    Needed a new place that was close by to cut my sons hair. The young man that helped us right away did an amazing job on my sons hair. He was growing it out and needed a new hair style from the usual low 2 and 1 cut. My son left happy.Thank you... to the young man with the top curly and highlighted tips for your exceptional customer care and service.For being our first time...reading the reviews and 5 stars...this place is great. I highly recommend it!!!

    I literally came here randomly and of extreme disappointment of a mobile barber of mine that sadly moved out of state, upon walking through the door, I was greeted by a young barber by the name of Joe Barros and little did I know what a blessing in disguise he would turn out to be. I was treated with the utmost respect (which is now a dying moral character in any Retail setting) and he intently listened to every detail of what my personalized style is. Every step of the process, he would proactively ask questions to make sure I was utmost satisfied with the style requested and his attention to detail is impeccable. I left that day on 01/25/19 beyond happy that someone with his talents actually exist here in South Florida despite many disappointments of going to other places in the area. Since then, I have become a loyal client and his talent is superior. The owner of the shop is a nice man and dont think he realized when hiring him on what a good name he brings to the business. Joe is a very humble person and works super hard to make the most of his new career as a barber fresh out of school. I highly recommend him to friends, family or anyone that wants quality service and to look your best. Number one fan here!

    Jason was an extraordinary barber! I am from out of town and he was able to give me a cut after hours! The man has major talent with the clippers! This barbershop is DEFINITELY the place to go if you are in the area.

    Matas is such a nice barber shop. One of those with the old fashioned barber shop vibes. Staff is very professional and youll even spend a nice time just waiting for your turn.

    My barber Jason is a beast. Always leaving me looking clean. I love how he tapes me up with the warm shaving cream feeling fresh. 5 stars!!

    Ive been coming to this shop since I was about 19 years old and Im 25 now. I started getting cuts with Joel and of course he gives the best tapes and cuts Ive seen in a while, I now cut my hair with Big Pun (nickname) aka David and Im more then satisfied with the way he cuts also. The shop has an old school/family feel and you will laugh at the conversations they have in there. I HIGHLY recommend this shop if you live in the Miami Gardens, Miramar, Pembroke or Miami Lakes FL area.Javier L.

    Great Barber shop!!! Comfertable chairs, good ambiance, and great barbers. Be sure to get the hot towel shave totally worth it!!! Highly recommend this shop to anyone.

    I havent been to Matas in years but im really happy to hear that the tradition is still going ... i used to get my haircuts by Matas himself in the late 80s and 90s...im 36 now and i sure do miss the old man .... big ups.

    Amazing experience jason cut my kids hair and they didnt cry once he did an amazing job on both of them and was so patient and awsome with the kids ive been to so many barber shops and ive finally found the right one ask for jason u wont regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This is the place I went for my first haircut when I was 5 years old. Mata himself used to cut my hair until I was 21. Then he stopped cutting hair. For 16 years he cut my hair. I miss the ol man!
