My friend and I, from Wisconsin and Minnesota, were looking for a relaxing and affordable spring getaway. We’ve always wanted to try a Korean ASMR head spa treatment, and after seeing so many glowing reviews about Bamboo Beauty & Wellness in Miami, we decided to plan our trip around it — and it did not disappoint!Our experience was absolutely amazing. We were able to have our head spa treatments done together in the same room, which made it even more special. The treatment was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. I have blonde, oily, and dry hair, while my friend has black hair with a more typical texture. The staff tailored the products to our individual hair types, which made a noticeable difference. My hair looked brighter and shinier afterward, and my scalp felt deeply cleansed — I didn’t realize how much I needed that!On top of the head spa, we also received an arm and back massage during the treatment — such a nice bonus! The staff’s attention to detail and personalized care made the whole experience even better. I left feeling refreshed and with noticeably healthier hair. It was absolutely worth the trip from the Midwest to Miami, and I can’t recommend this place enough!P.s. The redness in the photos is because I am sunburnt.

I love this place! I’ve gotten my hair cut there for a year now. I like how they cut my hair there. My wife’s likes it too. I take my daughters there to get their nails done as well. My oldest always is surprised how well and long her nails look good. The paint stays on longer than other places. My youngest lives to get a facial massage with face mask and other treatments. The staff is friendly and professional. I always enjoy my time here. They give validation for the parking. It’s located inside the Grand Double Tree Hotel. They always offer me complementary coffee or water. I like to support business like this. Where the owner pays special attention to everything. She makes sure that her staff and customers are well taken care of. She does what I would do, if I owned this place, by being involved and caring.

Follow on IG for more local reviews (@arybu05) This was my first visit to Bamboo Spa and I absolutely love it, recommended 5 of 5. This was actually my first time ever getting a massage done, and I will definitely recommend the experience. I booked the Swedish, with hot stones. The staff at the front desk was very attentive and making the apt was quick and easy. Once I arrived a few minutes before my apt, I had no wait time. The masseuse, Nico, was extremely nice and professional during the process, since she knew this was my first massage, she took the time to explain the process and address my concerns before starting the procedure. Since this is inside the Double Tree Hotel, you can take a walk with an amazing view after you finish your massage or grab a bite at one of the casual dining places/restaurants. The massage took about 90 minutes, and I enjoyed every minute of it. They use different techniques depending on your tolerance and where you feel the most discomfort. For example, I spend over 8 hours on the computer daily and my neck, shoulders, back and hands are very stiff, so she focused mainly on those parts to make sure. I left there feeling so relaxed and you can notice the immediate difference . I advise, to refrain from working out for a few days since your muscles can be sore. To be honest, you will feel sore for a few days, especially if you dont get massages often, but in the long run it feels great all the knots gone. I cant wait to go back to get my next massage. I recently visited the ASMR head spa and it was an incredibly relaxing experience! It was the perfect girls day out and I loved that my friend and I could enjoy the treatment together in same room. Visiting from the frozen Midwest, my scalp was extremely dry, but after the session it felt so clean and refreshed! I highly recommend this spa for anyone looking to unwind and rejuvenate their scalp.

I really like this place. I usually see Josue for my hair. He has done my haircut and 2 blowouts. I like Josue because I find him to be very meticulous. He takes his time and is very detail oriented.I worked in the salon industry for over 25 years so I can tell when someone takes pride in their work. I also like that he is very kind. No attitude, no snobbiness.The salon is really pretty, clean and upscale. Prices are fair. The products are incredible!! I’m a big fan of Moroccan oil products.I also have lash extensions put on by Vicky. Same situation, very professional.I love that she doesn’t make me look like I have tarantula legs on my eyes. She does beautiful work as well.

The folks here reached out to me and offered me service at no cost to try and make for a better experience; I couldn’t do that because I was already heading out of town but I really appreciated that they offered that and they also gave me a refund for my services. So, maybe it was just an off day, but they clearly care enough to try and make it right.——I wish I had looked more closely at the non-five-star reviews of this place before booking. I really wanted to try a head spa treatment, so thats how/why I found this place.The pictures on Google and on their website make this place seem nicer, cleaner, and more luxe than it is. Looking at the map, I also thought it was in the Double Tree, as in part of the hotels spa treatments. It is not; its in a mall/commercial area connected to the hotel. So, given all that, I think I had higher expectations for the place re: atmosphere. level of service, and products used. It wasnt horrible, but it wasnt great and I wish I had spent my money elsewhere. I spent $190, not including tip on the head spa + facial + reflexology and wish I had just gone to a more upscale spa and spent a little more money to have a better experience while on vacation. If this was a place where I lived, I might come here if I happened to be in the area and just felt like getting a foot massage or something. The head spa was underwhelming and the facial was, like the entire experience, OK, but not great.

Did the basic ASMR head spa experience and was absolutely blown away. My hair has never been cleaner, and the massage portion was great. I opted to blow dry my own hair and they had top of the line styling tools to use as well as the full Moroccan oil line to finish the look. I will do this every time I come back to Miami!

I got a chair massage, and the massage itself was great. Very reasonably priced and I felt very relieved.I will say that the chair massages are in the main hallway of the spa, not anywhere private. Everyone coming in for their massages inside the treatment room walked by me in the chair. Employees were talking to each other, phone notifications going off. Someone also set up a ladder about two feet from my hair to repair something on the ceiling of the hallway. Not very relaxing of an environment for the chair massages.

I had the full body deep tissue massage with Nicole, probably the best quality massage I have ever had. She found every single knot and worked on them until they melted away. Very happy with my experience! Also had the Korean facial and let me tell you, even more relaxing than the full body massage! Emily performed the facial, she took her time and analyzed my skin. She determined I needed a detox and she unclogged all my pores. My skin was glowing when I left. 10/10 TREAT YOURSELF AND GET A FACIAL OR MASSAGE OR BOTH!

I had my first prenatal massage with Linda and I can tell you, it was amazing!! They have this special pregnant pillow where you can lay down on your stomach (it has holes for your breast and belly, and it has an elevation) it was the first time I could lay on my stomach in 7 months and it felt amazing. The prices are very competitive vs many other massage spas I called in Miami and Miami Beach ($90 for 60 min and $130 for 90 min). Best thing is they validate the Grand Hotel Valet Parking ($5 for 4 hours). I love it!

Let me just say that was the best deep tissue massage I’ve EVER had and I’ve been getting massages for over 20+ years! I will definitely be back. I went for a 60 min massage I booked on ClassPass. I was unaware the area they do massages is on the second floor where you need to take an elevator up. The second floor looks deserted and the place itself was pretty sketchy as a solo female I was reluctant to enter. The massage itself was great however due to the weird vibes I will not return.Also if you book on ClassPass make sure to call beforehand to specify if you want a male or female mass use.

I visited for the 1st time and Kiki was very accommodating and immediately took care of me. I found Sakura Spa after searching for infrared sauna places via Google.I just have to say that this is a hidden gem located inside the Grand DoubleTree. Intimate environment, zen music, not crowded, clean, and provided water, robes + clean towels for your sauna.I ended up booking a combo: 1hr sauna + 1hr massage, so glad I did! Sauna was clean, spacious and they have 2 saunas with chromotherapy. The sauna room has a lot of space and gives you enough privacy to change, no one else will interfere with your session. The Temperature of the sauna raises gradually and can go to 150 F.Next to the sauna they have the massage room so you can just go straight to your session. Cindy gave me the most relaxing massage and was very caring about how I felt the entire time. After the sauna + massage my body felt so good.

My husband and I came here for our first massage and facial treatment. We were beyond satisfied with our treatment. We got the couples massage with a gentleman’s facial and a Korean facial. The two people who did our massage really worked at the muscles that needed the most work. The Korean facial was satisfying, the woman took out all the black heads and dead skin from my face. Highly recommended.

My fiancé found Bamboo Wellness and Spa while we were in Miami, and I’m so glad we came! I had just had surgery, and my feet were extremely swollen from being on them so much during our trip. All I wanted was to relax and decompress, and Max, my massage therapist, made it happen. He was so kind and attentive, especially considering I couldn’t sit leaned back due to my recovery. Max made sure to accommodate my seating arrangement and was very mindful of the areas where I was experiencing soreness. He really targeted the spots I told him about and checked in with me throughout the session to ensure I was comfortable and positioned properly. The service was outstanding, and I left feeling so much better. I highly recommend Bamboo Wellness and Spa and will definitely be back on my next visit to Miami!

Appointment Required. I got same day Appointment. Called an Scheduled over phone. I got a combo massage with a foot massage for an hour an it was worth the $80. Full body massage was an experience Ive never had as far as being massage around my butt area between legs which was done by a lady so it wasnt to weird. Was Forced to tip &it was so awkward. The Massage Felt Great Might I Add!

They are all excellent professionals, and at the reception they are courteous and helpful.The costs are adequate considering the area (Edgewater), and in addition they have a discount system that allows you to save significantly based on the number of your visits. l am definitely a satisfied customer.

What a great experience! My friend and I booked a head spa treatment (yes the ones you see on tik tok) and a foot message and came out feeling wonderful! This is the first time I see a place like this in Miami. My therapist’s name was Luna, she was very experienced and not only did she give me a great wash and treatment on my hair but she was also an excellent masseuse. She really worked on areas that I needed all while my hair was getting done. She also helped my friend and I coordinate our foot massages at the same and overall was just a sweetheart. I would 100% visit this place again and book with Luna once more. Definitely give this one a try!

I looked everywhere for a head spa in Miami and finally was referred here by my friend gabby who I ran I to right after here treatment. I went finally today and let me tell you it was life changing, the place Is so cute inside the grand the girls were so sweet and greeted me kindly, Fiona took care of me and she was the sweetest happiest person, she made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Seriously: best massage I’ve ever had. I’m not kidding. I got a 1-hour couples massage, and it was amazing. My technician was named Eric, I believe, and let me tell you, he was a complete pro. Two hours later, and I still feel great. The tightness I’m used to feeling in my upper back is gone. My spine feels almost…wiggly. The technique my masseuse used was unlike others I’ve experienced; he targeted really tricky spots that you don’t really think to target, covered large areas in waves of really phenomenal pressure, and positioned me in ways that released tension I didn’t even know I had. My teenage son who plays a lot of sports also got a massage, and says the whole thing felt amazing beginning to end. One thing to note is that I would’ve liked more attention to my feet, but that’s not on them: I booked a full body massage so there’s a lot to cover in an hour. Therefore, I bring this up only to say that if you book a body massage and want more attention to your feet, then I suggest you also book a foot massage. Unfortunately, I am only visiting, but if I lived in the area, I promise I would be a regular. This place may not have the contemporary aesthetics of other spas, but for quality and price, Sakura wins. The receptionist was also very sweet and extremely accommodating, with a kind disposition and a really calm, soothing voice. 🙂 10/10

I had a great experience with the 60 minute ASMR Head Massage. My hair has heat damage in one section, and my scalp has been very dry lately. The massage was not only relaxing, but it really helped my dry scalp and hair. I have not had any dandruff for almost a week now, and the heat damaged section of my hair feels soft and hydrated. I am taking away one star because the stations for this service are in an area where there are people passing by and talking. While I was there, a brief argument broke out between two people (not sure if staff/customer or between staff members) about the lights in that area being on. It was resolved quickly, but I could hear the whole thing and was not able to relax while they were going back and forth. Other than that, it was a lovely experience. I just wish it was in a quieter, more secluded area. Regardless, I plan to do this treatment at least once a month.

I like my massages strong and precise. My therapist did not hold back when he found knots and muscle adhesion. We both did the lymphatic drainage massage, which was absolutely amazing - only thing is that we were booked in the same room, which is fine/we are close friends, but we didn’t receive any discount for this as a couples massage normally would. Afterwards, she went on to have another massage service and I had the gua sha facial - absolutely loved this service. However, I had originally booked a 30 min scalp massage + 30 min facial, and even confirmed this upon arrival - I ended up receiving a 1-hr facial, without my knowledge (I was too relaxed to notice or keep track of time), and this wasn’t communicated to me until they led me to the register to pay, I was confused as to why I wasn’t getting the scalp massage and was only then informed that they no longer have that service. Overall, great experience and wonderful massage techniques, I just wish communication - about the double-room and cancelled service - would have been better.

I’ll preface by saying Sakura Spa is a hidden GEM! Honestly, one of the best massages I’ve had in South Florida! AND the BEST VALUE! Their prices are extremely reasonable for the area. The salon is impeccable clean and the tables are extremely comfortable! I’ve been a few times -I’ve had both Anna and Kevin. Both are amazing. They specialize in deep tissue and reflexology -but their Swedish techniques are top as well. It’s location is in a busy mall at the Grand, however you’ll feel like you visited the Ritz or Four Seasons after a session. Amazing experience!!

Very friendly staff and amazing services! They really make you feel at home and comfortable throughout everything. Emma helped me out on my second time here when I got cupping and a facial done. Love this place. Come for a relaxing time away from the stresses of the day.

Nice massage. We did a couples massage. One was a hot rocks Swedish .massage with Amy,, and the other was deep tissue with Jack. Both were very good, and well worth the money! They were very reasonably priced. The facilities were clean, the experience ce was good overall.

Had a deep tissue massage here! Emma was absolutely incredible. I felt she was really listening to the body inside of just being on ‘auto-pilot’ as of often feels during a massage. Would highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I got a couples massage, facial and infrared sauna experience. Every service was incredible, thoughtful and relaxing. I especially enjoyed my deep tissue massage with Amy and the gentleman’s facial with Emma. Will definitely be back!

The best Asian Massage place in Miami! I visited for the 1st time and this place have good energy. Kiki was very accommodating and immediately took care of me. I found Sakura Spa after searching for infrared sauna places via Google.I just have to say that this is a hidden gem located inside the Grand DoubleTree. Intimate environment, zen music, not crowded, clean, and provided water, robes + clean towels for your sauna.I ended up booking a combo: 1hr sauna + 1hr massage, so glad I did! Sauna was clean, spacious and they have 2 saunas with chromotherapy. The sauna room has a lot of space and gives you enough privacy to change, no one else will interfere with your session. The Temperature of the sauna raises gradually and can go to 150 F.Next to the sauna they have the massage room so you can just go straight to your session. Cindy gave me the most relaxing massage and was very caring about how I felt the entire time. After the sauna + masage my body felt so good.Asians are the best at what they do, I dont think people give them enough credit! A lot of fancy places at the beach, very expensive and they dont even give you a good massage. Sakura has very decent prices and good combos. I will definitely come back and try their other services.*Update* I tried the foot reflexology + Detox Facial with Gua Sha, it was absolutely incredible. This people know what they are doing, you will keep coming back!My advice - Give this place a chance! They will not disappoint.
