Ashley is the GOAT! I went for a haircut today after finding this salon online and making an appointment because of the great reviews. It was the best hair salon experience of my LIFE. Not even kidding! Ashley was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She asked me plenty of questions about my hair care routine to nail down a haircut that would work best for me. She did an amazing job with the wash, cut, and blow dry. She even gave me a shower cap to wear out to my car since it was a rainy day! Highly recommend. ✨

Ashley is the best best best! Never had anyone who colors my hair and corrects the imperfections better. Anytime I go she makes suggestions and is able to correct whatever is going on with my hair each time. I am a forever Base Hair and Skin client! Ive been going to BASE for multiple years. I left a review after my initial visit, but wanted to leave a new review so that anyone considering their services know that going to them is the RIGHT decision! Ashley is the only person I allow to cut my hair (fine, pixie cut). She is a star. I always leave so pleased. Ashley has never rushed through our sessions. She always starts by taking time to really listen to what I want - even when its as simple as trimming the dead ends. Ashley doesnt push products on clients, though shes happy to offer her opinion if asked. She genuinely respects everyone who comes through her door. I feel so fortunate to have found her as a stylist and am grateful Ive been able to patron BASE for all these years.

Im real picky with my haircuts; Ashley is the only person where I dont mind being turned away from the mirror because I trust that she knows what I like and she knows what she is doing. She gets to know her clients and make them feel comfortable that theyre going to leave satisfied. Highly recommend for men looking to get a haircut with more care and finesse than a dude with some clippers.

I’ve been getting my hair done with Ashley for almost 2 years and she is amazing. As I do whenever I’m looking for a new option, I turned to yelp when I was in need of a new stylist. And that’s when I found Ashley. She was at a different location at the time but had nothing but raving reviews so I felt safe and confident to put my trust in her. My first visit was for a color correction after I had been box dying my own hair for years. She did an amazing job right out of the gate. I was so happy I kept her as my permanent stylist for all my hair needs. Over the course of the almost 2 years I’ve been with her, she helped my hair grow for my wedding, and has since cut my hair into a great pixie. Which if you’ve ever had a pixie you understand the struggle to find a stylist that understands the cut and keeps up with the current trends.Aside from the obviously amazing skills, I’d say the best part about Ashley is her patience and ability to listen to exactly what you want from your hair. Ashley is amazing, authentic, honest, and incredibly talented!!! I moved to Miami 2 years ago and have tried several other stylists in the area but didnt super love any of them until I found Ashley. She is incredibly knowledgeable about hair and is an epic artist when it comes to cutting, hydrating, styling, and reviving--She brought my curls back to life and taught me a TON about how to take care of my hair so that it truly thrives! I love love love this place. After 16 years with my previous hair stylist I needed a change. Ashley is awesome! I had black hair color done prior and she did a color correction for me and is slowly lightening my hair to brown. She uses very good products! She has managed to lighten my hair without damaging it! Julie is also very good! I did a lash Lift with her that lasted me over 6 weeks!! Cant wait to do a facial amongst other services they off!! They are the best! I wish them lots of luck and success.

Ashley is the best!! I absolutely love her new salon. She is super friendly, easy to talk to, and ALWAYS knows exactly what I want/need for my hair (even when I tell her I want 100 different colors, cuts, etc.!) Whenever I get my hair done, I feel like I am hanging out with a great friend! Like I said, she is THE BEST!! I have been hesitant to find a stylist in Miami but finally got to the point I couldnt keep fitting appointments in when I visited home. I was looking for someone who knew blondes and Ashley definitely fits the bill! My hair is up a lot for work and needed some TLC and she was really helpful recommending changes and products to look for. She was mindful of my budget and discussed what I wanted for my color and I love the final product. She also cleaned up my ends beautifully and I got so many compliments for the rest of the day. My hair feels the healthiest it has in many years and Im so happy I went to Base!

I have been looking for someone to replace my previous stylist for a while and my hair was a complete disaster. Ashley was absolutely fantastic and spent time with me talking through what was causing my issues and the horrible texture of my hair. My cut is fantastic and my hair feels so much lighter and smoother. I think I have found my new stylist in Miami.A huge bonus is the fact that I could get my waxing done in the same place! I had never sugared before and I will never go back to waxing. My sensitive skin loves the organic process. Thanks to Julie for making me a convert!Keep it up ladies! I always look forward to my trips to BASE hair and skin. The environment of the salon is inviting and welcoming, cute location overlooking Sunset Dr., Parking garage conveniently located across the street. Julie has been my esthetician for the past 7 years. I cant go a month without having my derma planing facial, oxygenating peel and my legs sugared! Julie uses top of the line products that truly ensure that you leave there glowing. Ive had both lash extensions and the lash lift done and Ive been very happy with both results. Julie and Ashley are awesome! Im beyond grateful that I found my go to place.

Great experience with Brittany. She was kind and listened to all of my concerns from my previous experiences at another salon. She is highly skilled (she worked in NYC for years) and did an incredible blonde balayage. It was natural looking and after she cut it, it was healthy looking, too! Making an appointment was easy and I was able to park with no problem in the garage across the street. This place is a hidden gem and I am so grateful that I found Brittany on IG. I will definitely be back!
