    I have to say, I have never been so obsessed with my hair. And it is all thanks to Taylor Wade Beauty! I like this salon a lot, but to be honest, now that I have Taylor doing my extensions I’ll follow her anywhere.I went to Taylor after a severe botch job from a salon in port orange. She was transparent with me on my hair goals and gave me realistic options. Pixie cut/short bob or extensions. So when visiting the extension queen and master, you have to go all out. And I am obsessed. For working with the world’s worst canvas, Taylor gave me the mermaid vibes I have wanted with a full head of beautiful 24inch extensions. She taught me how to care for them, style them, and protect my investment. They are so comfortable and at my last move up she left me feeling confident that my hair is growing and healing underneath! I highly recommend and respect her artistry.

    Ive had my hair done several times at canvas with 3 different stylist (mostly Lexi the owner). Each one did my my hair exactly like I wanted! I appreciate the consistency and care they took with my hair. I always walk out feeling like a rockstar. As a brunette, I feel like my hair can be difficult to achieve the desired outcome and hannah did my hair exactly like I wanted. I freaking love my hair!

    I absolutely LOVE my hair after seeing Lexi! Before, my hair was thin and fine and my self esteem was at an all time low. I finally, after years of thinking about it, decided to get extensions! Lexi has been so amazing with educating me and bringing my hair to life! I seriously can’t believe I waited so long to do this! I am so happy! Lexi was so willing to adjust the color a bit, cut and style to my liking and I could not be happier!! My hair looks so natural and beautiful! ❤️ Seriously, she is incredible!

    Lexie is my stylist. Her and the staff provide a clean, easy going environment! I have never trusted a stylist so much. I tell her to do whatever she wants to my hair and it always turns out perfect. She knows what tones go well with my skin and eyes. Everyone there is so nice! Don’t second guess going to Canvas!! Book early so you can get in.

    Lexi is truly a master of her craft! Always creates the dreamiest beach blonde and somehow maintains the healthiest hair! Came to her with salty damaged post partum truly unruly hair and she works magic every time. The rest of the girl gang are wonderful too— amazing vibe, the best products, all the shop-dog pets, delicious lattes, online flexible booking, people watching on Flagler, I really don’t know what else you could ask for! ✨

    Just came from the salon and my hair feels fantastic. This salon has such a nice relaxed atmosphere. I never felt like I was in an interview or fielding invasive questions. Conversation was just relaxed and easy. And thats SO important! Lexi considered the quality of my hair in my haircut and did a great job. She didnt rush and she knows what shes doing . The new employee, I think Alyssa (?), who washed my hair is great at her job too. I should have brought cash to tip her but I didnt expect a separate person to wash my hair. Ill make up for it next time! Im definitely coming back and will recommend this salon to anyone

    I immediately booked an appointment with Lexi when I read that the salon uses a lox tox + eco-friendly hair care line. Not only is the salon the cutest and most welcoming, but Lexi did a great job listening to my needs and recommending a plan forward. Absolutely my go to salon in NSB now!

    Whenever I visit New Smyrna Beach, I stop by Canvas to get my hair done. I completely trust Lexi with my haircuts and I love that she doesn’t push services. Alyssa, the assistant who washed and dried my hair the last time was awesome too! The entire vibe of the salon is great - I highly recommend even if it’s for a quick blow dry.

    I found the Canvas Hair Design Studio salon a year ago. The well-made website drew me. I liked how it shows the stylists social media profiles with their work. So I can actually see their portfolio. Since Lexi was an owner I chose to trust her with my hair. She fixed my color from the previous stylist, and I have been Lexis customer ever since. She is professional and knows what she is doing. I appreciate her knowledge and knowing that she and other stylists keep up with the trends.

    I moved here in July and needed to find a new salon STAT and I had looked at several online, finally deciding that Canvas was the salon that appealed the most to me. I happened to meet Alexis on the same day that I was going to call the salon and that just reinforced the decision to go there. My hair has never looked better! Alexis is a true artist and turned my basic brown hair to a sun kissed brunette.I must mention that the whole staff works as a team and it’s a pleasure spending a couple of hours there.

    When my hair stylist of 15 years retired I tried several diff salons only to have my color never look good. I finally found Lexi at Canvas who did an amazing job with the color, highlights and cut! Love how friendly everyone is how talented. !

    I was my family visiting over the holidays and needed to get my extensions fixed. Lexidid a great job and I loved the place. I really enjoyed the experience and relaxing atmosphere. I would highlyrecommend it. We all know how hard it is to find a salon that knows what to do. The salon is amazing!

    I always get the balayage blonding service and I have been coming back for years because I am always so impressed! It’s very low maintenance for blonde hair because they blend it so nicely into my natural color that it looks seamless when it grows out. I usually go to Hannah, but if I can’t book with Hannah I’m not worried because everyone does such an amazing job, I can’t recommend Canvas enough!

    Incredible salon! Whatever your hair goals are, you can trust these girls to take excellent care of you. I’ve seen women of all ages in there and every lady leaving is happy with their hair. Friendly, warm staff that make you feel very welcome. The salon itself is very clean and organized, they do a great job of taking extra good care of their workplace. Kathleen is my stylist, she does a great job and takes her time to make sure her clients are happy! Kathleen does an amazing job of listening to what I have in mind and talking me through the process of what she’s going to mix and use to get me there. I also have asked her to pick a color / tone that compliments my look without giving her anything too specific because she can pick something perfect for me. I would use any stylist here, they all do great work that is above and beyond anywhere else. The prices here are more than great - you get such a good price for the work these girls do for you. I love everything about this salon. I have tried a couple other salons in the area and needed somewhere that was a better fit. I had Canvas recommended to me and I can’t imagine where I’d be if I had not tried this one out. I love the atmosphere, the stylists, their work, and their products. Book with this local business and you will be a regular client.

    I have been using Canvas for several years now and have always had a great experience! The salon is clean and modern, scheduling is easy to do online, and the results are always top notch.     Lexi has been coloring my hair since 2017 and I am so in love with my hair! She is such a talented coloring artist! I continue to get compliments on my hair 5-6 weeks after it has been colored. She is so professional and I have never been disappointed. Check out her new space where the lighting is perfection for seeing what your hair will look like indoors & outside. Also everyone I send to her falls in love with her & their new hair. Call her you will not be disappointed.

    What a fantastic experience I had at Canvas Salon!! My boyfriend and I were having lunch, across the street from Canvas, and he said to me, “You should try the salon across the street, every women that has walked out of that salon has beautiful hair!” … Hello, are you trying to tell me something?? 😊 Anyway, I took his advice (he’s very smart!!!) and walked into the salon and spoke directly to the owner, Lexi! OMG, Lexi was great, down to earth, gave me a consultation to explain what she could do (I needed my extensions re-installed and my hair highlighted) and took me right on the spot as she had a cancellation. Lexi did a great job on my highlights/cut and then Kat, extension wiz kid, re-installed my extensions. Wow, what a difference! The staff at Canvas are experienced, well trained professionals who listen to your needs! Located right on Flagler Ave in NSB!!

    Sara is incredible! I always change my mind between light and dark and she’s there for it! Since I started going to her for my hair, my hair has gotten so long! People think I have extensions. She restored my fried hair to health. She is absolutely incredible and does the best braids. She did a cute braid in my hair for an event and I got so many compliments. I highly recommend her. She’s so sweet and will always listen to what I ask but also be completely honest on how long it will take to get me to the color I want and if it’s realistic. Highly recommend her if you are looking for a new stylist!

    I had a wonderful experience. Sara and the other girls really know their stuff! They are amazing with hair color and take their time getting you to your hair goals. I came into the salon with a bad hair dye job and Sara completely fixed it and improved the health of my overall hair. Highly recommend.

    I can’t say enough about my appointment this evening with Savvy! It was my first hair cut since having my youngest baby and it was much-needed. I felt terrible being the last appointment of the day and being late after getting stuck at the drawbridge, then my baby cried almost the entire time. Savvy was so incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating, and absolutely nailed the cut I didn’t even know I wanted. I just knew I wanted something to help make my thin postpartum hair look as healthy and full as possible, while also being low maintenance. 100% recommend!

    Sara is an actual SAINT! I have been trying for two years to fix color without severally damaging my hair and had given up until I met with Sara. She not only had me walking out of the door with my hair feeling way more healthy, but she performed some kind of miracle and took my dead orange hair and turned it into a beautiful natural blonde. She was so sweet the entire time and really took the time to listen to what I wanted. I cannot recommend her enough!
