She makes sure to keep your hair healthy and never fries your hair like most balayage artist do, the sessions might be a process that contains gaps of time that we might not want but trust the process, she is a true professional at getting you exactly what you’re asking for without damaging your hair. I never take the time to write reviews this long but take this from a loyal client of 10 years! She is unmatched and worth the 1 hour drive! She never disappoints. If I can rate 1000 I would.

There’s a lot of things in the life that are not a given, but when I go to Hair Designs by MJ, it is a given that I will leave there happy and feeling beautiful!! My hair has never been healthier, stronger, and more beautiful than it is now.I have never colored my hair because I was worried about it breaking and falling out. Since I trust MJ, I decided to give it a try. First off, she gave me a choice in the color and gave her opinion on which color would look best. She took her time, explained every step, made sure that I walked out happy, and kept checking on me after I left.My hair does not have a relaxer in it. She used a non-chemical keratin. She checked to see which brand was best, went to a class, explained the product to me, and then used it on my hair. That’s what she does AND that’s what separates her from the rest: she does not hesitate to learn more because it allows her to give her clients more!!!!I am staying with Hair Designs by MJ because I trust her! She is giving me all that she can: her knowledge, the best products, reasonable prices, and the care my hair deserves.

I went to MJ after a horrible experience elsewhere. My hair was destroyed with bleach and was falling apart, literally my hair felt like old gum. Ever since, Ive done EVERY service with her and I have never been disappointed. Ive done the botox hair treatment and I was super happy with my results. I even decided to continue being blonde, terrified of damaging my hair again, but MJ assured me that we would go little by little to avoid damaging my hair. I am now blonde and NOT losing my hair!! Recently I went in for the apple stem cell hair treatment and I have to say this is amazing! My hair hasnt felt this nice since my teenage years, before I started dying it. I honestly can say, I do not remember the last time I used a hot styling tool since the apple stem cell treatment... NOT EVEN A BLOW DRYER!!Thank you MJ for treating me and my hair so amazingly!
