    I went to Hair Cuttery in Newberry for the first time. I was originally apprehensive about going there. I booked an appointment online with Michele. What made me decide to book with her was being able to reading what this stylist could do and it said Michelle could do a highlights and cuts. I went in with an open mind and so appreciative for giving me such a wonderful experience. I got a balayage or full highlights and Michelle said she had never done a balayage before. I have been to a high end salon to get this same thing done and had to pay more and didn’t get the color result I got from coming here. Also, they sell all sorts of shampoos and conditioners. I got the Cibu shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair. All of the products that were used on me smelled so good. I put my trust in Michelle with making all the decisions on how to accomplish the results that I wanted from the pictures I had showed.

    Mitzi worked on my hair. She did a perfect job. The cut was exactly what I was looking for. The color is beautiful and the highlights are spot on. I absolutely love it. She is the best! Michelle worked on my daughters hair. She had to even up her hair from an at home hair cut she gave herself. They both did an awesome job! We both absolutely love our hair. I recommend both of them.

    Serena was amazing! She cut my hair and did amazing job and she was extremely friendly with great smile and personality which was great for a haircut after long day at work. My next haircut will definitely be with Serena!

    Bre was amazing. Turned my roots to a beautiful blond. I wouldn’t go to anyone else in the world. I Love Bre and her work. Finally found my new hairstylist! Before and after photos. I really recommend her to all blonds and her timing was amazing. I was out in 2 hours.

    Ms.Kelley is so awesome! I got a same day appointment, which I feel so lucky about! I have long thick curly hair and she blew my hair out perfectly! She took her time and was so sweet:) I’ve found my new hair dresser! Go see her asap!

    Kelley at the Jonesville Hair Cuttery, was confident, efficient and did a wonderful job on my haircut (showed her a pic) and tea tree treatment. Will be back to see her 😀Update: sadly, she has left this business, but Michelle did a great job, too.

    Went in to get a Wolf cut with Sandra and she went above and beyond! My hair is always up due to work and she talked me through the options to make the cut work for me. While it was not a true Wolf cut, as she said, it was close to the look I wanted! Thank you Sandra for pointing out areas that I never thought about! I will be returning to her soon to get my maintenance trim!

    Bree has been doing my hair at this location and she is wonderful at what she does. She also gives 100% in listening to what the person wants to have done and makes every attempt at meeting the customers desired hair outcome. I dont plan on going anywhere else. She is the best !

    Need a cut? Look for Kelly!This morning I decided it was time to change my haircut. I found some example photos and went out for a walk-in. Kelly immediately greeted me with a bright smile, took the time to know everything I was looking for, and gave me the perfect haircut. The whole process was only 10-15 minutes, and I came out looking better than ever. I wholeheartedly recommend this business for anyone.

    Best place in Gainesville to get a blow dry. Kelley takes her time with every client and makes sure your hair last as long as possible. As someone that hates to wash their own hair, the pricing is affordable and worth every penny.10/10 recommend upgrading to the Cibu treatment. It leaves your hair so soft and looking so healthy.Could not recommend this salon and Kelley more!

    Jessica was fabulous! Made my appt online, arrived about 10 min early, greeted warmly! It was busy but not crazy...Jessica was finishing up with another client. Then it was my turn. I had booked cut, color, foils because I wasnt sure what could be done nor what colors would look best. Jessica took lots of time going over colors and skin tone and making sure that I was on board with the plan before she started. Then the cut...brought a sample pic and said that I wanted to work towards that style...she made it happen! We had a nice time chatting the whole time...shop was busy with lots of little boys getting haifcuts..everyone was great with them..Jessica blew out the cut and I loved it! Will be back to see Jess for all my hair needs...its so hard to find someone that you can trust and that gets you....I had my last stylist for 11 years before relocating up here. Thanks so much Jessica!! Youve just gained another permanent client!!

    I had such a wonderful experience with Jess. I was going on a trip in a few days so she squeezed me into her schedule so my hair would be fresh for my vacation. I was very grateful. The color, the highlights, the conditioning treatment, trim, and styling was no small job - especially considering my very, VERY long hair! It all turned out exactly how I wanted it. Jess was the ultimate professional while also being super friendly and fun! The time seemed to fly by. I would recommend anyone to Jess at the Hair Cuttery.

    Jess is the best hair stylist ever. My hair looks healthy, shiny and untouched by chemicals. She is so good at what she does and while she does magic on your hair you feel like you are talking to your best friend. It feels just like home.     Marianne does a stellar job. Great work with hair. Honestly saved my hair. Is the sweetest employee and cares about her clients. She will have me in her appointment book for life.     I saw Rachel today to fix another stylist mess up. She was awesome!! Really sweet, knew her trade well, and knowledgeable on products. Also cost is so reasonable. I couldn’t find anything for a shampoo and cut under $50 (the “bad” cut cost me about $85). This really good cut/shampoo was $18!!! I am so happy with my experience and my hair looks and feels so healthy now. I will be returning as a customer from here on out. The salon had a pleasant, calm atmosphere. Every stylist was very professional and personable. Highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed.

    Got my hair cut into a faded pixie style and this is the Hair Cuttery that got it exactly the way I wanted it! My daughter also got hers cut really short for the very first time and shes extremely happy with the way it came out. These girls are lovely and definitely know what theyre doing!Well definitely be seeing you two again!     Love this salon. Never waited more than 10 minutes for service. Edit: I visited this salon yesterday and was booked with a new stylist, Karey. He was amazing. Talked me through the whole cut. The blowout was amazing, my hair looked wonderful so good that when I got home my family said they could see my hair bouncing as I was running across the yard in the rain. Karey is new to the area and did a wonderful job. Ive havent had a cut and style this good since I moved here from Orlando. Go ask for him you wont regret it.

    How strange life is some time. Today my hair salon cancelled on me. No matter. I was coming out of Publix getting ready to load my groceries in front of hair cutlery. A nice young lady came out and offered to help as do I am handicapped. She seems so nice and after getting my salon canceled on me I asked her if she was busy to do my hair. No problem. Walked inside and and came to get one of the best salon stylist and dye and haircut Ive ever received. Hired her on the spot to always do my hair now. So whether it be fate or anything else. I got really lucky today finding this place. Highly recommend

    If I say my experience was bad I can keep this wonderful salon all to myself. I can’t do that so I am raising the roof on how over the moon I am about my recent appointment with “Jess” Jessica Kohlhoffer. We met in a conversation on the Nextdoor App as I was lamenting my recent move to the Gainesville area and not knowing anyone here and in desperate need of a Keratin treatment from someone who knows what they are doing. I have had good and bad experiences in the past at salons around the country and it can be hit or miss. Jess was warm and personable and I decided to give her and the Hair Cuttery at Steeplechase a try. Suffice it to say she was wonderful and knowledgeable and in fact on that day, one of several wonderful stylists there offering great service and skills to men and women alike. This is my new home base and I am in awesome hands here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GIVE @JessicaKohlhofer and the stylists at @TheHairCutteryofSteeplechase a chance to impress you with RESULTS that are above and beyond. I will be back for sure !     I was so impressed with this new location and the staff was so nice! Samantha was my stylist and she was amazing. I showed her a couple of pictures of the color I was going for and she was able to achieve it perfectly. I love the way she cut and layered my hair as well. Do yourself a favor and go see her! 😉

    Love Monica she’s the best!!! I’ve been going to her for many years. All I have to do is walk in and sit down. She knows exactly what to do for my hair. She knows what color I want.     Michael was my hairdresser! He is so gentle and he always wants to make sure I’m happy when I leave. The whole crew there is absolutely fabulous! It took a few times on my hair but they were patient with me. Sandra makes the best coffee! I absolutely love these people! I will be going back! It’s worth driving the hour and 15 min drive!
