Oscar is hands down the very BEST person that has ever done my hair, in my entire life (Im over 40 years old)!!!! He asks so many questions to make sure that you and him are both on the same exact page with what you are requesting! He amazes me time after time when he does my hair!! He is an absolute genius when it comes to color/ highlights/ low lights!! He always asks me where do I part my hair at and I show him. Any great stylist that is doing high lights / low lights does them according to where you normally part your hair when you style it. It is your responsibility to let any stylist know that you want it done differently, compared to where you normally would part your hair. Word of advice for these couple of complainers, dont get your hair done if you really cant afford what you actually want done to it in the first place okay. Also, always have a pic of exactly what you want done! Even if you need multiple pictures (one for the cut/style and one for the color/high lights / low lights, etc.) It is just common sense!! Oscar is never in a hurry, he is so talented, friendly and informative and he is constantly going to seminars and going to workshops to be up to date with all of the new techniques and etc., he goes all around the country to attend them. I have never enjoyed getting my hair done as much as I do with Oscar! He is a blast to talk to!! You never need a magazine or even need to be busy on your phone while hes doing your hair!!! Not to mention he has some really great recommendations for restaurants!! I am so thankful to have Oscar as my stylist!!!

Hey ladies and gents! Do you want a stylist that LISTENS and MEETS your needs and EXCEEDS your expectations!? If you do, go see Oscar! I have had to change stylist several times throughout the years and have requested the same color and style as I did of Oscar and 9 times out 10 they fell short. Im new to Ocala and all that I had for a referral was Google. Oscar is transparent on price, takes a great deal of time on your hair, is very precise, pays attention to detail, gives the best hair wash that Ive ever had, is friendly and funny...can I say any more to convince you!? My cut and color is perfect, layers, bangs and all! I wish I took pics before and after, as well as before I left the salon. But this is from today after walking in the wind. GO SEE OSCAR!

I went Oscar for a specific haircut and he worked some magic! It’s a haircut I’ve wanted for years and no one could quite get it right, but he did! He’s also very kind and keeps checking in to ensure you’re comfortable, answer any questions you may have, and just ensure you’re enjoying the experience. The shampoo, haircut, blow dry, and style was $60, a very reasonable price. He also gave me a free styling product as I was leaving, which will help keep my curls looking great. He doesn’t just cut your hair, he provides a great experience. I left feeling happy and loving my hair! I highly recommend you try him!

One of my challenges when moving is to find a talented hair stylist. Bingo! First stylist, Oscar!! He worked wonders with my hair. I am growing out highlights and lowlights to let my natural white come in. The most uncomfortable aspect of letting your natural hair grow in after years of color is the inevitable horizontal line. Oscar knew just how to handle that and WOW! did he do a great job! He has the ability to see the end product. I still have a little lite blonde with a little darker highlight but in the right places and no horizontal lines. Very talented, very caring, wants to know exactly what you would like, and he hears you, resulting in a BEAUTIFUL YOU! Oscar, you will see me again! Ladies try him, I dont think you will be disappointed.

Oscar did amazing I literally went for the first time and I have textured hair, he legit took his time to make my hair the way I wanted it and listened to me the whole way throughout the process and he was honest and stuck with the price he quoted me, he is very professional and made me and my bf feel welcome and appreciated as clients!!! 10/10 definitely recommend going to him if you have textured hair like me!!!

Had the most amazing experience with this hair God! So pleased with all services an experience all around. Oscar was professional, informative an transformed my hair in a matter of a few hours. I got exactly what i was looking for an left with better hair in the process. My hair went through a process but is still so soft as silk even better than when I came in can not believe how amazing the results came out! 5 Stars is inadequate......Oscar is a Rockstar stylist!!!!Im new to Ocala, and feel blessed to have found Oscar at O Hair Salon.Many stylists dont listen,Oscar gets 8 Stars because not only does he listen..... he strategises , plans & schemes with you to create a game plan for the current visit & future hair goals.This guy is a wizard with color, and gives an awsome haircut! I brought him 5-6 different photos of the cut & color I was aiming for, and he blew me away with the results.Side note: I referred a friend , who has never colored or highlighted her hair before. Because she really had no idea what she wanted or expected, he cut her hair, and told her to think about it, and come back another time for the color. I really respect that he didnt try to convince her to do this or that, or worse, just do what he wanted to do.If your on the fence, just book your appointment.Youll be glad you did!!

I am so lucky I found Oscar! I moved to Ocala 5 years ago and have been to a bunch of salons but no where can compare to the amount of detail and skill that Oscar has.
