    I had been on the hunt for a good hair stylist for quite some time now as I’m not from the area, when Nautica reached out to me for her services and let me tell you, she did not disappoint!She fixed an uneven cut that I had, while still leaving my length. She gave me the most beautiful layers, and styled it to perfection. I love love loveeeee my hair! Will be back, 10/10 recommend! :)

    I have not been to a salon since 2020 and have been totally nervous about it since I’ve been cutting my own hair now forever. When you walk in Keary greets you looking fabulous and happy to see you!! Love everything about the salon aesthetic. I explained to her I was nervous and she asked all the right questions to nail down the right cut and style. Could have cried when I saw how good my bangs came out! Definitely make an appt with Keary! I’m in love with my hair and pass the scissors willingly to her from now on.

    I needed to find a NSB stylist since I spend at least 6 months a year here. I am very picky about who cuts my hair but when I find a winner I stick with them. Megan did a great cut and listened to my declaration that my hair is “wash and run”. I don’t use product, a comb, or a blow dryer. I just run my fingers through my hair and go… so a good cut is essential. I am thrilled to have found Waves and Megan. 💙

    Linda has been cutting my hair for about a year and I can honestly say she’s the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. I have curly hair that is straight on top and have always been frustrated by getting the right cut that was easy to style and let my curls do their thing. Linda is so easy to work with and understood how to shape my hair so that it maximized my curl and looked so cute. Linda is a mature stylist with many years of experience, I highly recommend her! I’m sadly moving and will greatly miss her touch. Linda is wonderful!

    Megan and her team are absolutely phenomenal! They did hair and makeup for me, my family, and 6 of my bridesmaids for my wedding last week. Not only did they do a beautiful job, but they catered to every single girl and the style they wanted. They have the cutest salon dog, Pearl, and the energy in the salon is so upbeat! This is my third time coming to salon and they now have a customer for life. Whether it’s a haircut, color, wax, or wedding party these girls got you covered. The best in the business in new Smyrna beach area. Thank you, Megan and team. You made me feel like such a princess on my wedding day.

    I have been a customer of Waves for many years. My stylist ( Trish ) has been styling my hair for 24 years. She is simply fantastic. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Everyone there makes you feel like you are part of the family. Always on time & very professional. ✂️💇‍♂️✂️

    Keary was my stylist. She was extremely kind and knowledgeable. She even squeezed me in last minute. My hair is perfect and exactly what I wanted. Everyone there was extremely nice and personable. I have really long hair. I was expecting to pay more than I actually did. Prices were very fair. I will be coming here from now on for all my hair care needs. Id give them 10 stars if I could! ❤️

    Not sure why color isn’t an option but Linda did an amazing job with my color! She had to fix some other issues I had going on and my hair is now the beautiful, brilliant fall red violet I was going for and my highlights are perfect! The salon is very clean and everyone made me feel very comfortable! I think sube found a new home for my hair!

    I went into this salon for the first time this week. Megan, the owner greeted me, she was very stylish, had beautiful hair and makeup and was extremely professional. Alexis colored my hair and I couldnt be happier with the results. I had a great overall experience at this salon and I recommend it to anyone looking for beautiful, quality work as well as very reasonable prices.

    Im so Happy with the service I received From Elizabeth today. Had a very bad experience 2 days ago with another salon in Ormond Beach, I called Waves Hair design and they got me right in and fixed me right up. Very fun atmosphere, every stylist was very friendly to me and the new owner was super nice and the place is so beautiful inside. I would definitely be coming back here and I would also recommend anyone whose not so happy with there so so salon, call Waves Hair in New Smyrna and I think you will not regret it. P.S. I did not get paid for this review.Thanks Ladies. See you all soon.

    Ive never felt more comfortable with a salon.Linda is AMAZING!!!! I went in with very very short hair and walked out with hair post the middle of my back! Its like I got my life back bc of her. The color is fantastic, she really knows how to pop it! Ive not had a stylist this excellent ever.Quy is also INCREDIBLE!!Ive never had my nails look at elegant and fancy. Everyone comments on them!! I love the atmosphere too. They really look out for you there to make sure you are taken care of. Thank you Linda and Quy 🦋

    Trish does a super job with my hair and I enjoy our conversations during the appointment. She is the best in New Smyrna and I have tried several over time. Kelly, at the desk, is warm, friendly and very professional. I will never go anyplace else.

    I had stopped several places first..the people rubbed me wrong..and with limited time on upbeat health..my bff Mary took me...they Were fabulous! From entry to exit, Ill not go elsewhere! Prices reasonable! But the love of making you feel prominent..was over the top for ME! I highly recommend them! ALL day long and twice on sunday!!!!!! Dawn made me feel like a million bucks! Ty!     I live in central New York and have many friends in the new Smyrna beach / Edgewater area of Florida where I frequent…on my last trip there I decided to get my haircut and was recommended to Waves salon…not only was the salon very stylish and comfortable but Linda Nessmiller , stylist , gave me this amazing new style which I absolutely love …I needed a change and she did an awesome job….very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable…..will definitely be back on my next visit to the area….thank you Linda!
