I just had my first curly hair experience at Chelsea Rae Salon, and I’m so glad I came! It honestly exceeded all my expectations. Johana was my stylist, and she was amazing—she walked me through all the products she used and gave me great recommendations for my hair. If youre in Miami and looking for a great spot for curly hair care, I definitely recommend this salon!

Johana is the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. She is nice, always exceeds what I’m asking for with a good energy, just what l need for my curls to be on point and healthy. Also, she was the one who did my transition from whole keratin to my amazing natural hair with a touch of psychology 😂. I just love her and recommend her 100% ❤️

I absolute loved my experience at this salon with Johanna! I trust her blindly with my curls & for a few years now. I got a blonde balayage, a curly cut and a wash & style. The attention given to my curls, teaching me step by step how to style, and wash as always was super detailed ! My curls have grown so much ever since. Johanna will definitely teach you how to care for your curls after color treating, follow up with you to give your curls the attention they need.I suggest investing in the products Johanna recommends as they help, my hair has maintained super healthy since investing!At home treatment is the most important.I would come here again a million times. She’s amazing and so is the service here!!

I chose Johana to do my hair and I’m so happy I did. I emphasized that I wanted to lighten my hair as much as possible without damaging my curls and she accomplished it. I also got some layers done and they came out phenomenal. I love it and strongly recommend coming here to get your hair done!!!

Not only does she explains the steps she is taking to achieve the desired look, she also has a friendly dispostion which allows each of her clients to fill comfortable in her care.The Chelsea Rae Salon in Miami is a beautiful, clean and very functional establishment. Amazing service from the moment you walk in!!!! Johana is Amazing ✨️✨️ at what she does with cutting, styling and educating on whats best for curls. My daughter and I came in for cuts and style and I also got color all we could say was WOW!!! We absolutely loved our cuts, style and my color was flawless. Im really glad we chose to come to Chelsea Rae Salon. We will definitely be back!!

Nice brightly lit modern space, easy parking.Johana is an incredibly talented stylist. She’s detail oriented and takes a lot of pride in her work. She helped color correct my previous hair color and has done an amazing job. I highly recommend her for dry curly hair cuts and hair coloring / highlighting. Beautiful work!

I just got my curly haircut at Chelsea Rae Salon by the very talented Chelsea. I was feeling self-conscious about coming in with really dirty hair (maybe 1.5 weeks), but Chelsea made me feel super comfortable. I did not feel judged at all when coming into the salon! Chelsea and her staff are super down to earth, kind, and really excited about offering their excellent services to women with all varieties of curly hair textures here in Miami. I hadn’t cut my hair in over a year, and Chelsea did a great job cutting and styling it so my hair now feels super soft, with juicy curls, and great shine. I’m excited to finally find a curly girl hair salon I can trust here in Miami!

Im so glad Chelsea Rae opened a salon in Miami because I think Ive found my forever curly hair salon! The booking was super easy and they were so accommodating when there was a scheduling conflict. Jessica fully understood the assignment and achieved my absolute curly hair dreams. She gave me a curly cut with some brown highlights (without needing to bleach my hair thank god) and I never thought my hair could look this good. She was so helpful with product advice and hair upkeep that doing my hair is now exciting and not a pain in the ass. I immediately told my friends and am so happy to have found a (reliable) place that I will continue to go to. Worth every penny!

I’ve been getting my hair done with Johana for several years now, and I absolutely love the way she shapes and styles it. She’s the best person who’s ever cut my hair and even after I moved, I book with her whenever I’m in town. The salon is also super cute and I love the space. She has great routine and product recommendations that are achievable at home :) Cannot recommend her enough.

I am so grateful for Chelsea Rae Salon! I have found it extremely difficult to find people I trust to do my hair and now only allow Jess or other Chelsea Rae stylist to do my hair. I have traveled to both their Pittsburgh and Miami salons seeking out their specific expertise.I have very tightly coiled (4C) color processed hair that used to suffer from dryness and breakage. Jess has done an amazing job ensuring and restoring the health of my hair. She is very knowledgeable in color, curly cutting, and products. She removed dead ends, is a master at color and makes sure to recommend products specific to my hairs needs.She is always on time, efficient and very kind. The salon is beautifully appointed and comfortable. It’s located in a cute area (I grabbed food at a cute coffee shop around the corner) and I highly recommend them!

I’m over the moon having found Chelsea Rae Salon. Trusting others with your head, in particular those of us with all kinds of curls, is not the easiest in a place like Miami where curl care is not the most accessible nor affordable.Right as I entered the salon for my appt I saw Chelsea’s beautiful curls and was welcomed with such warmth, all my fears were immediately dispelled. I came in for a trim and copper colored highlights. Chelsea poured me a glass of the most delicious Pinot Grigio I promise I’ve ever had while she mixed the colors to match the tone I was looking for! Also! They got the most comfortable head basin/sink things where they wash your hair.Jess washed my hair, styled my curls, and diffused them with such care and patience!! (Jess also has such beautiful hair.) They left my curls the prettiest I’ve seen them in so, so long. I feel my baddest* again after coming here and Im really looking forward to coming back for routine trims and/or when Im feeling adventurous and want to try a new color. I know I can come here and am in good, honest hands no matter what kinda look I want to achieve while maintaining my curl health. Oh!! And they do locs!Chelsea and Jess are such kind, generous, patient people and my time with yall was the loveliest! So happy yall are bringing your expertise and generosity to Miami

Arianne has been cutting my 3B curly hair for YEARS and she is the best in the business. I have never been able to find anyone more attentive and informative with curly hair. You can tell that her and Johana (who is also absolutely amazing at this salon as well) really care deeply about their clients and the services they provide. The salon itself is very clean with good quality hair products in an easy to find location. I could not recommend Arianne and Johana enough. Absolutely wonderful.

To all my ladies with curly hair… i cannot thoroughly recommend this salon enough. SPECIFICALLY my new found best friend & curly hair goddess Johana. When i tell you i had lost all hope for my curly hair because it was so so frizzy, and dry. I would always blow dry or iron my hair so I had so much heat damage. Not to mention that I didn’t know what products were right for me to use, or which ones hydrated my hair. Johanna from the moment I walked into her studio, made me feel at home, asked me what were the kind of goals I wanted to achieve with my hair and she walked me through the entire process. I did a deep condition curly cut, and styling and I ended up walking out of there completely falling in love with my curly hair all over again. To tell you this much after I saw her I only put heat on my hair ONCE in 3 months. So much so that I never grew up wearing my hair curly for any special events EVER. I went to a wedding in December and i came right back to my girl and she styled my hair for the wedding (Blue dress pictures) and let me just say I was the sensation of the night 😭 will forever swear by this Salon and i’ll always always always be so grateful for Johanna who made me fall inlove with my curly hair again!

Great new curly hair salon in Miami. Beautiful, relaxing and cozy. I’ve been with Johana for almost 8 years and she is the only hairdresser that I allow to cut my curly hair. Did my big chop and has shaped my hair ever since. Products used at the salon are premium and great!

Johana was my stylist at a previous salon that I followed to the salon she’s currently at. I appreciate the care she takes with my hair and educating me on techniques and products. It’s challenging to find a good stylist that understands afro Latina hair. The salon itself is very relaxing and quiet with a nice ambiance.
