    I got Japanese hair straightening done at Nero Hair Salon a few months ago, and I absolutely love the results! I also come here for conditioning treatments, and every time, my hair feels incredibly soft and healthy. Joseph takes his time with each client and really cares about the outcome. He is very knowledgeable and really takes his time with each and every client. Joseph and Jennifer are so genuine and always make me feel welcomed.     The best hair salon I’ve been to in Miami! Joseph was so knowledgeable and passionate about my hair I have never felt more comfortable putting my hair in someone’s hands. I did the Japanese straightening and he told me what he was doing each step of the way and broke it down to the science.     Nero and his team are absolutely fabulous. What I love most though is their honesty. If they were greedy they would do a japanese treatment foe everyone that asks for one, but he actually cares about his clients and your hair. Definitely sticking to him.     From the moment I entered the salon and Joseph welcomed me, I felt I found the perfect place for my Japanese Hair straightening. His years of experience is what brought me in, but what blew me away during the consult was the time he invested in explaining the process but most of all his focus on improving my hair and how to accomplish that. I booked an appointment right then and there. I have to say my hair looks so amazing and feels so soft, I am super happy and he left me with instructions to increase the health of my hair moving forward.     I had a wonderful experience at Nero Hair Salon. Joseph and his assistant Tiano were very thorough and professional. I ended not being a candidate for the Japanese hair straightening, and Joseph recommended a Brazilian blowout. They did my root color, the Brazilian blowout, a deep repair treatment and a cut. My hair looks amazing. I also loved how they took care of me during the visit. The cost was higher than I anticipated, but I will definitely go back. Thanks!

    Im so happy I just found Nero & Lopez Hair Salon, theyre such all professionals. Very meticulous, perfectionists and friendly from the moment you arrive to the Salon. I did the Japanese Hair Straightening more than 10 years ago in my country, but since I moved to Miami two years ago, Ive had nothing but bad experiences. I went two times to do my hair in two different Salons, Ive spent a lot of money and time, but nothing compared to my disillusion of getting bad results (nothing at least from what I expected). I have seen Nero & Lopez Hair Salon website while searching for Japanese Straightening treatment in Miami, FL, but I never stopped to read the reviews -because I thought that driving 45 min to an hour wasnt worth it-, so this time I started reading the reviews and saw that all of them highly recommend the Salon for their good experiences and excellent results, I decided to book an appointment. When I finally went to the Salon, Joseph started doing many test to see how healthy is my hair was (as I had the same Japanese Straightening treatment in a short period of time), then he figured out a way of treating my hair without damage. He applied the product very carefully and measured the right amount for the different sections of my hair. He was always checking up on me to make sure that my hair was OK. Joseph has patience and precision because my hair is so long, he washed and dried my hair. I can tell Joseph loves what he does. Roxana was very friendly and careful while helping Joseph, very professional. Alain was also helping and sharing with us, I had the opportunity to see how he cut a clients hair and it was just amazing to me and my mom. For sure Im coming back soon, I just scheduled an appointment for dying my hair. I just cant wait to see the results, I know Im going to be as happy as with the ,Japanese Hair Straightening I finally have what I want and what I need, for sure Joseph did an extraordinary job on my hair, I highly recommend him and everybody there.

    I have done the Japanese relaxer treatment elsewhere many times before. This was definitely the best experience I have had. I’m definitely staying at this Salon. Not only I had great results, but the time I spent there was very pleasant. Joseph is very professional. I loved that he concentrated on my hair and only that during the time I was there (about 4 hours for my long hair). This is in sharp contrast to places that try to do multiple people at once and you worry they will fry your hair. The result is healthy looking, no-frizz, straight hair that I can wash everyday (because I do). I couldn’t do that when I tried Keratin treatments. The hair looks the same now wash after wash. There is also no unpleasant smell when the hair is being done. Finally, and I think most importantly when dealing with a hair salon, Joseph is excellent at setting up expectations so you know exactly what service you are getting and the results you will have. Highly recommend this place! Well deserved 5 stars!!!Update: went again today, as always, a great experience! Thank you Joseph!

    I was so impressed by Joseph and his team. I went in for a Japanese hair straightening treatment consultation and Joseph explained the process step by step, tested my hair, and quoted me a price. I was scheduled for the treatment a few days later and the salon runs like a well oiled machine! Joseph doesn’t miss a beat and each of his coworkers were in sync with his progress. Not a single minute wasted when I was there. I felt so comfortable and they answered all my questions. The place was very nice too. Joseph definitely knows what he’s doing!     I came back for my Japanese hair straightening treatment and all I can say is every time I come to Joseph’s salon I feel so pampered and happy to be there. They truly take care of you from the moment you walk in. They always offer a warm friendly welcome, refreshments and snacks and my favorite, a warm towels around your neck. You truly feel like you’re at a spa getting the highest quality of service. He’s very knowledgeable about hair and he will be honest with you about the condition of your hair as well as what to expect during and after the service to maintain your hair.     The appointment went really well, even though it ended up being more of a consultation because I didnt have the money on me for the treatment I wanted (Keratin). I will most definitely be coming back! Great customer service! They were willing to lower the price so I could do the treatment right then and there but I preferred to reschedule the appointment. That is the type of customer service you would like. They are very nice and professional people. I ended up getting a shampoo that he recommended because he was just great at his job.

    I had my first ever Japanese hair strengthening treatment at Nero Lopez recently. Being a permanent type of treatment I searched for a long time for a good and proficient stylist. Joseph was excellent, he took great care of my hair, was super attentive, and made sure I left happy with the treatment. A few days after the treatment I can say that my hair is super smooth, pin-straight right after the shower and very shiny. I will definitely be back!

Petrified to trust anyone other than “my guy” for the last 20 years in NY, I bit the bullet.So glad I did!At my request, Joseph contacted my former stylist to get a background on my hair before I even stepped into the salon.     Honestly one of the best experiences Ive had with any sort of stylist in my life. Even with this first visit just being a consultation, Joseph obviously cares so much about not only the quality of his work, but whats important for his clients, including safety during the pandemic for everyone involved! He was nothing but positive, friendly, and thorough. He explained everything in detail about how everything would go down, why he recommended what he did, and gave me no-pressure alternatives. At no point did I feel like he was trying to give me the runaround, and even with his shop being the place to get straightening done, he quoted me for only barely more than other places that certainly didnt seem as experienced in it.I booked my appointment as quickly as I could, and will update this review after my straightening and probably a few months down the line to show how things have gone!     I would describe my hair as color treated and fine with good quantity. Even though the hair is fine I have a lot of it. I would only let Joseph do any type of straightening on my hair. It has never been damaged, only better when I leave. I have been going to him for years, always happy. It is not curly but it gets frizzy in this Miami heat. I like to do the straightener to save time with the blow dryer!

    Joseph Nero performed the absolute BEST japanese straightening service on my hair that money can buy. After 15 years of doing this, I thought I had seen it all. I was wrong!     The BEST SALON in Miami, hands down. I recently received a Japanese straightening treatment here and I am blown away. I have naturally curly, thick, unruly, coarse hair that would take me 30 minutes to 1 hour to blow dry. Now, I can blow dry my hair pin straight in 5 minutes or let it air dry for a beautifully natural straight look. I have virgin hair so I was initially apprehensive about getting the treatment done, but my hair looks and feels so healthy still. I am a customer for life!!! Joseph, the owner who did my hair, is so amazing and kind; he will answer any and every question you may have.

    This spot is a hidden GEM! I went to get a keratin treatment 2 weeks ago and I have to say the service and staff was exceptional. They spent a lot of time explaining how the treatment worked, and what I should expect. It is rare that a salon actually will go into the details about how and why the treatment they are choosing is the right one for your hair type, at Nero Lopez Hair the customer service was great! I will definitely be going back for my cut and color next time!

    Joseph is wonderful. He set up an appointment to review what my hair would or would not tolerate and then set up an appointment to do what was best. He did both the Japenese Hair Streighter as well as Keratin treatment in places where my hair was to week to tolerate the original procedure. He is a perfectionist and very patient. A few things really stood out for me, the first being the friendly atmosphere of the space - all the staff worked together and all took turns attending and talking to me. I also appreciated the time that Kelly took to get to know me at the commencement of the appointment, the survey is a really nice touch and I could see how useful it is to understand me and what I wanted from the service.     I have curly frizzy hair and nothing gave me that straight sleek look. This is why I went in search of a studio that would do the Japanese hair straightening treatment.     Amazing ! I have gone to this salon for a consultation regarding the japanese treatment as first. Joseph analyzed my hair and after consideration he advised that keratin treatment was the best solution as for now since my hair was a bit damaged. My hair used to get puffy and very wild and it has always been a problem for me. I followed his advice and came back for the keratin treatment. I have no word to express how amazed I am! I have washed my hair after 4 days as I wanted the product to really stay in my hair, and oh my god ! My hair is not puffy anymore but look thin i did not iron my hair just air dry and the result was spectacular.     First things first - JOSEPH IS GREAT! I got the Liscio done in November of 2015 & he was so accomdation & patient. He walked me through the whole process & answered all of my questions. He also was extremely affordable & was very direct and upfront with his pricing. The salon is quite cute, its a nice intimate atmosphere & you really do feel like youre being pampered. He even makes great tea! I am planning to go back soon to touch up my roots with the liscio. GREAT treatment if you have super curly/frizzy hair & wear it straight all the time like me. My hair was so damaged from heat styling that it was literally breaking off and getting so much shorter that people thought I was getting haircuts every 2 weeks. After having this treatment done, my hair has honestly never been healthier-I get complements all the time on how healthy & pretty it looks, its so much more manageable and easy to style, and when I first had it done my hair was just wash & go (now that the roots are growing in I have to touch them up with the flat iron just a bit.) I really would not trust anyone else with my hair after hearing all the horror stories of other salons. Joseph is great & he really knows what hes doing. 15/10 would HIGHLY recommend!!!! (:

    Had a good experience at the hair salon. I had a Keratin treatment done. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Alain did my treatment. Shampoo rinsing was amazing--very gentle and the head massage was soothing. My only concern was that the Keratin product used was super strong and caused my eyes to burn and get watery during the process. After leaving the salon, I had an uncomfortable headache for the rest of the night and started to develop a runny nose. As soon as I woke up, I had to immediately rinse the product out of my hair. As soon as I did that, I started to feel better. My hair is nice and manageable now though! I go to the gym and with all the sweating, I dont see a lions mane anymore. :)

    I visited the salon last week for the first time. Joseph, a co-owner, patiently and directly answered my questions regarding how I liked my hair cut and my concern with dry hair. He asked several questions to guide him in shaping the cut. As to the dryness, he listened quietly and then gave me suggestions as to possible causes and helpful products.     I came to Kelly after a few years of dying my hair at home. I went in to transform my very damaged locks into a pixie cut and from the moment I called, they made sure to find the right stylist for me...Hadassa!     They made my dream come trueWith the way I always wanted my hair to be straight and beautiful theres more to this story that is to unbelievable but trueI was in fact the ugly duckling, so ugly that people would trow things at me, call me names, even the police tried to arrest me for being ugly, but no luck no such charge, they would tell me to go and hide because people complaining about how ugly I looked, so walking by one day I see this sign, Japanese hair straightening and I immediately went inside and told them my story and pleaded for help, they said no problem were here to help, so I made an appointment and the results were amazing, these people will turn a ugly frog into a beautiful Prince if you saw the pictures of before and after you would be amazed, and thats my true story
