    Phyllis has been doing my hair for years and has seen my hair through many stages; pregnancy, post-partum hair loss (twice!) and coloring my hair for the very first time. She has always been so patient with me and amazing at explaining her process in a way I can understand! She has always treated me and my hair with so much love and care and I can’t recommend her enough!! Anyone who sits in her chair is going to feel so seen and valued and walk away feeling amazing. Love Phyllis so much!!!!

    Update a year later and still loving Jody! Her salon is such a comforting place to be and she is the best.love coming to the proper tease! I have been seeing Jody for 4 years now and she’s always done right by me and my hair. She’s honest, trustworthy, and very talented. I have attached some photos from looks we’ve done over the years. Could not recommend this place more! I have sent 4 people here who all are now regulars from hair to nails!

    Karrey is amazing!This was my first salon trip ever and Karrey made sure I was comfortable and got exactly what I wanted- nothing less. He is very professional, clean and works quickly but doesn’t rush!I just wanted some blonde added into my brown hair to blend into my blonde tips and he exceeded my expectations!After the color and cut was done, he even styled my hair for me and I’m obsessed!10/10 recommend this shop. Everyone was very welcoming, such a pretty and clean shop. Overall, amazing experience.😌

    When I first met Phyllis, 2 years ago, it was after a dye job from another stylist that left my hair a horrible shade of purple instead of the auburn I asked for. Not only did she correct the color, but she was able to help me recognize my hair as an investment and helped me get it to a plays that it was healthy again. She’s always honest about what will look good or not, and she’s always explained to me that if a certain color isn’t obtainable in one visit, that she’s not going to thing my hair trying. She always has a plan for the best results the right way. She helped my hair become healthy and something to be proud of. I’d recommend everyone to Phyllis!!

    Jody was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Not only did she work absolute MAGIC on my terrible box dyed hair mistake (that I should have never done by myself), but she stayed after business hours to get my hair ready for the holidays. From the second I sat down at her station I felt taken care of and so confident in her work. She turned my black box dyed hair to a beautiful brown with highlights! I came in thinking my hair was fried and ruined… but she got it to exactly what I wanted! I was already prepared to think it was unfixable but she did it! The picture speaks for her work.     I came to Proper Tease and met with Karry to have my hair fixed. The previous salon I went the day before did not do what I asked for and let me leave looking ridiculous and feeling self conscious about my hair. After I sat with Karry, my hair turned our absolutely amazing! Ive have never received the amount of compliments that I have on my hair until Karry. I feel great, my hair feels great, Im obsessed.     I love working with Jody on all my hair needs! Jody has been my favorite stylist for many many years. She has always been honest, professional and very very knowledgeable. Always up on the times!     I can’t begin to describe how much I love this salon and the stylist as a whole. I might be a little bias because I work here as the nail technician, but,In all honesty it took me years to find a salon where I can fully trust in their ability with my hair.     This was my first time using the proper tease for hair services normally in go to Glenda for my nails but she recommended the stylist Karrey and he was phenomenal!     Im not sure where to start. This was an entirely fabulous experience. Five stars is just too dim for a place that shines like this one does.A simple need for a haircut turned out to be something Ive not encountered at any salon Ive ever visited.Firstly, when trying to make the appointment, my phone dropped the call. The Proper Tease called me right back and they apologized for missing the call! Who does that!? I explained it was my phone and we made an appointment. Upon arrival I found the salon to be a hidden gem. Very clean and upscale, yet warm, relaxed and inviting. My appointment was with Damion. Quite simply an extraordinary person as well as a extremely talented stylist. My hair has always been a source of embarrassment and frustration for me. Not only did Damion give me an incredible style but taught me about the proper tools and how to use them to keep the style fresh. I truly enjoyed his company and conversation throughout my visit as well. Im very happy our paths have crossed. I now have the very best hair style I have ever had in my life. Aint no lie. My hair looks amazing. Tears of joy. Thank you Damion and thank you Proper Tease. This was truly a game changer. Wishing you much success and prosperity. ❤️

    Look how perfect my hair is! Karry did absolutely amazing and I would 10/10 highly recommend (not going to lie I probably spelled his name wrong). I told him what colors I wanted of pink and gray. He recommended blonde highlights and honestly I’m so happy I let him change my mind.

    I have been going to Proper Tease Salon for a few years now. James is an amazing master stylist! When I came to James, my hair was severely bleached out. He now has my hair looking very nice with light highlights! I have purchased products from Proper Tease at the suggestion of James, these products have my hair sleek and smooth. He is also very considerate of Your time! I never have to wait on him! I am very pleased to have found James!     After going to a different salon over the weekend and getting over 9 inches chopped off, and what turned out to be the worst haircut/color ever, I came across The Proper Tease Salon when looking for salons nearby. I seen all the reviews that said either James or Jody as both being excellent! Well I called, made an appointment with Jody and happy to say I found my new forever salon!She was able to “fix” the haircut chop that was done just a few days prior and the color as well! Very friendly atmosphere and Jody did an excellent job!

    After moving here from out of state, it was not easy to find a stylist that worked well with fine hair, for coloring and highlighting. The first place I went to was a bad experience. So I continued searching and found the Proper Tease salon. I read the reviews which were very positive with James. So I booked my appointment with James who was pleasant and after discussing what I wanted, he did excellent on my color and great with blow drying, which in the past was not usually great with others.

    Ive gotten my hair done at so many salons and different stylists and only ever found one that brings what I want to life. Ive gone to Becky for the past few years so of course I followed her here and Im just as pleased as always. Super friendly atmosphere all around and shes just a blast to talk to while she works. Will be going again for my next touch up.

    I apologize for my not perfect English as Im not a native speaker.But I wanted share my experience as well.I went to the salon to do the highlights.Jody was working with me. She is very friendly, does her job amazing, fast, follow your instructions and have very nice energy.I was in the salon almost 2 h and I didnt even notice it. Book your appointment with Jody if youre looking for the good hair master and you wont be disappointed. Ill add few pics of my highlights that you can see the result.My hair generally thin but it added a little volume and I also did a haircut that included with the service.Thanks again!

    I called two weeks ago for a certain stylist. They never called back, but Im glad because instead of an appointment, I opted to just walk in. Needed a haircut badly. It was about 2 years since I had it styled. I havent found anyone worthwhile to cut- style my hair. Karrey was the stylist. He listened to what I wanted, and I gave him some leeway and input, and I just love my new hair. He did a fantastic job! Finally, I found someone in Ocala who can cut and style my hair.     I have been going to The Proper Tease for 2 years now. Today I saw Jody for a partial highlight and a cut and was very pleased with the outcome. I can only speak from my own experiences. I have had both James and Jody on different occasions and both do an exceptional job with color and cuts. I would not hesitate to refer a friend or relative for an appointment. This is the only Salon for me. They are true professionals.

    I came in with completely botched hair from the salon down the road. Becky was so sweet and funny. She made my tears turn into smiles and fixed what they had ruined. She actually gave me the haircut I had originally wanted but the other salon couldnt do. Somehow she fixed it and I have no clue how. Thank God for this place because all the other salons I called were pretty rude and seemed kinda arrogant. They are down to earth here. They have a new customer for life.

    I moved to Marion County about 8yrs ago. I have many colic’s in my hair and it’s difficult for a stylist to cut properly. I will say it’s a men’s haircut and can’t be that hard but my hair is easily messed up without a proper cut. I finally found Jodi and I couldn’t be happier. Not only do we have great conversations, but she does a fabulous job with my hair. I’ve moved in the last year and now I’m 30mins away and probably could find someone closer but I just love the way she cuts my hair and how wonderful she is. Couldn’t be happier with her salon! Highly recommend!

    The owner revived my hair in 2007. My hair had been bottle blonde for several years and was fried. Since then, and continually having my hair done by Jody, I have done many colors and my hair looks healthier each time. As of 2023, my natural hair color is gray with lots of brown/dark blonde/white. As always, Jody made me feel like I look refreshed, and I think this is my favorite strawberry blonde yet. This one is in the pictures. If you would like to liven up your haircolor, The Proper Tease is the place to go.

    When I moved to Ocala in 2017, I had left behind in Chicago my hair stylist of 15 years. Needless to say, since arriving in Ocala, I went through several hairstylist’s before I finally found Jody, and she is truly a diamond in the rough!     Ron is a hair genius! He was born to do hair & this is obvious from his creativity, quality, and overall professionalism. He truly listens to what you want and goes above and beyond! I came in today with my hair a mess of roots and bleach (see my photos for before and after). At first I requested black & blonde highlights, and Ron suggested to add red as well....so happy I took him up on this! He personally mixed these colors for me & I am in love with my hair! On top of being an amazing hair professional, Ron is incredibly nice, personable, & fun to talk to. Jessi is also super friendly & down to earth. As a member of the LGBT community, I feel incredibly safe & welcome here. Ive found my permanent hairstylist and I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. Dont walk, RUN to this salon! You wont regret it (although you may regret not coming here sooner)!

    For the last year and a half, I always go to Karrey at The Proper Tease for tape-in extensions and that celebrity “glass hair” look. They last 6 weeks and I’m always in love with his work, he’s such a sweetheart, and the conversation is always great.     Hands down, one of the best salons yet. Most definitely will choose them anytime I need ANYTHING done for my hair. Damion was amazingly talented and down to earth easy to talk with. Not only did he make my vision come true, he spelled it out for me. I knew what I wanted but couldn’t explain the picture so he put his talents in the best use. I didn’t get scolded into changing my mind there was no pressure. He said what the facts were and gave me exactly what I wanted. I am in love with my hair. I was scared to have bangs knowing they aren’t for everyone, but he did his job RIGHT. Definitely knows what he’s doing. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. Thorough job.     WOW! My Truly Miraculous Transformation was Created by the Knowledge, Experience, and Mastery’s of Ron’s Talent and Skills! I walked in with two toned dark roots and straw blonde hair that was in dire need of help and attention. I was tired of my same hair (box dye jobs or bleaching) for 20+ years. I was apprehensive but in need of change! Ron honestly and efficiently explained his professional vision for my new look. I was fortunate to be seen that day due to his solid clientele and demand of amazing services. His protégés, Saige and Jagger, were kind, willing, and eager to help in the transformative process. They are down-to-earth and encouraged me while I awaited my exciting new look.     James, at Proper Tease Salon is the BEST hair stylist! We maybe moving out of state soon and I have 2 major concerns and they are I have to change Doctors and I am going to have to find a way to get back to James once a month! I am very serious about this due some things that have happened to my hair when I have been out of state for a couple months! I have had my hair burned and a totally different color and a terrible cut every time I have left the state! The last time James even gave me the Formula for the person to use and it was a disaster!! When I got back home James was so patient and confident that we would get it back to what it should look like, but it would take time! He is so calming and yet gets you laughing that you feel so much better when you leave. I have been seeing James as long as he has been at Proper Tease and even with moving, I will still come back every month to see James! My next appointment is next week and I think it is time we took some photographs of my hair so everyone can see the awesome job on color and style! Check back next week to see!

    Jody is a rockstar, she wants you to be happy with your hair & experience in her salon. She always asks “what are we doing today” to communicate & understand what you would like done with your hair goals.If you are requesting a different hair goal from what you normally get or it’s your first time in her salon, Jody will say “if you go home & feel like you don’t like it, call me and we’ll get you back in to get your hair how’d you like”. And she means it.Jody wants her clients happy, and understands sometimes it’s hard for a first time client’s visit to clearly explain their hair goal. Jody has even let me bring my baby in for appts and is beyond accommodating. I’m grateful I found her salon & appreciate Jody & her staff so much.

    Just recently went to The Proper Tease Salon for my mother and made an appointment with Ron. He was absolutely amazing. You could tell from the beginning he knew exactly what he was doing and has been doing this for a long time. He sat down with her before even getting started to figure out what exactly she wanted which was a nice change compared to other stylists we have went to. He did a beautiful job on her hair and definitely recommend anyone who comes here to ask for Ron. He is very detailed oriented and budget friendly.     Absolutely love this place! If you have a calm, laid-back personality, and a sense of humor this is the place for you! The first time I visited PT Ron was my stylist. I was extremely satisfied with haircut he gave me not to mention he is very funny, and made me feel very comfortable. However yesterday I booked an appointment with James. My hair was originally box dyed black :/ and he managed to lift it to a warm Carmel blonde and I am so happy with the results. James is amazing and hilarious! Sitting in his chair made me feel like I was hanging out with one of my best friends, and I left feeling absolutely beautiful. I promise you can not go wrong with either of these stylist ❤️

    Proper Tease exceeded my expectations. James is an excellent stylist! He is very experienced and knew exactly what I wanted. I was hesitant to try yet another new salon, but I was so happy I did. James was very patient, took his time and I felt very comfortable with him. My long hair is deceiving. It looks straight when wet, but takes a long time to dry because it’s frizzy and wavy. He gave me a great cut and knew exactly what to do and offered lots of suggestions. I have been to several different salons since moving to Florida from NY 13 years ago, either because the stylist left or I just wasn’t pleased and I didn’t return. I’ve even waited to get my hair done until going back to NY several times just to not have to deal with finding another salon here in Florida. But I am definitely going back to James. He is awesome! My daughter’s highlights that he did came out great, so I’m thinking of doing some color with him too. Thanks James!! We will be back!! Don’t go anywhere!

I have very long hair, so it takes hours to do highlights and he was very patient and did an amazing job.     I went in to talk to Ron about moving my extensions up that a previous salon did. I wasn’t happy about my hair and he wasn’t either. The quality of my extensions was terrible. The way the other salon cut my extensions was terrible. Ron couldn’t stand it, he said sit in that chair and I am telling you he was like Edward Scissor hands cutting my hair and it was the first and only time I felt beautiful with my extensions. Fast forward three weeks later, I had Ron order me new hair, which actually feels like human hair and I got another amazing cut and I absolutely love my hair. Not only will he be my hair stylist for life but I can easily see how he will become a friend for life as well. Amazing stylist and an amazing person!

    After several years unhappy at another salon, I decided to look for someone new. I did a lot of research and decided on Ron at The Proper Tease based on all the amazing reviews I read. Well, I am NOT easily pleased and I am so elated I found this salon and Ron!!! I lived in South Florida most of my life and have gone to some of the best hair stylist. Ron tops them all!! He truly has a unique gift of understanding what you want, combining it with what looks best with your coloring and hair, and the creative artistic flair to give you something that no one else has!!!! He custom made my coloring and wrote it on my customer card he made up for me so I would have something unique. I was so surprised as it was so natural and like my hair was in my youth. He is so gifted and I am blessed to have found him!! The salon works as a team. The other employees were so involved and helped each other. It was such a wonderful, uplifting experience.     Proper Tease Salon provided hair services for my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, my mother in law and myself. Everyone looked just beautiful! Ron is an amazing hair artist and very professional. From the minute I met him he made me feel comfortable and relaxed and the trial came out perfect! So, without second thoughts, I booked him for my big day! Ron listened carefully to everyone’s requests and was dedicated to making sure that every member of the bridal party was 100% happy and satisfied. The up-dos came out stunning!     Best hairstylist ever!!! I drive 4 hours to get my hair done by him!! Ron is the best in town!!!! My daughter also drives that far to get her hair done. The place is so clean and I love the music and environment is laid back.     Ron is SO good at what he does! I dont get my hair done often and I have never been to the same Solon twice, and today I went back to The Proper Tease to have Ron do my hair for the second time in a row! And I will keep going back! I shouldve written a review the first time because I was VERY happy with my results AND experience, but just didnt take time to write a review..after today, Im making time! Ron made sure I was going to get exactly what I wanted... Every step of the way he made sure I was happy with what he was doing and his recommendations..he also has a wonderful personality. He was personable and kept it real...while I was there during both visits, I watched several other people come in that clearly love his work as well..also, the place is very nice, well kept, and comfortable..if you want to love your hair, then go see Ron!     I moved to Ocala about 1 1/2 years ago and was in need of a haircut. I am very picky with my hair and was afraid to go somewhere new.     Today was my first visit at The Proper Tease Salon. Ron is amazing! He listened to my requests and fine-tuned them into the perfect outcome for my hair. I went in with plain, one-dimensional, straight, same-length hair and walked out looking straight out of a magazine shoot. He added depth, volume, and shape that was beyond my expectations. The atmosphere is friendly, high-end, beautiful and relaxing. What he did to my hair is magic. It hasnt looked this good ever even though Ive had a couple of great stylists.     Ron is the BEST!!! He was recommended to me by a friend when I lived in Orlando who insisted I make the hour drive to try him out. Im SO glad I did, it was well worth the trip! He has a great eye and is equally talented at cuts and coloring which is hard to find both skills in one person. I have lived all over the country, including LA and New York, and still look forward to my visits to Florida to go see Ron and get my hair done! Hes also very accommodating and does his best to get you scheduled when you need it! My mother still lives in Orlando and continues to make the trip to Ocala just to get her hair done!     Okay so, this is the first time I’ve been here, and i’m not sure what I expected. I’ve haven’t been pleased with many Salons nor has my mother, so when we got here, our expectations were greatly passed! Rachel, my stylist did an absolute amazing job; I was getting it colored and cut, and it’s absolutely beautiful — She was very kind too. My mother got a haircut whilst I was having mine by Ron, and it’s also very amazing. The interior was high end and tools were very nice. The atmosphere, too, was very light hearted and fun. Overall, I have to really recommend it to anyone, it truly is a very nice place!

    I called the salon yesterday and James was able to get me in today with a flexible schedule. I had no idea what I wanted except for a notebook full on conflicting ideas and guidelines, but James turned my hair into exactly what I didnt even know was possible!     I went to the Proper Tease salon for a trial updo for my wedding. I had a couple of trials beforehand at other locations, but I had been unable to achieve the look I was dreaming of.     Incredible place! Ron is a MASTER! I have really long and thick hair, he colors,cuts and styles it perfectly.     The experience I have at The Proper Tease is like no other. Ron makes you feel like family and I have felt like family for about 4 years now.     Ron is amazing! Actually all of his employees are as well. Im never disappointed when I leave there, in fact this is the only Salon I trust enough to go to.     Havent seen Ron in years and wanted to see his new salon. Great place with a comfortable, upbeat atmosphere. Went in with chlorine green tips from the pool that other stylists told me wouldnt come out and he nailed it!! Great color, cut, service and price! Im loving the new cut.     I had a WONDERFUL experience with Ron and his assistant. I was recommended by Facebook because I needed a really late last minute appointment.     Okay, lets talk about the haircut I just got from Ron at The Proper Tease. Its simple, I just got the best haircut and style I have gotten in the entire 16 years I have lived in the state of Florida (and I have lived all over this state). This cut was so good that it actually made my hair color look better (which I mentioned to Ron before I left the salon). This haircut was so good that I left the salon skipping (Im 42, I definitely dont skip too often). This haircut was so good that I drove 10 miles out of my way to go show it to my daughter at her work. Her response, Wow, Mom he did such a good job that your color even looks better. Yep, that literally happened. But wait, it was far more than that. For the first time in the 24 years I have been getting my hair cut as an adult, I had a stylist who was HAPPY to be cutting and blowing out my extremely thick, all-the-way-down-my-back, semi-curly hair. Ron was not just happy, he was excited to get his hands into it.I was also the last appointment of the day, and had the audacity to show up with this massive pile of hair that hadnt been properly cut in years, and Ron did not make me feel like I was putting him out in any way...he was EXCITED. This made me so incredibly happy (and relieved). Quite honestly, most stylists are not too excited about the amount of work that goes into doing my hair. There was NO judgement about the condition of my hair, or the fact that I had been butchering it at home for the last few years, there were NO pushy sales, NO snootiness, and NO BS. All of these things are very important and meaningful to me.An excellent haircut is pretty fantastic, but all the rest of it made this probably the best damned experience I have ever had in a salon. It is just a wonderful place, with wonderful REAL people who love what they do, do it well, and want you to leave happy. If you just like to be treated like you matter, and you like excellent stylists who do excellent hair, this place might just be your new jam.

    I was looking around everywhere for an amazing salon. I drove all the way from Gainesville to go here. When I called, the owner of the store Ron, squeezed me right in. I get to Ocala and the place is gorgeous. They make me feel welcomed, as soon as I walk in. My hair stylist is sage. And she was very very gentle. And she sat with me the whole time and talked. I have never been treated better at a salon. No stylist has ever sat with me the whole time. They made sure I was taken care of. And I had the best hair cut of my life.     Since June 2019 I have been searching for the perfect salon that just felt right. From word of mouth from 2 co-workers I called this pass Monday to schedule an appointment. Ron (owner) got me in today at 7PM for my consult, color & cut. Walked in, met Ron and it was a great fit from the 1st minute, we talked as if we had known each other for 20 years. He listened to what I wanted for my hair color, health of my hair, and look that I was looking for. He not gave me his background and we discussed what he felt he heard from what I said & what he felt would work for the health of my hair and myself.     I have curly hair and as I am new to Ocala I wasnt sure who to go to that is good with curly hair. I went through a google search and decided to go here, I had a feeling they would be the one. I called and got an appointment the same day. Jamie cut my hair and I cannot express how happy I am with the results! He listened to what I wanted, he took his time and he didnt just hack off my hair right away, he cut it carefully always asking what I thought. I am beyond happy with the cut. I went from shoulder length to a short asymmetrical hair cut and while thats a big step, I am extremely happy with it. I wont be going to anyone else, Jamie is the perfect hair stylist for me!     This was my first experience with The Proper Tease hair salon, and I was very impressed! The salon is very clean and the stylists are attentive and committed to their clients being pleased with their results. I went in with reference pictures and a vague idea of what I wanted. Ron and Saige worked together effectively to help give me a hairstyle that suits my everyday life, while also taking my references into account! Ron is very knowledgeable about his profession and Saige is excellent at picking up tips and tricks as she learns from him. Saige was also exceptionally pleasant and was very attentive.     I have always wanted to go to a proper salon and I ended up looking for a couple in Ocala, FL. This place had the best reviews so I gave it a try. My hair was very long and I wanted a big change. James cut my hair and styled it beautifully and told me that if I wanted it shorter I could come back. The day after I called him and said I wanted it shorter, and he happily told me to come whenever! He styled it again and did the whole blowout and it looked amazing.     I love this salon! My first visit was extraordinary. When I walked in, I felt like a hag with extremely long one length thick hair. I needed a change desperately.     I just want to say how amazing this salon is! I went in on Saturday and was greeted as soon as I came in with a very friendly nice young lady. I was a walk-in and was told that they are were all booked for the day. But was given an appointment with a stylist for the following Tuesday. So just to let everyone know I have a lot of nervousness, when it comes to salons, that only was brought on a couple years ago because I had a horrible experience at a different place that chopped my hair off and its taken the last couple years to grow out. So there was a little confusion between the sylist that I made the appointment with and myself, but the owner Ron called me back and asked me to please come in and let him cut my hair, so I did, and WOW I am soooo happy about my new hair! I feel like a different person. RON IS AN AMAZING STYLIST. He explained what he was doing the entire time he cut my hair, and he really had fun doing it . And he did this all off the top of his head.     Ron, Melissa, and Gregory are great people. I did not go to an actual salon or do anything to my hair for 10 years due to bad experiences (cutting my hair way too short & bad styling) I was extremely nervous to go to an actual salon but my family was unable to create the hair style I wanted so I went. & they did amazing. My hair was exactly what I was expecting after talking with them and even a little better. I also have extreme anxiety around new people but Ron makes that disappear immediately, Melissa was extremely positive towards me and kept telling me how long and pretty my hair was, and Gregory (who actually did my hair) was extremely relaxed and chill , I didn’t feel like I had to talk and hold a conversation and the quietness was not awkward or uncomfortable. If you like to chit chat and talk I would recommend Ron who has great energy, if you are more of a quiet person I would recommend Gregory , but if that doesn’t matter to you, go to either one and they’ll do it perfectly. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has had bad experiences in Ocala and to anyone who’s hair is extremely important to them and they want it done exactly how they request it.

    This was my first time at this salon. I went based on reviews, and they did not disappoint! My hair was a complete overgrown Covid mess! lol James was my stylist and I gave him the almost impossible task of fixing my box hair dye mistake and turn me from red, back to blonde ….PLUS give me my sassy hair cut back! In the past when I have given other salons this task, they were perfectly fine rushing me through the process, and shoving me out their doors with orange hair 😱…but not James! It took 4 hours total, but he got the job done right, and gave me the best hair cut I’ve ever had! I didn’t have the pleasure of experiencing the other stylist, but he was very welcoming, and I could tell he knows what he’s doing as well. The receptionist was sweet and friendly, and the cost was very reasonable, making it a great experience all around. I will definitely be a returning customer!!

Jody at Proper Tease not only squeezed my in last minute on a Saturday, she did my hair so beautifully! She gave me recommendations but did exactly what I asked for. She is also super friendly and easy to caht with!

    I have been going to Ron Decker, owner of the Proper Tease Salon for almost 10 years. He is so creative that I am always confident I will be happy with my result. So confident that I just sit down in the chair, relax and let him work. Most importantly he is most concerned with clients having healthy hair - he will never over process it. The salon is ultra modern and beautiful too!

    The Proper Tease is the best hair salon Ive ever been to. I am from out of town and was visiting Ocala, seeking to get my hair done. Every place I called either had no availability for my schedule or was closed. Then I found The Proper Tease! This exuberant Ron answered my call and said Youve called the right place! So friendly and welcoming. It was the nicest shop, the nicest people and the best atmosphere of any shop Ive been to. I was treated like a queen and got the best haircut ever. Damien was so excited and so professional, he made me feel so relaxed and special. I heartily recommend this salon!

    Ron at Proper Tease is MEGA- amazingggg!!! I went to get my haircut from another place and they messed up my hair so we went to Proper Tease and had Ron fix up my hair. I no longer look like a 15 year old. Now I look like a mom! I feel really beautiful after Ron cut my hair. Lilly says thank you so much for taking care of me! I will be going to Proper Tease from now on!
