell me the truth and to always make me feel beautiful when I leave. I highly recommend her. I have several friends that go to her or Pat as well, and they will never leave because they truly are the best.

We absolutely love Ali and Patrick!! Ive been a client of Alis for years. My three grown sons and my daughter have had their hair cut and styled by Patrick and Ali. Their shop is so cute! Always clean and cheerful. I have fussy hair and she ALWAYS cuts and styles it so cute! More importantly, I can replicate the style on my own. She listens to what I want to do and makes suggestions. I have know Ali and Patrick now for over a year and they have such great passion in this industry. Both of them have worked on my own hair and my sons hair. Ali has the best talent in color and cutting from looking at pictures and making it a reality. I am a 12 year hairdresser and when I can point out someone who has the talent that stands pretty tall in my book. Ali knows her color from corrective color to every day wear. It takes an different kind of talent when it comes to corrective color and a completely different kind of mind set. Her professionalism is something that so needs to be recognized. From the first walk in to now year later always on top of the scale. Patrick St John also needs to be recognized on his set of skills as well. We can bring photos in to either one of them and can walk out looking amazing. I will always count on them for having this very specialized skill set they have. Thanks guys for being amazing!!

I have been going to Ali for years now! I have always been more than pleased with her performance on my hair! She can look at a client and instantly know how to make them look great! I always ask her what I should do with my hair and when I look in the mirror I am amazed at how great I look! She is so amazing at her trade it astonishes me! I have read previous reviews and the client who said she did not color her hair correctly, I assume you did not like YOUR choice of what you asked for! That is why I leave it to the professional who does this for a living that way you are never disappointed!I have also had Patrick do my hair several times and have not been disappointed! I will not be going anywhere! ANOTHER SATISFIED CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!

Patrick did a great job cutting my one year son’s hair and my daughter’s hair. Ali and Patrick are so welcoming and friendly. Ali gave me great recommendations for dealing with my daughter fine hair and preventing it from getting so tangle. My daughter brushes her hair regularly but it is so fine that causes it to be come tangled quickly.

I recently moved from Miami to Melbourne, I had been with the same hairstylist at a high end salon in Miami for 22 years - so I was a bot nervous, however, Ali was highly recommended to me by several people. I took the plunge and made an appointment...the rest is history... not only is Ali extremely knowledgeable in color and style but she took the time to sit with me and ask what I wanted and then she made her recommendation... once again I took the plunge and took her advise... the result? AMAZING... she changed my color to better suit my skin tone and she gave me the perfect cut! I highly recommend her and give her 10 stars! THANK YOU Ali! When I moved from Georgia to Melbourne I tried numerous different salons/barbers. I thought I was getting a decent haircut and I was okay with that at most places. Someone recommended St. John’s salon to me 7 months ago so I tried it out and am I so grateful I did! The couple that own this salon make me feel more than just a customer when I come in multiple times a month. They not only greet me with a smile and warm welcoming each time but they care about their customers. They are so passionate and knowledgeable about their craft and I can appreciate the effort they put into each customers experience to make sure they are more than happy! My husband and I are so thankful to have found Ali and Pat St. John. I have no clue what Tarra Sr, who gave a one star review, is talking about. With so many positive comments and high star ratings, people will focus on that and NOT the one with unkind remarks. Strange, as dissatisfied as she was, why didnt she post a pic of herself? A picture is worth a thousand words...Hopefully, people will realize that Ali and Pat have been nothing but professional, knowledgeable, and true artists in their trade with fair pricing for the exquisite work they perform. The salon is neat and clean, especially during this COVID time. My hair has never looked or felt better and I constantly get compliments, even when I barely have time to run a brush or comb thru it.
