I have been going to Avalon Salon for at least 15 years and surprised I haven’t written a review. Tina has always been consistently excellent with my cuts and color. She is good at making recommendations at what would look best. The entire team is friendly and I am happy to have found Avalon Salon.

I have been Avalon’s client since the 1990’s and I would never go to any other place. They excel in coloring my hair and in cutting it. In Wash and blow dry they are the best. My children and grandchildren are clients too.Tina, Rei and Olga are the best! You can’t go wrong with any of them.

Best place to get your hair done in Miami! My hair is more on the wavy/curly & thicker side and I’ve always had trouble finding someone who can cut or style it correct it. The highlights and cut are perfect every time.The entire staff at the salon is fabulous. They are all friendly, honest, and professional. This is quite rare these days. I feel extremely lucky to have found this gem in the Gables :)

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Location is convenient with paid street parking, salon itself is very cute and clean and they take COVID19 precautions (which I appreciated). The staff are so kind and make sure that you leave happy! I had a hard time describing what kind of haircut I was going for but Olga worked with me every step of the way. They have gained a loyal customer! If youre looking for a local hair salon, Avalon Salon wont disappoint.

Love this Salon! Olga, has been my stylist for almost two years and I recommend her if you’re thinking of getting done real dark colors, like blue or red she’s really good. I brought my daughter and she got blue highlights she was very happy with her new look.Everyone there are very nice and the place is always clean and I love that they disinfect everything even the chairs once they’re done.

I’m so happy with my experience at Avalon Salon. I walked in 10 mins before opening in hopes that I could do a walk-in mani pedi and they greeted me warmly with smiles beneath their masks. They accommodated me without a problem and my appointment began as soon as the nail tech walked in, about 5mins before they opened. Everyone was wearing their masks and there was a plastic divider between me and the nail tech. She did an incredible job and I love how it came out. Their prices and customer service were fantastic and I will certainly be returning(especially since the location is only 1 minute from my apartment)!

Tina is a fabulous hair dresser/designer. I’ve been going to Tina for over almost 2 decades and she always delivers no matter what challenges I throw at her. Rey is also a fabulous hair designer and makeup artist. They make a great team and complement each other’s strengths. Everyone in the salon is down to earth, friendly and professional!! I highly recommend this salon for all needs!!

I always have an amazing experience! The owner is friendly and accommodating, I call in the morning the day that I want to get my hair done and he’s always able to accommodate me with a time. He also styles hair beautiful and super on point! I always get my compliments after I cut my hair with him. This is best salon in The Gables and I’m happy that I have a hairstylist that is a true artist and cares about his customers :)

Impressive! I was looking for a new hairdresser. An acquaintance recommended Rei at Avalon. I was able to get squeezed in for a haircut with blow dry.Rei is friendly, talented and fast! I found my new guy! Left the salon feeling stylish, bouncy and sexy.What more can a girl ask for!? Oh, reasonable prices, yup! $80 for a women’s haircut in the gables, sign me up! Super sweet staff as well. Don’t hesitate to give Avalon and Rei a try. Two thumbs up!

I love this place!! My husband and my kids get their haircuts here by rei and Tina, and they are amazing, such a cozy atmosphere and everyone there is super nice and makes you feel incredibly comfortable. I just finished doing my very first bayalage with Tina and she did an amazing job! I left the salon glowing! She did an amazing job with my hair, she colored it amazing, just how I wanted it and she did an amazing job with cutting and blow drying it! I am extremely happy and would recommend this place to anyone!!!! They do amazing hair, and they also do eyebrows and nails!!! You won’t be disappointed!

The staff is friendly and accommodating ( great coffee or expiresso) The ambiance is calm and inviting. A huge plus is they offer “free” parking in the back of their salon Overall, when you choose Avalon you will leave with a chic do and a renewed spring in your step! Highly recommend! A++

I went into a Avalon with a disaster to be fixed. Major color correction, needed a trim, and my hair was dry and porous.Rey and Tina evaluated the situation and not only did they fix it, the time I was there I felt taken care of, everyone was had a smile on their face, and they made it feel like a VIP experience for me. I went from blonde with orange roots and burnt white tips, to a cool auburn with blue tips. I cant wait to return and see what we can do next.Also, I saw a couple of longtime friends there and they claimed to have been going there for years, just as most of the clients that were there. Consistency and quality are very important to me, so that means a lot to see that.They also have facials, so that is my next step... if they are as good as the hair care: Im set with avalon for life!

I love Avalon Salon. I discovered this place 10 years ago when I was working in the Gables. My hairstylist is Rei, the owner. They only use top quality products on your hair from the shampoo to the color. I work in the beauty industry so I am very aware of quality. My hair is blonde and my highlights always turn out so beautiful and natural looking, I highly recommend this salon, I drive down from Miami Beach just to see Rei.

Its true what they say! Friendly service, clean atmosphere, deliciois products to wash and condition your hair, and REY or REI or RAY idk how to spell it but HES A LIFESAVER! I ruined my bangs trying to cut them myself and he totally transformed the look! Im so excited about his work im definitely going back! This is my first review for ANY place and i have to give major Kudos to him and all the other staff for they were just wonderful. Affordable pricing aswell but i didnt paint my hair.
