I cant say enough great things about Art and Chemistry! I stumbled across this gem while searching for a salon close to home, and now I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and stylish, and the staff makes you feel like you’re in great hands.I see Dre for all my hair needs, and she is absolutely amazing! Not only is she incredibly talented and skilled at what she does, but she’s also so kind and patient. I was a last minute rush appointment, yet my service was anything but rush. I was treated with respect and care even though I showed up straight after cleaning house and looked like an absolute bum. Genevieve cut and styled my hair exactly as I requested. And even though it was busy, she took the time to give me styling recommendations and to show me the products she was using. I will definitely be returning to this salon.

I heard of Art and Chemistry through word of mouth, and I’m SO glad I listened. Andrea cut and colored my hair and it came out exactly like I wanted!!! I’m very particular about who does my hair and was nervous about going somewhere new, but the atmosphere was so welcoming! I felt respected and heard throughout the entire process and knew that I could trust her with my hair. Andrea did such a fantastic job! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Absolutely love how my hair came out with Gen! I decided to do a huge chop and add in color (both of which I had not done before) and I love the results. Mia the receptionist was very kind and attentive throughout the process of making my appointment. The environment was very welcoming and they made sure to take care of my hair!

Today I had the best or one of the best experiences I have ever had at a salon. Gen is a master of her craft. She is passionate and detailed. She is an artist. How the business can have anything less than 5-star reviews truly baffles me. True greatness takes time, especially when starting from scratch or worse. I am so pleased with my hair. It looks and feels healthy. I recommend this salon to everyone and anyone. I’ll be going back time and time again. Support this spectacular shop with the prettiest aesthetic too!

By far one of the best hair salons in Miami!I scheduled an appointment for my little one to get her hair cut with Andrea (Dre), she was scared to go in, but Andrea made her feel super comfortable & she ended up LOVING her haircut. I know its not easy to deal with kids & scissors but Andrea worked her magic! She even got a cool scrounge after. Definitely going to be scheduling her hair cuts at Art & Chemistry.

Omg! The best salon I’ve ever been to. Gen is incredible!!! I’ve been letting my grays grow for over a year and since she’s been toning and cutting my hair, it’s been so soft and healthy. Andrea is amazing too. They’re so nice, attentive and professional. Highly recommend!!

My mother and I have been coming to Gen for our hair for about 4 years now. When I first met her I had cherry red hair that was in TERRIBLE condition and in just one visit my hair looked and felt 100x better and I haven’t gone to anyone else since even though it takes about an hour for me to get to her. She is amazing with color, listens to what you want and always explains what she thinks would be best for your hair. At this point I’m so comfortable with her that I usually just let her do whatever she thinks will look good. I have sent so many of my friends here and all of them have been beyond happy. Art and Chemistry and Gen are amazing and I’ll come here for as long as I can :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE GEN ! she is great and so talented, i have never trusted anyone with my hair until she laid her magic hands on my mine. I love letting her get creative with me and then seeing my results is crazy fun!!!!! My hair was so awful when i met her it was embarrassing how bad it looked and felt, but thanks to gen my hair is healthy and i feel great about it. Its a blessing finding someone who cares for your hair health before money like other stylist that just see money and dont care. The salon has this awesome vibe you feel right at home and everyone is great especially Romeo !!! Gen keep on shining with your creative mind your the best!If your looking for a hairstylist/salon i highly recommend you to just call and set-up your appointment right away you wont regret it !

LOVED IT!! I haven’t dyed my hair for over 10. I really wanted a change. My stylist/colorist was Talí. She was amazing!! My appointment was for 3pm on a Friday. As soon as I walked in she took me right away. I didn’t even have to seat and wait. I asked her if she could explain the whole process before we begin. She did, took her time and told me every step and how long it would take. Mind you I wasn’t prepared to seat for so long, but it was completely worth it to have her be so meticulous in her work. I went from jet black and some grays, to tons and I do mean tons of pink, magenta, rose gold, fuchsia highlights. I absolutely love it!! The salon is so nice, clean, and welcoming. All the ladies as very sweet and nice. They love to sing and mess with each other and laugh. Which is great, so tired of going to salons where everyone is being catty with each other. My hair came out so amazing, that as soon as I got home both my mom and cousin cancelled their appointment and begged me to call Tali for a consultation. I really can’t say enough about the salon and Tali. She dedicated all her time just for me from 3pm- 8pm. I know it too for ever but worth every minute to have amazing work done. It was a bit expensive but again I rather pain for great work then pay for something I’m not happy with. She even told me if for any reason I was not happy to let her know. Not many shops tell you that. I definitely hands down recommend them.

Nobody other than Gen will ever touch my hair! She has cut it and dyed it multiple times and every time I just let her have fun with it and she never disappoints! Recently did a Brazilian blowout treatment and it has changed my styling routine! My hair is always flawless, shiny and looks extremely healthy with no effort on my part I can’t count the compliments over gotten since I got it. She’a amazing! Thank you Gen!

Art & chemistry will always be my home, my place of therapy and my place to feel happy. Gen takes the time to make her clients feel beautiful and appreciated. She knows what she is doing and she is darn good at it. I don’t live in the area but I have family and when I’m in Miami I ALWAYS make sure when I book my flight I book my appointment with Gen. It’s been 5 years and I have never looked back or wondered off to any other salon in my area (mind you I live in MD). She is a master at her work and someone as great as she is, she will be booked and that comes with her amazing abilities. So if you want to be handled with care and to ensure your hair is flawless Art & Chemistry is where you come!! This is who you want to trust with your hair. Your hair is the first thing people see why go to someone that may not understand your wants and dreams!

Gen was so accommodating to my wants and needs. Coming from California, I have high expectations for hair stylist and just like the name suggest she is a color genius! True Chemist! She is also great at cutting hair. Some stylist are good at one or the other, Gen is amazing at both! She pays attention to detail and really wants you to walk out feeling like a queen! If you want to have a Yasss Queen moment, look no further that Art&Chemistry! 💁🏻‍♀️

It’s like she’s a mind reader when it comes to your hair, she will bring your ideas to life 100%. I will go back over and over. I will never let anyone else touch my hair again. I was referred here by my niece that needed some major work done to her hair from a previous mishap that occurred elsewhere and I must say that Gen worked miracles and her hair came out amazing! With that said, I decided to give Gen a shot myself after a year of looking into where to go for a balayage and I must say that she exceeded my expectations. I’m in love with my hair. GEN IS THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!I had never done ANYTHING to my hair except cut it w the same guy my whole life so i wanted to make sure if i did something itd be done right bc i love my hair. Art and Chemistry is the place to be at. Gen is coolest person ever and shes so freakin talented and passionate about her job it gives her all the more credibility!!!! her salon is gorgeous and shes just very detail oriented which is something u want when someone does you hair. im not doin my hair w anyone else, even when i have no idea whats shes doing i always trust her and the process bc she knows what shes doing & shes very genuine and honest so shell tell and show u step by step whats going on w out any weird stuff. this is so long but if u read this trust me u wont regret it!!

I have been coming to Gen since my daughter was 3 now she is 14. She is an amazing colorist and stylist. She is down to earth. We don’t trust our hair with anyone one else. After I strayed a few times I learned the hard way. I always come back. she is alway so busy and always booked. You won’t be disappointed with her work. Don’t take my word for it. See for yourself.

Love this salon! Tali is my hair dresser and she never dissapoints. The owner is a delight and is very welcoming. I love it when she makes coffee. Ive seen them doing highlights, firey red, full platinum blonde, and pink - all came out perfect!!! If youre cosidering them, go! You will not be dissapointed.

5 STARS FOR THESE LADIES! I have legit been searching for 2 years for a hair stylist since mine is too far and I am glad I found Art & Chemistry. Steph and Gen are honestly the best. I did a lot of research and obviously stalked their instagram account to see their outcome and I knew this was the place. The atmosphere is great, the girls are awesome they seriously know what they are doing and I love my balayage come on that came out amazinggggggg.
