I needed a really good and thorough wash and style and I knew exactly who to call! Hadn’t been there in a while so I found the card and called to see if all was good. The owner was very helpful and made sure to schedule me asap! Q was the stylist and she was absolutely amazing. Very professional and worked fast. Very glad I was able to reconnect. Will be returning in the future!

Marai was wonderful to my girls by applying an amazing manicure to their hands and ask for me Richette killed my hair grooming. She is one of the best of the best. I called Z this morning early, and she called me right back and said of course we take walk-ins. She gave me a scheduled time and then reached back out to me and got me in her chair earlier than expected. Not only was she quick but she was very neat with her work!!! I definitely recommend anybody to come by and get (braids) styled by her. I’ll be coming back within a month or so for my next style.

I’m usually not one for reviews because I don’t like false advertisement. But when I say this girl Marai is the best nail tech I ran into so far in my life . I’m already a nailbiter so my nails never last me and I box so they always end up breaking off even if I get them short. Not one single nail has lifted or broken, and I’ve been through some things man. Don’t believe me check her out yourself ! 10/10

I have my own stylist back home and am pleased to say how happy I have been with my experience at Miami X. Due to the frail/thinning nature of my hair, I’m very particular who I can trust. I had 3 weekly appointments due to how satisfied I was each time. The stylist is exceptionally professional, seasoned and extremely knowledgeable about black hair care. This is exactly what I was looking for! I will return to Miami in the Spring and am definitely coming back to this establishment. It’s been a wonderful experience!

If you need your braids or locks done, I definitely recommend my hairstylist, Zee. She is literally the only stylist I trust to lay hands on my head, and Im someone whos very particular. She slays my braids every time while maintaining to keep my natural hair healthy and strong. Not to mention my hair length has greatly improved since I started going to her. I always leave her chair feeling confident and beautiful. She truly works wonders with hair. Taz was super nice and took her time and she had my braids flat (which no one ever does!). I had to cut her short but she was willing to let me come back and style since I didn’t have time. The price was reasonable so I’ll be back. One thing about me is I don’t really take care of my hair and I hate the lecture & judgement I get from my old place and all and Taz didn’t do all that. She did her job and did it well. I also sent my mom here once before for crochet and I can’t speak to that fully or who did it but just know my mom is a hard one to please and she had no complaints. So I’ll be back!

The first I would like to start with the only problem I had was the fact that I had to wait extra 10 minutes for my third service. And 30 for the 1st. But once the service was done they did an absolutely perfect if not Flawless job. I was relaxed and happy for the whole service. Everything I asked I got and I was 100% go back again. Side note this is my second time coming and it was great each side. I came in for wash and blow dry, wig braiding and full wig installation.

Hands down the bestttttt salon Ive been to. I have a condition where my hair is shedding and I couldnt find no stylist to help me start a new healthy hair journey. I found Miami x on Instagram a few days ago and found a stylist name Larria(I might have spelled it wrong lol) but I mean from the consultation to the app and service she is by far the best stylist Ive had . Her assistant Shaunice. Is amazing . Great communication , very kind , humble , and all around amazing . Larria is very patient , kind, humble, very knowledgeable . And def a fast worker lol. I arrived on time to the salon for my appointment, but I was informed my stylist had an emergency and wasn’t going to be able to do my hair. I was upset because I drove all the way there, but after speaking with another stylist, Dee, she said that she could take me after she finished her client in about an hour. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay because I had to go to work, but Dee said I could come back in the evening to get my hair done. So I came back and got my hair done by Dee. I got a wash, blow dry and 2 feedin braids. She did such an amazing job! Very neat and quick service. I would definitely recommend.

Wig Install November 2023I was satisfied with my appointment. My wig was installed perfectly. This is my third time coming to this shop. Walk-ins are welcomed. No complaints at all. My first experience at Miami X was amazing. Sherri the stylist that worked with me and my aunt. Throughout the entire process, Sherri was very professional and made me very comfortable. Not only did she provide great customer service But she also introduced us to the treatment and styling process. She did an amazing job with my hair and provided me with tips and suggestions when I had trouble deciding on the length of my trim. Throughout the entire process, Sherri was very attentive and made both me and my aunt feel very welcomed. The entire staff were also very friendly and polite as they answered all of the questions that had about the services that they provide. Had my hair done here about 2.5 weeks ago. Wanted to give it a couple of weeks to leave a honest review / see if the braids held up and last. I had smedium size, “extra long” braids. The price was $300 and $50 extra for “extra long” and I tipped $30. Hair was not included or an option so I went and picked it up and paid $50. A wash/ blow out was not included but added complimentary which I appreciated. I am from Chicago and needed a place fast, they let me do a walk in and accommodated me last minute. Customer service was instantly 10/10. The owner, and the woman who washed my hair (queen I believe her name was) were absolutely fantastic. The girls braiding my hair were also a pleasure however this is the longest time I’ve ever sat in a chair 5pm start 1am leave and the most I’ve ever paid for braids and I’m not 100% happy with the parts in the front, they are uneven. My braids go down to my butt which I wouldn’t consider “extra” long or worth $50 extra dollars. I usually have my braids go down to my knees and I would pay $50 extra for that. I consider myself spoiled by chicago and New York prices which are famously $200 any size any length HAIR INCLUDED which is so important, and I am in the chair for 4 hours tops. . All in all I could have flew home, had my hair done and flew back and saved a couple dollars. However the customer service here makes up for that. I look forward to coming back and trying a different style. I watched Queen do 2 heads in the same amount of time I sat for my head so I will give her a try next time. Thank you Miami X!

I went in for a silk press, my first time trying one and lets just say it wont be the last. My hairstylist Larria was amazing. Not only is she an amazing hair stylist, she also has an amazing personality. I come to this place probably every 2 weeks and I only go there for one person Dominique, she does lace fronts and etc Dominique was actually the first person that I went to, to do my lace front and ever since that time I fell in love with lace front I always thought it was not gonna go with me but she made me like it she hooked me up with the baby hair in the front, she had me looking brand new again man I was good to go and every time I make an appointment with her she’s always on time she never keeps me waiting. And even if I am running late she’s very understandable And that’s one of the things I like about her she doesn’t take a long time doing my hair it’s in and out and I like that she doesn’t take no more then 1hr and 30 minutes or probably less the time goes by real fast. She makes you feel real comfortable she knows how to spark a conversation even if it’s your first time you will feel like you been going there forever that’s how she makes you feel. She is very fast and she knows her work and I am glad that I started going to her. Even if she’s booked she still makes that effort to squeeze you in. So kiddos to you Dominique you are the best you have no idea. I really don’t like to write any reviews but I feel that everyone needs to know that we still have some good people out there that takes there job serious and will do anything to make there customers happy and feel welcome and comfortable!
