    First of all, I do not recommend trying to just walk in without an appointment. The people there are great, but it’s a pretty popular place so if you don’t make an appointment, you might waste a lot of time waiting there. I very much recommend downloading the app and checking the times and using it to save a place in line. They do a very good job giving haircuts.

    Rachel is the best.I needed to find a new barber, so I tried out dozens of locations over the course of a year or longer. I hesitated on giving Sports Clips another chance because my previous cut there was pretty bad, but I know it comes down to the barber, not the business.So a few months ago I returned and was assigned Rachel. She did an excellent job. Shes been my go-to ever since and I will be returning as long as shes around. I dont know how she works so quickly without sacrificing quality. But she does it, consistently. Thanks Rachel!

    This place is pretty cool. They have an app to make your appointment. I didn’t like how it changed times so quickly, like it could have asked me if I could make the new time. I will say that Chasity is an amazing hair stylist!! I will be returning.

    Heather is absolutely the best stylist I have ever been blessed to receive service from. I started going to SportsClips in the late 90s in San Antonio ... and continued on while living in Montgomery, Alabama from 2012-2018 when I then moved to Ocala ... thus 25 years or so as a customer of Sportclips ... many really good stylists / a few not so good .... but Heather is exceptional! The company (and franchisees) should use Heather as the standard for all of their stylists. Likewise; hopefully both corporate and the franchisee for Ocala take the opportunity to formally recognize Heather for being such an outstanding employee!

    My boys both go here regularly for their haircuts. The shop is a fun atmosphere. Sometimes the wait on the weekend could be a little long, but were still gonna go. The girls are all very sweet ❤️

    I will start out by saying I am a manager of A very busy repair shop. I deal with people everyday and understand customer service very well. I have used Shelby a few times and I will stick with her. She is very professional and does great work. Today I took my son in. She did a great job! He wasn’t sitting very still and she kept smiling and interacting with him to keep him still. We won’t go to anyone else except for her. Thank you so much for fixing his last messed up cut! Shelby will keep us coming back!

    I took my son here for a haircut and Shelby did an amazing job with him. She took her time and really made sure we were pleased. I want to comment on how patient she was. We didn’t go for a simple trim, we wanted a cute little faded haircut and she did such a good job. The first haircut he got, he freaked out about the buzzer and somehow she made him so comfortable that he didn’t cry one time. She deserves a raise! I highly recommend her! And Shelby, if you see this, thanks again! It won’t be the last time we see you, hopefully.

    I had my best experience at a Sport Clips from Katie. I’m the kind of person that goes 5 months without a haircut. She somewhat read my mind on what I wanted and did it quickly. You can tell she’s highly experienced. I also got the MVP from her, which she did a great job… She’s honestly a natural salesperson and showed me all the beard oils before I settled on some tea tree hair stuff instead (which she explained perfectly).. I ‘might’ become a 2 month haircut person just because of her… This girl is literally the jam, sportclips, and she just moved here. Thanks KT! :)

    I took my 4 year old son in for his first professional hair cut. We didn’t have an appointment scheduled but they still got us back with no wait. Shecka cut his hair, she was patient and polite with him but also fast and did a good job. The shop was organized and clean. We will be back.

    As long as you schedule ahead, its not bad. Would be a long wait if a walk-in. Pretty nice having a place that you can go to even if you are not from here, and they know what your last cut type was in a different state.

    This was an amazing place. Jess was wonderful she engaged my 11 yr old and made him smile. She is definitely worth driving an hour to go back for hair cuts. All the staff was warm friendly and wonderful.

    My first time in and it was really pretty good. The nice staff set me up with the MVP package for free. It was a scalp massage/hot towel and shoulder massage add on to the normal haircut. Just what the doctor ordered after hurricane Irma. Prices seemed fair, I will be back.

    Always an excellent haircut. I love the fact that they keep all of the notes in the computer. If you go to another Sports Clip they can find out exactly how your hair is cut and do it just like you normally would have it cut.There is almost always a wait, but not long. I also like that they dont try to sell you all the products you already have. Most salons guilt you into buying what you dont need or already have.

    Staff is very helpful and responsible. I got my hair cut with Lorrie, and once I was home I noticed a bit of a mistake (that I caused through a miscommunication) and she promptly got me back in the chair and fixed it. Great service every time I go.

    By leaps and bounds, the best place for a cut in town !!!! Staff is amazing and I see people complaining bout scheduling below... LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR!!! There is no scheduling its called a WAIT LIST. Meaning that you are NOT guaranteed a spot it is first come first serve essentially. However if you use your common sense if you check the wait list and see the time drop maybe just maybe call the store and simply ask if the time is accurate. These girls here are amazing and work very hard to take care of individuals hair. Dont be petty and slander the establishment because you simply are not capable of using common sense. I will ALWAYS come to sports clips in ocala.... Shelby is AWESOME btw !!!!! See you again in 2 weeks sports clips of OCALA.

    This place is awesome. I went in just for a cut (the other stuff doesnt appeal to me) but this isnt just a straight up barber shop. They got TVs everywhere, and theyre all on sports. The lady who cut my hair (not sure of her name, skinny black lady at the very front, first chair I think) gave me a haircut that I liked and thats the first time anyones done that in probably 15 years. It looks really good and I wish I could go back here to get it cut again (moving in 3 days). They do like to chat a bit but nothing big. Theyre not trying to grill you but just make polite chit chat. Seriously, greatest haircut ive had in a while.Only bad side is no hot shave. I was really needing one but they dont offer it. Still, 5 stars.

    I got a haircut in here at 2062 SW 19th Ave Rd Suite 202 here in Ocala, Florida at 2-05-2020 I got a Client Ad,and a Beard Detail by Stephanie !IIt was my first time at that location before it was at Springfield,Mo. I got a crew cut,and a business beard trim of 1!I think Stephanie did a wonderful job,and as such I suggest Sports Clip as a place to groom for Hair, mustache,and beard! Thank you Stephanie,and the rest of Sports Clip for doing such a wonderful job on hair trimming!

    Ive always had a good experience there but Im working in Midland tx right now and need a haircut ,I called the ocala store where I always go and always tip well ,at 1205 PM est and a girl answered the phone,I asked what my haircut typically is there,she said she didnt have time to look it up for me because they have clients ,Im sure it doesnt take that long to push a button and help a loyal client out ,as far as Im concerned with the rudeness of this employee, I dont think Ill be back,learn some customer service skills!Mark Muir
