Edie’s Styling Center’s stylists Rachael and Kylie worked magic with a half foil and haircut, and the results are absolutely stunning! My hair now feels light, beautifully blended, and refreshed. The attention to detail and expertise made all the difference. The salon atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. I couldn’t be happier with the transformation—highly recommend!

My granddaughter had a hair color and cut correction emergency! I left a voice message at the salon on a Sunday after and on Monday the next day even though the shop was closed I was contacted! That was amazing. Edie, the owner, scheduled an appointment Tuesday the very next day! I have never seen such expertise and skill anywhere in the hair industry in FL. My granddaughters haircut and color are absolutely stunning. The other stylists were excellent as well. Everyone upon leaving the salon looked beautiful. Thank you to Edie and her girls. Really good place. First ever professional hair salon I went to and had a great experience. I needed to get my dark brown hair into dirty blonde and they are helping me transition smoothly and without any hair damage. After just first session my hair went soft, lifted and more healthy. I was so impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone in Edie’s Styling Center. The second I set foot inside, I was treated like family and given the utmost care. Edie gave me a wonderful consultation (which honestly felt more like a therapy session or tea with a loving Auntie) and she took care of all of hair needs and then some. I didn’t ned my color done, but my hair was in desperate need of a deep condition and cut. My hair feels healthier than it has in YEARS and I’m obsessed with the fullness and movement Edie’s expert cut gave to my fine, thin hair. I am already planning to bring my teenage daughter in for the same conditioning treatment, and I have found my new home base salon ♥️

I’m so happy and pleased with the whole experience! The location was very nice. When I walked in, it was very bright, clean, and everyone greeted me. I thought that was especially nice knowing that I never been there before. I loved the fact that they take so much pride and effort with cleanliness! They give you two separate bags to put your purse and phone in, the employees are sweeping up the hair, and they always clean and sanitize the seats when the customers get up. Edie, the owner, cut my hair. She was a delight! She is very knowledgeable about hair and very friendly. I got the deep conditioning treatment. When I came, my hair was so dry and weighed down. After a minute of having the treatment on, my hair felt a lot better! Since I had a color, I got the hot towel treatment. After my hair was shampooed, she put a hot towel behind my neck and one over my hair. She gently massaged my head and my temples. As I’m writing this review, I want to go back to get that done again! Also, who doesn’t like getting their hair washed?! All the products that they used smelled amazing and left my hair feeling good! I posted one before picture and some afters. The next time that I come to visit, I’m definitely coming back!

I just got home from my appointment with Rachel and I am totally in love with my new look! I had shown Rachel multiple photos, each with an aspect of a hair cut that I liked and she was able to execute exactly what I was looking for. She is excellent at her job, and so easy to talk to. She makes you feel very comfortable even when you are trying something new, and her expertise guides you to make the right decisions for your face shape/preferred look. I can’t thank her enough for the confidence boost that my new look gave me and I can’t wait to show it off.A plus of coming here is that aside from just Rachel, everyone on staff here is very kind. I was showered with compliments as I left and it was a really awesome way to start my day. It’s a wonderful environment filled with talented people. 10/10 recommend trusting them with your hair.

Edie’s Styling Center was the best accident I stumbled across. My hair was really long, thinning, and gray. I haven’t had my hair professionally cut or styled in a few years because I travel a lot. I decided I couldn’t stand it anymore and searched for a salon. I chose Edie’s because they had really good reviews and they are really close to where I am staying. I could not have had a better experience. Edie asked me questions and, more importantly, listened. She meticulously cut my hair giving my hair life again. Additionally, she showed me a few easy styles that I can easily do for any occasion. I didn’t leave without making another appointment for a touch up. Regarding the staff, everyone was professional. No one looked unhappy like they’ve been standing on their feet all day. No one was just standing around talking. They were all doing something and looked like they were into their work. The person that washed my hair almost put me to sleep it felt so good. I can’t stress enough the wonderful experience I had and I would absolutely recommend them.

The salon’s owner Edie is hands down the absolute best colorist/stylist I have ever had color and cut my hair! I’m in my mid 50s and moved to Florida in 2013 and have had the hardest time finding a colorist and stylist that I was happy with. I first went to Edie in August/September of 2023 to fix a “chop” job I had done by an inexperienced stylist in the area. I made an appointment with Edie and after talking to me about my color and cut, she knew exactly what to suggest, which is what I so desperately needed. I appreciate her experience, professionalism, and excellent recommendations! I just had my second color and cut with Edie yesterday (December 2023) and again… she knocked it out of the park! I normally don’t give reviews- but Edie and her Salon are an exception. I highly recommend her or anyone on her staff! You won’t be sorry!

I recently moved to the area from Colorado. I went to another salon prior to coming to Edies Styling Center. My hair is normally a rich, chocolate color, and I walked out with a color as close to a black sharpie marker as you can get! The cut and style was disappointing too. My hair is thick and shoulder length with a minimal amount of layers.Im a reasonably, flexible client who just wanted to walk out of the salon feeling like a million dollars, instead I ended up looking and feeling anything but. The other salon left me in a bind.I started searching on Google again, and prevailed when I found Edies Styling Center. I booked my appointment on-line, and Rachel called me the next day confirming information & adjusting my original booking. I knew she was the right master stylist for my needs right away. Customer service is a dying art, and Rachel hit a home run with her business etiquette & knowing what to schedule me for when I need my style & color resolved. I didnt expect a call, and it was a pleasant surprise in this automated age.Appointment day arrived, and made it in with anticipation. Edies is quiet inviting, quaint and welcoming. The staff is friendly beyond compare, and they welcome you in making you feel like youre not just a number in line for service. You become their main focus once you step in.Rachel took time and care in coloring, styling and treating my hair. She delivered the million dollar look I had been going for! Rich chocolate base, lovely long layers, and Carmel baylage with highlights.Its gorgeous! She took more than enough time to give me the desired look I wanted. Im new in the area an needed a stylist who gives a really good cut. I dont do color or elaborate styling anymore, so the cut really determines the look I want. Elizabeth gave an amazing shampoo that felt as much like a spa treatment as a great shampoo. Edie gave me a great cut and really understood what I was looking for.I felt great when I left with a beautiful style. However, as you know, the test of the cut is how I manage it after I get home. And it more than passed the test!Before moving to the area, I had been going to my stylist for more than 20 years. I think Edie could be my stylist for the next 20!

This was an amazing experience! I needed a cut and full head highlights. I had Edie for my color consultation and she did my roots the same day with something that wasnt a harsh color, Said it was more translucent so my gray and the highlights would blend better. And she was right, it all does:) Edie did my cut and highlights too. The highlights came out great, my husband said I look 10 years younger! They cater to you at this place and I highly recommend this business. It is the absolute best I have found in the area! I have been looking for a hair salon I could keep going back to and found that at Edie’s!

Ariel has been cutting and coloring my hair now for over a decade! She is absolutely amazing! She always takes the time to listen to what I want and makes the extra effort to achieve it. She also does my teens curly locks and my little ladies fine kiddo hair and we all adore her. We moved a little further out a few years ago but I am never disappointed to make the drive, she is our family hair stylist for LIFE!! Kelly is also a total gem and has helped us when our go-to girl is unavailable.I made the mistake of using an extension specialist for recent k-tip extensions to be installed and it was an absolute nightmare! Edie and Ariel jumped in and saved the day; they corrected the bonds and color and even spared me the guilt of trying another salon. These ladies are a dream team and have far exceeded my expectations over the years. I am always a happy girl when I walk out of Edies Styling Center!

Edie did my hair back when her shop was in downtown Clearwater. Loved her then, but moved to Texas. Ive never been able to replace the quality and care that I received there. So on a recent trip back to Florida I made it a point to find her and visited the salon in Oldsmar. It was like coming home! The salon is beautiful, meticulously clean and the staff is so friendly and welcoming! Because I have had so much trouble finding a hairdresser in Texas, my hair had grown REALLY long and had not been colored in ages. Edie took the time to do a consultation with me and to assure me that she would cut and shape my hair, but also suggested a soft perm (Ive never had a perm and had all kinds of preconceived notions about what that might mean.)Because I trusted her, I went ahead and did it and what a difference it made! I look atleast 10 years younger and have retired the big clip that my hair was permanently pulled up in.My cut is perfect for my face and with the soft perm, my style is SUCH low maintenance!I can shower, dry my hair and be on my way in just a few minuteslooking great. My friends here can not get over my makeover and just want to get to Oldsmar. We havent figured out how to do that yet, but if you are lucky enough to live in the area, get over there and see for yourself. You might even meet Edie. Heck, I may have to move back... I want to look this good all the time.HUGE props to Edie and her staff!

My two daughters had Rachel and Ariel and they were both amazing. My one daughter had her hair touched up and actually fixed from a previous hair style. Rachel had great ideas to style and fixed it and my daughter loved it even more. She said this is what she originally wanted. My other daughter wanted something much more complicated. Hands down the best experience I’ve had at any hair salon. I traveled to Florida and googled the closest salon to where I was staying and Edie’s happened to come up first. When I arrived I sat down and the young girl washed my hair twice, then conditioned and was given an awesome head massage. Then I met Edie. She was friendly and knew exactly what it was I wanted without me needing to describe much to her. It definitely wasn’t her first rodeo. She was quick and precise. Since moving here 3 years ago, I had yet to find a salon I liked, and with the pandemic, I was in desperate need of one, so I bopped into Edies on a whim to see if they took walk-ins. I dont think theyre necessarily accustomed to walk-ins, but Edie made me feel at home, and I was quickly set up with Rachel, who did a wonderful job. There were several things they did that were new to me: they put weights on my shoulders to ensure I had good posture, they had me stand during a part of the cutting, I sat under a steam-hood thing for 15 minutes after a conditioning treatment, and a lovely woman whose name I dont remember gave me a head massage, which was heavenly. I enjoyed the whole experience, and Ill be back!

Finding that perfect stylist has eluded me for a whole year since my move to Oldsmar. I went into Edies with my grays almost grown out and feeling overdue for a new look because the grey was washing out my face. My stylist was Ariel... Shes very talented at what she does. I was able to get in last minute when I called to get my hair done. Theyre always great about fitting me in because when I get inspired to get my hair done, its like totally in the moment. I was able to get a really cute cut that was new and different for me (I went with an asymmetric look for the first time). Ariel made my hair look great despite my reservations about the asymmetric look that I wanted but was nervous about. She also have me a rich deep color that took away my grey and made me look youthful again. Im only 37 and have grey hair ugh! But I fret not because it turned out amazing! I used to go to the hair school but it just took too long and I ended up not going enough. Once I tried Ariel at Edies, I havent gone anywhere else. Im spoiled. Until I moved closer to town, I drove 2hrs from Sarasota to have my hair done on the recommendation of friends and family. Coming from Chicago and the Michigan Ave salons, it has taken me 7 years to find a Florida salon that meets my needs/expectations. Sisters, I went to Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete, Safety Harbor, Palm Harbor, Westchase-all costly and with sometimes destructive results by well-meaning but less skilled stylists, using inferior products. Today I took my disaster of a hairstyle to Edie and she performed magic! I have been coming to this salon for almost 8 years! Rachel does such a wonderful job, I cant imagine going to anyone else! She listens to what you want and answers questions honestly. She is an expert when it comes to color and highlights and does excellent cuts. She always wants to make sure you are happy.

This was the first time I had had my hair done at Edies and the first time I have done anything to my hair as far as color, highlights, bayalage, etc. Honestly, before arriving, I was a little nervous to color my hair for the first time, but after meeting and consulting with Anna, I felt much more confident! She was very helpful and made sure she knew what I was wanting. Even though I live over 30 minutes away, Edies was very generous to stay open a few extra minutes so I could complete my consult and treatment all in one visit. I didnt even feel rushed! In the end, the bayalage turned out beautiful! Anna is truly talented and Im very happy I chose Edies to be the first to color my hair!

I cant even begin to describe how nervous I was for this appointment but I left with confidence and a stylist that I can return to again and again. Anna was amazing at understanding what I wanted and also knowledgeable enough to answer any questions or concerns. I went for a drastic cut and love my new short hair so much that I cant believe I put it off so long. I also needed a color correction for a wash out color I did at home that stained my hair. Anna was able to correct it and we discussed doing color in the future. Im excited to go back and think all the ladies at this salon are great. After a bad experience at a previous salon this was a warm welcome! Thank you Anna, Ive really never felt better about my hair!!

Highly recommend this hair salon. Edie has many, many years of experience, and ensures her staff follow her technical ability. I have fine hair that is very difficult to cut, and therefore have had mostly bad cuts my entire life. I was simply amazed at the ability Edie had to layer, texturize, and, perfect my hair. The detail, and concentration to my hair was none Ive ever experienced. She is also an expert in Balayage and color. This is a genuine crew at this salon, and has definitely won my approval (and I am super picky ;) )

Ive seen Ariel Eckert many times before, but yesterday I modeled for her for a hair cutting class through world renown stylist William De Ridder, and Im so in love with the job that Ariel did! I would have never have gone in and gotten my hair cut like I did yesterday, but now I seriously dont know why I have never been braver. Ariel does an amazing job, but even more so, all the staff is so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend Edies. You wont be disappointed one bit!

Let me start by saying I love, love, love my hair cut. I ordered a synthetic wig online and as usual it didnt look as expected. It was a little long in the back. I called Edies and found that Edie herself can cut wigs. I told Edie my concern and she said she could fix it. She also suggested a little thinning and trimming in other sections. Now its the perfect wig. The cut is modern and looks very natural. I plan on bringing all my new wigs to have Edie tweak them. If there are other wig wearers in the Tampa Bay Area, I strongly recommend you make an appointment with Edie in Oldsmar. As I looked around the women getting their biohair cut looked great too.

I went back to Edie this past week to get my color touched up. I had gone from blonde to brunette and after about 4 months my blonde started to peek through (the color stayed really nicely), I wanted to go a tad bit darker than the first time. Edie did perfect as always. She kept some of the lighter pieces to give it depth and its so beautiful! Edie is passionate about her work and you certainly see that. I am beyond pleased as usual.

I have gone through the gauntlet trying to find a great place to get a haircut in oldsmar. Long story short, I moved into the area and had to get a quick cut, so I went to a chain salon. Last time Ill ever make that mistake. They destroyed my hairstyle that I was working on for months prior, and I vowed that I would never compromise on my hair ever again. So after trying out what seems like every place in the area, I landed in Jennas chair here at Edies.Now Im not particularly a religious man, but Jenna is a GODSEND. She was first and foremost honest with me about what I had to do in order to rectify the mistakes made mentioned above, and thus cut my hair APPROPRIATELY in order to get it back on course. She was also super friendly and the atmosphere of this location is A+. Needless to say, I will be coming back to Edies for as long as Im in this area. If I could rate 6/5 stars, I would. If youre looking to get a good mens cut and you care about how you look at the end of it, than your search is now over.

She was soooo sweet, I shared with her that then my baby was 4 weeks old and this was my first time away from him and she made sure she took great care of me while speeding up the process. I have been dying my hair blonde for many years now and find that it is very hard to get the right tone sometimes it comes out brassy and orange but she did an absolute fantastic job and I am in love with my color!!! Writing this review is rather difficult for me because Edies Styling Center has left me speechless. Ive been trying to go from brunette to blonde for over a year and a half now and have wasted too much money on the wrong salons. If youre looking to go blonde, Edies Styling Center is definitely for you! I wish I had visited sooner. Anna is an amazing stylist, she definitely has a magic touch. Shes very sweet and attentive to your needs. I showed Anna a photo of what I wanted and she nailed it! Ill never step foot in another salon after my experience here. Edies Styling Center is THE PLACE TO GO FOR COLOR. Ive been going to Edie since I was 16 years old. Edie and her staff are the only people I trust for amazing color. Edie was one of the first stylists to learn Balayage and she is AN AMAZING BALAYAGE EXPERT. I once had a terrible experience with another stylist when I was living in a different state and Edie was able to correct my color when others werent. I highly recommend Edies Styling Center.
