I received a personal hair consultation with Peter and he immediately understood what I wanted. I’ll admit I was anxious and nearly didn’t get my hair done there. Thankfully I did.😊 Peter placed me with Jenny for a single process color and haircut with blowout. Jenny and her team went above and beyond. The aesthetics of the salon are gorgeous. The hair products, top notch. The salon playlist, perfect. The people and culture is warm, inviting, humble talent, gracious, forward thinking, entrepreneurial and exceptional. Again, I do not give compliments lightly. I am challenging to please.🤣 So, if you are not sure, I hope my experience gives you enough confidence to book an appointment. Davian recommended Marcella for color, and she is hands down the best colorist I’ve ever had. I just had a haircut and styling with Mike. I really loved the result! He is very professional and treats you kindly. The place is neat and elegantly decorated. Allison gently washed my hair and included a relaxing head massage. The chair electronically moves up and reclines so you feel very comfortable while she is doing it. As soon as I arrived, they offered me water, sparkling water, tea, or coffee. In conclusion, this is a happy customer!

I had my first visit, cut and color with Marcella and it was wonderful. Marcella listened to exactly what I was looking for and nailed my cut and color. I have stubborn grays and she colored/blended them so well, which has prevented a hard line of demarcation that I’ve experienced with other colorists in the past. I like a natural and soft look and she perfected it. I also have long hair/long layers with wavy hair and this is the best haircut I’ve ever had. I’m very particular with cuts because I’ve had bad ones in the past. Marcella understood my past experiences and cut my hair to perfection. My natural wave pattern has been enhanced with the perfect face framing layers. On another note, the salon is beautiful and I appreciate their seamless online booking process and transparency of prices on their website when booking. Highly recommend Marcella and will be back!

I only go to Peter Alexander Salon for my hair care. There is honestly no better salon in all of Miami Beach. I recommend it to friends and other locals as well as guests (Im in the hotel biz), even the highest maintenance once and every single person I know that goes there swears by it. I am so happy with my haircut from Peter Alexander Salon! Such an amazing experience from start to finish. I was greeted at the door and was offered a cappuccino (I even opted for decaf and they made this for me!). Steven was truly incredible! I came early so we started a bit before our appointment and he asked me exactly what I wanted and then gave his suggestions. It felt like we were working together on my hair. I also had one of the best shampoos I’ve ever had. The cut was exactly what I wanted. He also taught me how to maintain my bangs as they grow out! So so happy with my experience. Will definitely be coming back when I’m in the South Beach area. He was personable, kind and so knowledgeable about hair! If you have bangs you know, you can’t trust just anyone to cut them!P.S bonus- Steven gave me some great recommendations for restaurants and spots in south beach to visit. I have never gotten my hair colored and the colorist nailed it on the first try, Im usually very picky and ask them to adjust it but he fully got my vision and it looks amazing. The Peter Alexander Salon is beautiful! They have a large variety of amazing products for your hair. Everything is extremely clean and the interior design is beautiful! The hair wash station has the most amazing chairs that recline and are extremely comfortable. I do my hair with Mike and he is the best for cut and blow dry. My hair is never damaged after a blow dry with him, he does beautiful loose waves, my hair grows extremely quickly after a cut with him, and he is the kindest person! Talking to him is such a pleasure! I really recommend you go see Mike for your hair because he does an incredible job!
