Makers loft is an amazing salon and Shelby is one of a kind in making any and all hair dreams come true. If you want someone who really knows her stuff, Shelby is your girl. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, sweet, and really personalizes her craft to what suits you best. I’d recommend Shelby and Makers Loft to any and all who want to live their best hair lives! My hair has never looked better since I started seeing Shelby :)

My friend recommended few hair salons in Miami downtown. And i choose this beautiful Makers loft. Reason I choose they have beautiful blond hair pics and best reviews & looked like the specialist in blonds. I have really dark brown hair with some grey and I need a help asap. Shelby is the hair dresser for me and she understands my hair and me. Right away I trusted her. Rest were history. Makers loft will be my go to hair salon in Miami. Oh top it of they have the best coffee with glitters. Shelley sister Megan who is there make sure costumers are well taking care of and she offers tea coffee, water, snacks. They are good team sisters 👯‍♀️. Respect ✊. All the hair dressers in this salon are so professional and very kind. Thank you again for having me and I really happy with my hair now. Can’t wait to go back and hang out with you ladies.

Shelby is my absolute favorite!!! Her technique and experience with hair is like no other. From the moment you walk into the salon you are given the most professional treatment. Its easy to speak to her about how you want your hair to look and feel. She makes you a priority from the easy booking to the final product.

Shelby is hands down the BEST hair stylist in Miami. I have very curly hair, and it can be very difficult to trust someone with curls. I’ve had many poor experiences at other salons like I’m sure many curly girls can relate to. However, Shelby is an expert at curls! I found her five years ago, and never changed stylists. If you’re in Miami and have curly hair - go to her! She always keeps my curls in the best condition, and the most BEAUTIFUL coloring! She treats my hair with such care, and I always leave with a big smile. She is so skilled, and a master at what she does. She adds beautiful depth to my hair, and gives my curls such life! I am always complimented on my hair color, and it brings so much confidence. She makes you feel so comfortable in the chair. She’s so welcoming, kind, and an amazing listener. She’s so thoughtful with all of her clients, and is an amazing person all around. I always have a 10/10 experience. I cannot recommend her enough!

I have been looking for an exceptional hairstylist for a long time and I am beyond happy I found Shelby and her salon. Her and the whole staff are welcoming, the vibe and the energy of the place is incredible. They offer you water, even cupcakes ! Oh my. She gave me the best head massage and the best haircut I’ve gotten in a long time. Thank you kindly.

I have been seeing Shelby for years. She’s a master of her craft! Her knowledge of color is jaw dropping, this girl knows how to get you safely to what you have envisioned. She is so great at explaining the science of the chemicals she’s using and the whys this may or may not work. She always has your best interest at heart, is INCREDIBLY KIND, a gem of a person who just happens to be the best at what she does. Oh, and did I mention she’s the best at haircuts. She studies your hair before spinning anything and gives you her take on what she thinks you’re asking. They have a very chill atmosphere where everyone is welcome with open arms. I will follow Shelby to the moon!

Shelby has been my hairstylist for 8 years and counting! She is attentive to your concerns and requests, provides advice freely, and is not afraid to be honest with you to protect the integrity of your hair. She goes above and beyond to deliver gorgeous hair. She has a full range of expertise in all hair techniques: coloring, highlighting, toning, styling, cutting, all of it! Over the past 8 years she has been highlighting my naturally black hair sparingly and achieved different looks I requested, sometimes lightened my hair enough to achieve sparkly blonde highlights and other times, lightened my hair enough to layer other colors on top like ashy/silver tones and rich vibrant purples. My hair has maintained its health despite the processing. Her work has improved my hair health by helping me break the cycle of oily hair that required shampooing every day 8 years ago, now I can wash just twice a week. Her time is not cheap, but its worth every penny to have a professional who is 100% committed to her craft and who listens to her clients to create the hair of their dreams! There is ample paid street parking nearby, and the salon is always immaculately clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
