Great spot for a hair cut or hair treatment. Friendly staff and very talented hairstylists. I’ve been going here for sometime and have always received great service. Mikel is my favorite and always leaves me feeling fresh! They also sell some great Italian hairstyling products that are reasonably priced.

It was a pleasure to sit in Zwades chair for a much needed cut + balayage/color update. He listened to my requests, gave me options and fulfilled the vision with his gentle and experienced hands. I left the salon very very happy with the results. 10/10 recommend.

I found ContestaRockHair when I desperately needed to fix a very bad haircut given to me in another salon. Mikel took time to listen and understand what I wanted, and then with great care and skill corrected all the damage done by the other stylist and turned what was a disaster into beautiful and stylish French bob! I ended up with an even better style than I originally wanted! Im so happy I found this salon; Im definitely coming back.

It’s hard to find a place where they do an amazing job for a great price. I love this place, my hair it’s been beautiful, healthy since I started going to this place. No matter where I go, people constantly stop me to ask who does my hair—Mikel’s work speaks for itself!More recently, I’ve started working with Suede, who is newer to the salon but an absolute expert when it comes to blondes. I have rarely found an experience better than going to Contesta. For those not in the know, this is a mostly Italian salon with a cool vibe and Miamis most talented stylists. I have been going to Enzo for many years and he is one of those people who is so good at their trade it’s a pleasure to see.

I started w Klaudia for color and I love her for color. I used to go to a very high end salon for basic (DARK) color and they got it wrong every time. During my last color visit, Claudia cut my hair. OMFG - BEST haircut Ive gotten in years! She doesnt speak english too well - but always asks for assistance if she needs to explain something. Shes really super talented. I LOVE her!

Michael is by far one of the most talented hair stylists I’ve ever met. His precision with cut and color is superb. The new space in Buena Vista is super cool. This particular location is the newer one compared to original one located in south beach on Espanola Way which will be gone at the end of this year(2019). Staff there will relocate to newer location in Buena Vista Area Miami. Entire staff is Great!!!! Contestarockhair is Eclectic. Extremely well trained staff with great personalities. Once youve been there you will want to come back! They do both men & womens hair.
