Chris is amazing!!! I have tried for 20 yrs to get a simple cut. I have had one bad haircut after another until I sat in Chris’ chair. He not only gave me the right cut but he did a beautiful job with the color as well. I live in Minnesota but will find my way back to Miramar Beach just to have him do my hair!!! Plus he’s just an awesome human.

Wonderful hairstylist! I always leave Chris’s salon with healthy and beautiful hair. Would highly recommend him to others. Plus doesn’t hurt that he is handsome little devil.

I had a really poor, disheartening experience the last time I saw a hairdresser (NOT Chris)a few months ago. I’m not sure if I wasn’t in the age bracket she wanted as a customer or our vibes just weren’t meshing, but I left feeling unheard, unseen, and unappreciated.Today, though, from the moment I walked in and met Chris for the first time, I felt welcomed and loved. No judgement. No side eye. Chris took a good look at what he was working with, gave me a good wash and started to work. He was conscientious and thoughtful at his work, and I left feeling cared for and like my hair was at its best.The salon is full of individual rooms which makes the experience a personal, quiet one, too.An additional plus is Chris’s accessibility. I dropped him a text to schedule and had an appointment within a week!

Chris definitely chose the right profession! He is amazing at what he does, and he will have your hair looking the best that it ever has within one visit. He is very easy to communicate with and set up appointments. Always answers calls or texts within a few minutes, and he always has a smile on his face whether you go in for a morning or late afternoon appointment. Definitely recommend Chris and Salon Ru to anyone in the Birmingham area!

Chris has colored, cut, and does my highlights for over 3 years now. I highly recommend Chris. He always makes you laugh. He doesnt let you do anything to crazy. He is like a hair scientist.
