    My 13 year old son goes here and loves it! He was able to buy a Black Sabbath vintage Tee upstairs for an amazing price I might add and get an amazing haircut from Gabbi! Everyone is warm and welcoming. We highly recommend!

    Izzy is the best hairstylist I have had! She is a fantastic listener to what a person is desiring with their hair style and works with you to achieve the look you are wanting. Betsy, the owner , is amazing. Also, she cuts and colors my sisters hair. Lenny the Barber is wonderful too he cuts my husbands hair. Atomic is a salon for the family.

    I cannot express enough how amazing this shop is!! Betsy and her amazing team are insanely talented!! Every stylist and barber in the shop is amazing, so it doesn’t really matter who you see, you are certain to leave loving your hair and never trusting anyone else again!!     I just had an incredible experience at Atomic and had to share! If youre looking for a talented hairstylist who truly understands curly hair, Izzy is the one to see. She completely transformed my hair, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.Izzy knows curly hair like no one else – she took the time to listen to what I wanted, understood the texture of my curls, and gave me a cut that’s both flattering and easy to maintain. Plus, her color skills are on point! My highlights look vibrant and natural, and the blend of colors she used is absolutely stunning.What really stood out to me was how affordable the service was without compromising quality.     This place nails everything you want from a business to a T… customer service, friendly attitudes, great vibe, location, service delivery, timeliness, cleanliness, online scheduling…. Then you down to the actual work, this is a legitimate barber shop, the work performed here is master-craft and really highlights the difference between barbers and a “salon”. Go in once and you will see very clearly that these people have dedication to their business, their customer base and their service and deserve your business. My teenagers and wife are customers, I’m just a bald guy; came in with them and was blown away by this business.

    My grandmother went to this Salon for YEARS and I had no idea. Then a co-worker of mine recommended them and I wouldn’t go anywhere else to save my life. Now that my grandmother has passed I’m so glad I made a connection at an amazing place with an amazing woman (Betsy 🥰) that is something I can hold on to forever. I don’t get my hair done often, but when I do, it’s Atomic!

    My kids and I have been seeing Betsy since we moved to Florida in 2013 from Colorado and my hair decided to have a curly mind of its own!! Betsy is amazing!     I just went here for the first time to get my hair done and Izzy was so amazing!! I got my raccoon tails touched up and it looks super cute, i also got some ginger and blonde highlights added to my hair. she was very careful with everything and did the most to make sure that my hair got the least amount of damage possible. she and everyone else there were so sweet and helpful.

    Betsy has been cutting my familys hair for the past 14 years. I have been in a position to be able to watch her and Lenny grow their business, and they have done such a fabulous, fabulous job. They truly care about their clients and they provide exceptional service. Ive never walked out of their shop dissatisfied.On October 21st our daughter got married. Izzy and Betsy both came to our home and did hair and make up for the bridal party, the moms and most importantly, the bride. Everyone was absolutely beautiful and it was so nice to have them be part of her special day. I cant thank you enough for being here and being a part of Mauras wedding and celebrating her.     I have been getting my hair done by Betsy, the owner of this business for a few years now. She always does excellent work! I have been to more expensive salons and walked out less than satisfied, but I have never felt that way at Atomic. The work is quality work for an amazing price. I recommend them all the time. Its a very relaxed salon/barbershop. When you go into the salon you feel welcomed and part of their family. They have worked hard to curate an atmosphere of fun and respect. The entire staff is phenomenal from the Barbers upstairs to the stylists downstairs. Try them out you will not be disappointed!

    My daughters hair is nearly impossible to cut and she got the perfect cut and experience at Atomic by the owner Betsy who was absolutely wonderful with her. Each one of us has had our hair services done by almost all the stylists and barbers on staff. I feel very comfortable while in the salon and leave feeling confident and refreshed.     Years ago, I was looking for a new hairdresser to fix the huge mess atop my head. My friend suggested Atomic Beauty and Barber with Betsy. After dealing with the horror of my previous hair catastrophe, I was filled with trepidation, but I made the appointment anyways. And now, almost ten years later, I can honestly say, Betsy is the BEST. Not only is she a brilliant hairdresser, but she is simply a good human. She is honest, hardworking, and truly cares about her clients. Mix in her sass and edge, and you have a successful small business owner who knows how to make her clients happy and feel valued.     Ive been going to Atomic Beauty for a few years. Both Betsy and Izzy have done my hair, I never leave unhappy. They always listen to what I want and communicate the steps and the prices for the service, so I am never left in the dark or surprised.     I have been seeing Betsy since before her wd Lenny opened Atomic and have never had a bad experience! Very accommodating in scheduling my dad and I for the same time since I am his only ride there. Also very accommodating in doing his cut on the first floor since he cannot make it up the stairs to the Barber stations. The place has an excellent atmosphere and all stylists and barbers do an awesome job. I have no problem recommending any of them if Betsy cannot get them in her schedule. The fact that they are always booked speaks volumes!

    Atomic is the best for so many reasons. Incredible atmosphere, talented staff, welcoming patrons, but more than that - the owners and pros are compassionate, empathetic and just all around good, honest people. My husband has been a happy client for years.On a more personal note, my sister (who lives up north) was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer in 2020. As a support for her, I arranged a drop-in with one of the barbers. He not only accommodated the last-minute request (they are insanely busy because they’re awesome), but he wouldn’t let me pay for it. I continued seeing him for years after - long after my hair had grown-out. Nearly every stylist there has had a go at my hair, and I’ve never been unhappy with any part of my service.I can’t say enough good things about the people and business model. Thanks for being an incredible example, Atomic!

    I’ve been going to Atomic every six weeks for at least 10 years now. I met Betsy when she was the team mom for my 13 year old son’s Pop Warner football team. I thought it was insane how much she took care of, and with such grace and a positive attitude…in a pretty thankless volunteer position. When I found out she had her own business, I was anxious to see her work since I desperately needed to replace my then regular hairdresser to cover these gray roots my head keeps providing me with. I was extra excited because I’m totally about supporting local business AND incredible women. After my first appointment, I was smitten. I’m so incredibly grateful for this women and her ORGANIC color. She listens to what I want and gives me exactly what I ask for. Every. Single. Time.It’s not just me and Betsy, though. I have a 21 year old son whose self-esteem was completely turned around (in an incredibly positive way) when he first visited Lenny the Barber at age 15. He was so self-conscious about his hair and was growing up in a house with just three girls/women, and he desperately needed some experienced professional (male!) guidance. Lenny changed my boy. It’s incredible what hair can do for your confidence. What I witnessed for the next six years was a teenage boy turn into a young man, making his own regular appts with Lenny. Even as he’s in college in Alabama, he comes home just to go to Atomic for his haircuts. Lenny has no idea what he has done for my boy and I’ll forever be grateful. My 23 year old daughter will only go to Atomic for her gorgeous hair, and my 16 year old daughter has confidence because Izzy always gives her the color and cut changes that she wants. She does an amazing job every single time. And she truly does have the kindest soul. Oh, and the customers are cool as hell too. I love meeting and learning about people in my community and Atomic provides a welcoming and diverse environment that makes it so easy to connect with people I don’t know. I also love how Betsy brings everyone together through fundraisers that benefit local families and pets, and for thanking her clients with the coolest annual Christmas experiences.I’ve had the privilege to watch Betsy intentionally grow her business over these past ten year (sure wish I’d met her sooner!) and she is incredibly inspirational. Not only does she have mastery with the organic color and hire and retain amazing staff, but as an independent women, she gives me motivation to be a better human and to always strive for more for my family. She doesn’t have a clue, but her ALWAYS showing up encourages me to step up. She is in the people business. I mean it. It’s about her people. Clients and staff are family and she takes that very seriously. She’s truly a good human, inside and out. The kind of people we NEED in our community.I really could go on and on about how Atomic has become a staple in Clay County by EARNING it! From the warm, fun, eclectic environment to the organic color that Betsy and her staff have so much experience and talent with, my family and I have NEVER been unsatisfied. That says a LOT. The products they use have dramatically improved the condition and luster of my hair, and both Izzy and Betsy (the owner) are expert cutters.     Betsy has been our families primary stylist for the past 17 1/2 years. I met Betsy when I wanted a Luke Skywalker episode IV haircut on my 2 1/2 year old son, Betsy stepped right up and said she got me and it was awesome!My daughters first haircut was by Betsy. Since then, every style that my daughter has imagined, Betsy has brought to life.Betsy helped me learn to love my curls after years of flyaway and frizz.You dont stick with a person, and follow from one salon to them building their own business, for almost 18 years if they are not professional and excellent at their craft.Betsy and Lenny are amazing people to know at their business and in the community.The Atomic stylists are brilliantly gifted. Izzy took over color and cut of my sons hair and she is patient with all his quirks, and his endless Anime and DnD conversations.     I’ve been going to Betsy for 16 years. Even before she started her business. She is the most knowledgeable hair stylist I’ve ever met. I’ve never been unhappy about my hair cut nor color after sitting in her chair.     Truly my favorite salon i’ve ever been to, the atmosphere is so lovely from their great music taste to their funky stuffed animal friends and the people truly bring a light to the place.     The only thing I regret about Atomic is moving to a different state and not being able to have Betsy continue her amazing talent on my hair.     Ive been getting the BEST hair treatment from Betsy for over 17 years. I freaking love Atomic!! I will sit in anyones chair because Ive seen all the amazing work they all do. Everyone needs to experience a wash from Izzy. Its like being at the spa.. Lenny is gonna give you a crisp cut with a premium shave. Andrea can do it all whatever you need.. but hunny if you need some braids or dreads shes your girl.     Relief Is how I would say im feeling. I have thick straight hair, Love and hate it. Been a very long time since Ive found anyone. That knew how to deal with my type of hair.     Oh boy, i snagged a walkin with a great person, Andrea i think, but Ill call her a mane tamer or ape shaper or something else well beyond a normal hair stylist or barber or whatever. i went in a hairy mess needing a black tie cut for a wedding. She had to see a statue in the marble, and succeeded. She studied my mop, identified its strong cowlicks and bald spots, and left me looking sharper than the groom.
